Revealing your identity doesn't mean anything. We still don't even know who created Bitcoin..
That line is always a winner when someone goes on about "But we don't know who the devs are" Yep, it usually shuts them up xD We know exactly who the Devs of Bitcoin are and your responses just confirm to me even more that you are a scammer no different than the honorcoin dev, or silkcoin dev, or whitecoin dev, or shibecoin, or Limecoinlite IPO, or fill in the blank of anonymous scammer dev. Unfortunately for you the world of crypto has woken up to pump and dump anonymous dev scamcoins like cloak. Cool. You keep on preaching that garbage, meanwhile I'll be laughing all the way to the Cloak bank.

Hmm. Well, I had a nice chat with Evan about several things a few hours ago, so that was cool. Like I said earlier, you may want to take a closer look at what toknormal had to say here. I don't think I'd put much stock in anyone else's pet theories about why the market is doing what it's doing right now. You may also want to re-read what Tante had to say a few minutes ago. She's got a good handle on things. I'm going to be having a boy! Well, technically my wife is going to be. William. My first kid . Oh my GOSH! Congratulations!!!! How wonderful. There has been nothing more fulfilling and wonderful in my life than my children. Not that they're easy, but I still find them to be as delightful and funny and wonderful as when they were born, toddlers, children, and teens. I suspect I'll enjoy them the rest of my life They kept my marriage together through the toughest times because we both had the same goals that were beyond our personal irritations, and believe me it gets hard!. But what a wonderful life! Congratulations again!

So most people will probably blow this off as TA (Technical Analysis) non-sense and I don't like sharing patterns to begin with as it encourages people to try "trading" rather than investing which most people are not mentally or emotionally equipped for but I feel bad for some of the people selling. The people who have bought darkcoin thus far have helped support a blossoming technology which I think can help to solve a lot of the problems in the world. If you own darkcoin, for the faith you have placed in the devs and the idea that is darkcoin, you deserve to be rewarded. Maybe not this week, maybe not 3 months from now but eventually, you will be rewarded and the world will be a better place with secure, anonymous transactions which you helped to support during its development phase. To help some people sleep better, I share with you these charts. What you see here is gold back in the 70's. This is a monthly chart and shows what some would call a bullish pennant or bullish flag. If you disregard the huge run up which constitutes the "pole" of the flag, you have a descending triangle which is indicative of continuation in the direction the asset was moving prior to forming the triangle. Statistics have shown that around 70% of the time, these triangles break up successfully to the upside when formed after a large run up. I don't expect you to believe me, I expect you to go and do some research yourself. I am giving you enough freebies today. Now, here is a darkcoin chart with the same descending triangle that I made a short while ago. Notice any similarities? Look at the waves, the overall pattern formed from the high to where it finally broke out of the triangle. These waves can be of different sizes. The triangle can be touched in different places. The length of the triangle can vary... but as long as the overall pattern and movement stays the same, the pattern is not broken. Can you guess where we are in the pattern right now? Now you may think this is just a coincidence. Or you may think that a pattern that appears on a monthly gold chart does not apply to a 4h darkcoin chart. However, many of TA patterns are fractals. Patterns within patterns within patterns all occurring at different time frames that display the collective conscious of traders and investors. I have seen this pattern across blue cap stocks, monthly and weekly options, forex, commodities and most recently, bitcoin. I have traded this pattern many times and my win percentage does fall around 70%. Perhaps darkcoin continues the pattern, perhaps not. Regardless I am investing in darkcoin, not trading, and am using this opportunity to buy enough darkcoin to setup yet another masternode. Earlier, I asked you to guess where you thought we were in the pattern. Here is a 12h bitcoin chart. Can you see the pattern now? Remember, hoping the price goes up or exclaiming and crying when it does not, is not helping anyone, especially yourself. Instead, take this opportunity to learn about market dynamics. Research Fibonacci retracement, consolidation patterns, how markets are manipulated or even better, use this as an opportunity to learn how to control your irrational emotions and instead, analyze the world around you through a logical viewpoint. I wish everyone the best and I hope many continue on this journey with me of distributing power and decentralizing control. We may not reach the moon, but we are heading places we can only begin to imagine. This is the first of many steps towards the Singularity. Tabula Rasa my friends... +1 Amazing analysis!! Thank you

Why should be at RC4, not now. / my thoughts(sorry for bad english) / someone already said this. Darkcoin has two development thing : anonymous and proof of service anonymous : DarkSend. Improvements in RC4. RC binary has the feature. Upgrade clients. proof of service : Masternode. Whole client has the feature. === ( sfork or hfork or spork ) is needed. What is enforce_masternode_payments ? I think it's a condition applied to a block generated or propagated, every block should have a payout to masternode. When a block generated(solved/submitted) by a pool with not paying masternode, darkcoind will reject the submitted block. If a block propagated with not paying masternode, network will reject the block. How to tell a payout to masternode is legit ? Masternode voting is the answer. But we have a possibility of inconsistency in voting. We need 'a deterministic list of the “top 10 masternodes” with the winning scores'. "RC4 Development and Path Going Forward" https://darkcointalk.org/threads/rc4-development-and-path-going-forward.1604/Last night, we implemented code that ‘soft-forked’ the Darkcoin network and successfully launched RC3. At this time, Masternode payments are live using a non-enforced payment protocol. Roughly half the network has updated and Masternode payments are going out about 12 times an hour!
Testing of non-enforcement mode
With this launch, we introduced a new soft-fork method, which some users have affectionately dubbed the “spork”. As clients update, new features - Masternode payments, in this case - are implemented and available, though not strictly enforced by the network. After almost all users are updated, the fork can be remotely activated, which would enforce the new feature rules. If successful, the new feature(s) would be permanently activated and enforced. If unsuccessful, enforcement can be deactivated remotely for the whole network without the need for users to update their clients. In the latter case, a checkpoint would be added to put the whole network back on the same chain.
This allows us to test higher risk, innovative features in mainnet without having to hard fork the network and without the risk of a live rollback where all users must update.
New enforcement strategy
Over the last few days we’ve been looking at a few different options to enforce Masternode payments in RC4. We’ve settled on a brand new implementation that is much more simple, yet robust enough to protect the network.
Each round, a winning Masternode is chosen to carry out Darksend transactions. This process is carried out by the individual nodes across the network independently using the masternode election algorithm. This algorithm chooses a winning node for Darksend, but there is also a runner up, third, forth, fifth place, etc.
Utilizing this code, we can make a deterministic list of the “top 10 masternodes” with the winning scores. These will be the same nodes accross the network and they will vote on who they believe should get paid for that round. The winning Masternode will be the one with the most votes (up to 10 votes) and the network will reject blocks not containing that payment entry.
Other functionality
RC4 will also still include improvements to the anonymity of Darksend. After the implementation phase is complete we will begin by testing the non-enforcement / enforcement switch and the new anonymity layer on testnet.
Thanks,
The Darkcoin Team

So who's selling all of these coins, the question remains. We need some good publicity on some major news site again and there we go. They probably haven't updated after the failed payments.

I have two masternode server but i can not find healtly iptables rules.
I would be glad if you help me.
I use Ubuntu 14.04 x64 and i changed SSH port, activated Host Access Control and banned all IPs for all services. (excepting my local static IPs and node IPs)
Do you think these measures enough?
Thank you.

This is one of my Masternodes, while payment enforcement is NOT on. As you see, I've earned 6 DRK already This is what is happening behind the scenes, and pulling us back. lost 15 DRKs, for a total of 21, if enforcement were to be on. Pretty soon these bad actors will be forked away But yeah, go on. Speculate at will. I am crying for not having funds to buy more DRK. (but do read my sig please!!)

People running away from LTC !! Look at the market cap drop. No one in their right mind would sell BTC for LTC right now.

Guys, there was a long update posted a few pages back. @eltito Anyway we can get links to these updates in the first post? I appreciate the time you spent typing that out, but if it gets lost in the thread then people will still say communication is a "problem". We discussed this yesterday on the darkcointalk board, I need to get with Evan and come up with an efficient way of updating the OP here. I like Evan more . Where is Evan ? I am fuzzy and lovable, you can't resist my allure forever. Ok eltito ! Make us belive ! Hmm. Well, I had a nice chat with Evan about several things a few hours ago, so that was cool. Just give us a little hint In what state of developing RC4 is ? How you see it ? Could it be done in a week or so ? Could it be done untill theend of July ?Yes Evan is a great developer with a good team, but we need more than that.
