I'd also like to mention that raze and Minotaur volunteered to do this work for the project and community. They took time out of their own lives to do it, and they aren't being paid for it. They've put a lot of time and effort into it, and deserve our appreciation and thanks! If you enjoy using Darkcoin software and like the progress and work you're seeing, it would be very kind and encouraging to tip these gentlemen a little DRK for their hard work and dedication!

I generally don't solicit tips for myself, but I do accept them:

Earn your own DRK coins by mining at the multipool. Not only that, you can earn DRK using your old ASIC hardware on SHA256 and SCRYPT coins!

DarkCoin by xpool - DRK Multipool

PROP reward system
DRK Payouts
Scrypt & SHA256 & X11 Algo's
DDoS Protected
High Performance Backend
Simple setup and usage
0% Fees while in BETA
To mine:

How does it work?

xpool offers 3 different sets of coins to mine. SHA256, Scrypt and X11. Each algorithm runs on a shift. Shifts end On Monday, Wednesday & Friday at 7am Eastern. The confirmed coins are traded throughout the duration of the shifts automatically to maximize the profits from exchanging them into DRK. Once enough confirmed blocks are accumulated, the shift is moved into "Confirming" status. Once all the coins are confirmed as successfully traded and exchanged, the DRK payments are sent.

As the pool picks up more hashing speed and sufficient DRK can be picked up from the exchanges, the shifts schedule and payouts will be more frequent. This is a growing phase so the more hash support the better.
If a DRK block is found, there's no exchanging or loss of fees as it can simply be moved into the X11 payout queue.

The advantage of the pool is that you can utilize your older ASIC equipment to earn you the more desired DarkCoin.
Cheers and Happy Hashing!

Donations welcome!

The latest shift payments have finished. Over 52 DRK sent out to miners on all 3 algos!

ZPOOL - the miners multipool! Support We pay 10 FLUX Parallel Assets (PA) directly to block rewards! Get paid more and faster. No PA fee's or waiting around for them, paid instantly on every block found!

When you guys get a chance - put a leash on your rabid trailer trash dog MasterMined710. He's going all across the internet on a Cloakcoin FUDpack smear campaign. Let's keep the debate technical. I doubt DRK wants to get into a shit tossing competition with Cloak. There's plenty of people we can recruit for the job. I was one of the first DRK miners/investors. Although I have moved my funds elsewhere, I haven't resorted to the level of shit that some of the newer DRK holders have gone to protect their investment.
Sorry, as a potential future cloak investor (not at current prices) and current investor in other anon coins i just want my technical questions answered.

I have NEVER posted anything in the official self moderated cloakcoin  ANN thread.
I have NEVER  ad hominem attacked anyone either (rabid trailer trash dog).

Y'all need to put a leash on bobssurplus and others in the cloak community who troll the (unmoderated) official DRK ANN thread.
The XC community has done a great job on that front lately and y'all could learn a thing or two from them (i'm not a current xc investor).
Have some respect and stay out of the ANN threads with FUD and trolling.
I will start a thread for civilized discussion/debate of all the anon coins. Tough questions will be welcome but trolling and name calling will not.

We don't need to learn anything from XC or take advice from you.

When you go around the net starting reddit FUD sub-threads in r/Cloak, posting FUD in the comment sections of Cloakcoin related articles and YouTube videos - you get classified as a gutter trash trader. Your posts have absolutely nothing to do with technical information. All you are doing is planting fear, uncertainty and doubt in the minds of potential investors i.e premine, ninja launch, instamine, vaporware etc. You've posted this same exact post all over the net and yet you can't prove any of it. I hope you know that some of Cloaks biggest holders and advocates are also some of DRKs biggest holders. You should think about that one real hard next time you decide to get drunk and troll the net with your BS.

Cloakcoin at a glance...
The in wallet btc exchange and marketplace looks interesting but…
(oops, just found out the in wallet exchange is actually just an api from a small centralized non-trustless exchange and not actually a decentralized trustless wallet to wallet exchange.)

Cloakcoin had a failed Ninja launch with a 7 day pow 4.5 million coin instamine that has a 6% pos inflation issue. it's also a self-moderated thread that has been censored to cover up launch issues.

so far cloak looks to be mostly vaporware but time will tell. anon devs with closed source unreviewed features is also troubling. it has lots of problems to overcome but it could give xc (1% 2%+ premined, 3 week, 4 million+ coin instamine, self-moderated thread) a run in the pos lane. i may still invest in cloak but i think i’ll wait for more solid info and the inevitable big dump before buying in. congratulations to those who instamined all the coins in the first 7 days. when those people start dumping just a small part of their holdings it will be epically brutal.

you may say that darkcoin also had a  instamine issue the first few days and you would be correct, darkcoin should have been relaunched. drk was however distributed very well over the next few months for pennies because no one knew how big the anon market would be.
the same can't be said of cloak and xc as the anon hype created by darkcoin caused instaminers to hold those instamined coins waiting for the perfect opportunity/liquidity to dump.

the cryptobloat cryptonote coins have worse compatibility issues than cloak and xc preventing mass adoption as well as bloating issues that are supposedly being worked on but it's just theoretical vaporware fixes right now.

darkcoin is a superior pow coin purposely based on bitcoin for easy integration everywhere bitcoin is (this is huge). plus i won't even get into the unlimited 2.0 functionality possibilities of the trustless decentralized masternode system or all the other drk innovations like x-11, dgw, sporks and the fastest/instant anon transactions (darksend+) on the market.
the only question is who will take 2nd place to darkcoin?

any questions?  Grin

I don't drink, how dare you sir.  Wink

P.s. It's a coolstorybro but I did not start any "reddit FUD sub-threads in r/Cloak".  Wasn't me but there was some good questions there that i did upvote.

Little difference, Bitcoin can copy everything Darkcoin does if it's really worth it, unless they keep it closed source (and no one will care about using a closed source app).

Bitcoin can't copy Monero.

So Bitcoin first, Monero second for anonymous shit.

It is what it is.

No, they won't copy it. Maybe they will when/if Darkcoin has 2x the marketcap bitcoin has, but not before. And by then, who cares?  Grin

+1 I don't see them take that risk, too much to lose now, but if Darkcoin takes the lead that's an other story, but then it will be too late.

If you read about the history of darkcoin, you will soon find out that darkcoin only was created by evan because his features were denied to be added to bitcoin.

Very true, but the likelihood of BTC forking again to implement features they were adamant about not including seems highly improbable.

Yes, but the probability goes up when they wonder what went wrong when DRK has 2x the marketcap.  Grin

Love the optimism but I do not see it replacing BTC, largely due to the infrastructure and merchant adoption already in place from the first-mover advantage.

will it be possible to stack masternotes  (n x 1000 DRK / wallet) in RC4?
I think this idea has been scrapped (at least, don't hold your breath for it). Masternode stacking encourages centralization and weakens the network. It's bad enough that one can put multiple instances of masternodes on a single VPS (one per IP).  This is essentially the same as stacking because if the VPS goes down, all masternodes hosted there go down as well. To keep the network robust, one MN per IP is, and should continue to be, a requirement.

Agreed, but DRK can be added alongside BTC with minimal effort. It will be like saying, "We take cash, check or charge".
