I really dont understand this, will it get onto this or that exchange. Regardless of theyr volume, it is really easy for traders of any exchange to move theyr BTC from what ever exchange to the next with really no cost. so if there was someone wanting to jump over to the dark side but had a account on xyz exchange. would that not just take him 1 hr to move his BTC to mintpl or whatever and get in on the drk action. all this exhanges, volume thing baffles me .. dont get me wrong I love drk... but really does it matter? .. the thing that matters is the innovation and the belief that we put into its developers and its future.. and I believe with all my heart
Bitfinex would be the first legit DRK/USD exchange and they allow things like margin trading (for shorting ,etc.) as well. If this was just another DRK/BTC market you'd be right, but this is something that is on an entirely different level. Edit: If Cyptsy's USD market really does open in June (June is stated on their homepage) then they might by the first DRK/USD market.

(XC implementation of mixer) Meaning(my guess)
1) a type of mixer server is used which is implemented to client. 2) user send money to mixer with encrypted real payee adress. 3) money is spllited to 2 ~ many small amount, so many tx created. (or ... ) 3) mixer takes user money(all tx), and send to real payee.
Money paid to mixer.
Fedoracoin already implemented mixer.
What will be multipath(my guess) ? As many tx created, each tx will use another mixer. or just one mixer, transmission path is altered ?
What about fee (my guess) ? Minimum mixer fee will be splitted to each tx.
Edit:
As XC dev mentioned it, Current version is, trust me, if you send your money to me, i will send your money to your payee, trust 3rd party implementation.
EDIT: from https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=630547.msg7017518#msg7017518XNodes will charge a fee which will be deducted from the transaction and kept in the local wallet << incentive based >>
Two type of tx fee, one for tx, one for called Xnode.

DRK/USD market now showing up on Crypsty...of course no fiat markets are available yet but this is very bullish...NICE!!!!
Yet another affirmation that DRK, with its HUGE first mover anon advantage, is assuming its rightful place at the top of the list! After a rough start, some very positive things coming out of Darkworld this week: - Bitfinex (not yet confirmed)
- masternode fix incoming
- Amir Taaki of Darkwallet reveals himself as a DRK supporter
- Max Keiser joins the DRK side
- Cryptsy adds DRK/USD
- Continued media attention
The recent masternode fork issue will soon look like a mere hiccup and be remembered as nothing more than a great buying opportunity.

Just wanted to point out that once the auto checkpoint is implemented (assuming properly), the chain can no longer fork. Based on that, I see no reason why MN payments will not go through. I don't fully understand the 6 vote system or why votes are needed at all. If MN processing is chosen at random, then MN reward can also be paid to random node. Anyway, we'll see what happens but I expect that MNs will be fairly rewarded. Else there will be complaints from the gallery and a negative price reaction. That last bit was an observation, not a threat.

Bitfinex or even a Cryptsy DRK/USD market is a much bigger deal.

LOL !!! This is AWESOME!!!!! Cryptsy FTW. Definitely gonna validate on there now. Wow! This is great, and here i was thinking Cryptsy didn't do any fiat at all. That's technically true. Those markets are nothing more but plans at this point. You need a lot of fiat before you can open a fiat/crypto exchange with fiat deposits and withdrawals and it also requires a lot of paperwork which is additional cost and time. Cryptsy have been saving it's income and selling it's shares to reach that goal a relatively long time ago. I suspect this is why they fail to increase the raw processing power of their servers and/or to optimize their code better to reach the technical requirements of their users. (All that lag and "internal server error" kind of downtimes during busy hours...)

Reading back over the original post about the voting system, the only reason I can come up with for requiring multiple votes is that multiple addresses can be nominated per block. Theoretically each address could have 1 vote and nobody would get paid. Why is 6 the magic number though? No idea.

Theoretically each address could have 1 vote and nobody would get paid. Why is 6 the magic number though? No idea. Yeah, seems a very complicated way of doing something relatively straightforward. My understanding is that "voting" doesn't really happen anyway, as pools have no way of setting or coding which MN they "vote" for. It's an automatic process. Why does the block winner need to nominate at all? Why can't they just pay reward to random valid MN? If the voting is weighted at all, this will end badly.

The path to .03For those who believe in TA and think that it applies to the world of Crypto trading, charts are lined up nicely for a move to .03 Cup and handle formation showing a possible measured move to .029 Resistance around .025 and previous ath of .0277 Fundamentals and news flow support a move higher Recent washout shook out the weak hands Things are lined up nicely at the moment for DRK. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Bo8orDVCAAAkK_y.jpg:large

You can also look at that chart as an inverse head and shoulders. If you believe in that TA mumbo jumbo

it's just an idea only. can all valid MNs be paid for every found block? Tx will go through random one but all MN will get paid in the same way. Ex: 5 coins / 400MN = 0.0125 drk for every MN which is in service Thnx that its fair enough don't you think?

Maybe, but it would probably require a lot of changes to the protocol. Remember, Bitcoin is set up to pay the full block reward to just one node. Judging by the time it has taken to code up and test MN payments -- getting that reward fairly spilt over 2 nodes is a challenge. Now trying to further split that over hundreds of nodes... may be more trouble than it is worth. Evan seems to have the problem with the current method sniffed out, anyway. I am not sure if going back to the drawing board is necessary at this stage.
