Well this is taking rather surprisingly long to do. I'ts not like it has 5 million lines of code. devising attack vectors on code and trying to find weakness is time consuming.... devising attack vectors - that doesn't sound right. you're at RC4, about to go live and doing this now? So is there RC5?
Wasn't that the point of distributed master nodes and their 1,000 DRKs, plus owners encouraged to avoid them if they didn't know anything about ddos and recovering nodes, to avoid attacks being meaningful?
I'm long dark as well as few others in the anon space, but this doesn't sound right.
maybe a bit harsh. on balance I would rather have the bugs all identified before go live, then split out those that are needed before open source, and those bugs that are fixable later.

Need Darkcoin more and more The vulnerability we will be disclosing is specific to I2P. I2P currently boasts about 30,000 active peers. Since I2P has been bundled with Tails since version 0.7, Tails is by far the most widely adopted I2P usage. The I2P vulnerability works on default, fully patched installation of Tails. No settings or configurations need to be changed for the exploit to work. This is going to sound stupid, but lets see.
Q. Can you use DarkSend+ to send messages? Instead of mixing coins, can you mix letters from a small message, like an address, and recompile them at the other end?

I can't see why not... Great. Q. Can you merge mine with Darkcoin a second anonymous PoW system - one does coins, one does short messages? edit for those smart enough to figure out how to do it, Ev - cough - an, that's a a little extra in fees for master nodes for also delivering the mail.

What advantage does 'mining' messages have over pgp? I don't want to be running three GPU's to send a private email. And Darksend+ has a pretty limited 'alphabet,' that's kind of the whole reason it works - every transaction/transaction group looks exactly the same to any observing third party. You could have an easier to use wallet feature (it's pretty much already there) - send secure msg for a tiny fee to nodes/miners, but it wouldn't need any merged mining, just encryption - send it like any other transaction and nobody will be able to trace it. It's a very under-utilised feature of the existing codebase, don't see why it couldn't be extended to send more than just text...

Well this is taking rather surprisingly long to do. I'ts not like it has 5 million lines of code. Are you joking? Code review and audit takes time, ask anyone who's ever written more than half a line of code... Kristov is *already* working with Evan. Checked out dark news yesterday, Kristov said he has not received the code so the code review has not begun yet. They are still focusing on the design aspect. http://youtu.be/vnaJAcd1F6Q?t=44m1sThis is among of the design aspects they are talking about https://darkcointalk.org/threads/rc4-testing.1830/page-18#post-13078Ps. DRK under 0.01 is a steal

With my current electricity prices, 15 Australian cents per kilowatt, break even price for farming is .008. That is a conservative figure, that's assuming a bit of bad luck with mining. It's also not taking into account my farm is going to qualify for commercial rates soon, which will take the break even point lower...

It will be a variable depending on the current net hash rate and difficulty... so I always tell my friends, forget mining, just buy with BTC.
