They don't understand the concept of crypto in general. I can't even talk tot hem about BTC, much less DRK. These are people who are always getting phished for their facebook passwords and no matter how many times you tell them, they will download every single fake virus warning software they see...

Cash over the internet is pretty simple concept, that hides a very complex process. That is fundamentally a good thing, something very complex that is very simple to understand at face value.

I will keep sounding like a broken record about one thing..... 'Dark'.  The reference name, its going to be a hard sell.

I don't have an answer to what the brand name should be. That is a process that has to be gone through.

I'm also aware that Dark branding can be an asset during the early stages of the coins deployment.  Dark markets and adult pass times built the backbone of the internet and made it mainstream.

I guess, if the concept of a name change is accepted as necessary over the medium to longer-term, then it needs transition planning and appropriate branding changes sign-posted?

I think there is also a view amongst some bitcoiners that alts are bad. They "detract" from bitcoin. I don't share that view. Also for a champion of bitcoin it's easier to stick to one message: Adopt bitcoin.
We can't expect bitcoins champions to be ours.

Bitcoin has done all the hard work and deserves top dog status. I think bitcoin shouldn't change much from here on personally. It needs to be immutable to gain further trust from people who still see it as Magic Internet Money.

Increasingly though there is space for a more private version. And most importantly functionally private.
But using the same infrastructure.

 That's where DRK comes in.

works for me on testnet with any amount... regarding no denomination: try to tail your debug.log, maybe wallet is waiting for splitting - if so there will be "SplitUpMoney - Too soon to split up again" somewhere in the end of it. I'm not sure but I think it's waiting for 10 block since the last split or so.

I deleted the whole folder, pulled a new chain, etc... Issue persists...

It did absolutely nothing until I attempted to send the coins out to a new wallet. The wallet.dat did not increase in size. There was no denomination happening, I was watching tail -f debug.log like a hawk.

The exact INSTANT I tried to send out to a new wallet, bam, all this shit started happening. Payments to self, denom fees, showing denom coming in, then failing... It just sat there doing not a damn thing until the exact moment I tried to send out.

I'm pretty sure this TX is causing the issue, but I can't get rid of it... Client tells me the TXID, then immediately claims that it doesn't exist...
