Volume now coming in - except in the wrong direction.
Dumping taking place, possibly due to RC4 being out and the 'that's all folks' syndrome of no more significant news to come.
EDIT: New PI order placed, this time @ 86. Feel free to oblige. Masternode #2 now appearing over the horizon.

It would be nice if we could call 0.008-0.009 the floor and be comfortable sitting in that range. Then, as adoption increases, features are added, etc., we could slowly move up from there. I am happy with my .27 wallet with 1 round of DS working as it should right now

Why not darkcoin be accepted by the most person? Why the value of darkcoin is always lower than Litecoin, even Dogecoin? Have the team thought it over? Although the tech of darkcoin is so good currently but I think an excelent coin must be of accept for its applications, marketing, and so on...not only for its excelent tech, such as litecoin,dogecoin,blackcoin... I think the team of darkcoin must spend your time on marketing, and spread your applications. Otherwise the coin must be replaced by some new algo/new coin soon...the value will less and less even die... absolutely not! no! the coin and its backing technologies must be rock solid and hardened before promotion and marketing! you only market once everything is smoothly working BEFORE you promote the system.

Overall I think the launch went well. Most people have had their coins denominated and to date all major "DRK are gone" problems have been resolved. At this point there are 2 issues I see that need to be addressed.
1) Darksend rounds > 1 never finishes denomination for a number of users (myself included) 2) Handful of users aren't seeing their transactions confirmed and be included in the blockchain -- this results in the coins getting stuck.
I expect Evan to take care of these in the next day or two.
I'm going to be working on #2. Can people send me the TXID's that are unconfirmed, their debug.log and a screenshot of the transactions tab? evan@darkcoin.iobump

This is great that its not getting much attention. As I and others have said all along rc5 / open sourcing is the BIG one. Thanks for the ninja launch.

Then, as adoption increases Do you mean retail adoption ? That might be in about 5-10 years time. BTC adoption is increasing but it continues to lose value. Cryptos are currently well ahead of their time. Think world wide web 1992. I think it was 1999 before people started booking holidays on the web in significant numbers. I certainly remember trying to convince an IT support customer of mine that they needed to have email around 1998 and being laughed at. I re-iterate. To know the point at which crypto's might be going 'live', people need to monitor Zerohedge for a significant fiat 'hiccup' such as: [1] - continued deflation in Europe triggering a return of the European sovereign bond crisis [2] - another Espiritu Santo on a bigger scale [3] - the Russia - China axis starting to toss their US Treasury Bond portfolios overboard having decided they've hoovered up enough of the world's bullion to offset their losses arising from such an event [4] - any of the above triggering a minor fracturing of the 4 quadrillion derivatives market sitting on top of this sand pile [5] - Mr Cameron's "if you can't get growth, just increase house prices" scam being rumbled by the markets creating a run on Sterling and forcing the BofE to up interest rates thereby bankrupting the country and causing a default on the bond rollovers (for Cameron / UK just substitute any major Western economy, in particular the US) [6] - Capital flight to the new BRICS banking system causing a fracturing of the 1 quadrilion derivatives market a [7] - a rise in US interest rates pulling some or all of the 3 Trillion excess banking reserves generated through the last 4 years of QE off the Fed's balance sheet and into the main economy resulting in the hitherto much abated Weimar effect

Darksend transactions are used to automatically anonymize your coins. As this involves sending and receiving you must unlock your wallet. It will lock again once finished (this may an hour or so based on network situation, mixing rounds, and the the number of coins you have). Note, there is a small transaction fee required of 0.001 per mixing round. For more information read the release notes: https://darkcointalk.org/threads/rc4-launch.2033/

probably because you encrypted your wallet.dat Thanks for the quick answer, but I want my portfolio to be encrypted! In previous versions upgrade I do not remember came out this message. If you enter the password to understand that wallet will be frequently updated and then re-encrypt it! What should I do! Thanks for the help!

Your wallet is encrypted, it just temporarily unlocks the data so the system can access the data. It is required if you are mixing your coins.

Not even talking retail, if someone wants to transfer funds anon to someone else, they will buy DRK to do so. More anon transfers, more use, more "value" to people, price increases. Slowly but surely it will be more important for people to transfer anon and thus adoption (use of DRK in general) increases.
