Update:

Here is stakeholder list population statistics after the fund raising https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AlidWok7hW0DdG1XYWlDemNENl9IaGR5ZHNUNTNhcmc&usp=drive_web#gid=0

Group 1 : veteran account opened before the fundraising.

Group 2 : account opened during the fundraising but showed further activity and engage with the community.

Group 3: accounts opened for NEM registration only at the times this statistics is complied (1 post).

Thread 1 :

Group 1 : 711 stakeholders
Group 2 : 310 stakeholders
Group 3 : 440 stakeholders

Thread 2:

Group 1 : 379 stakeholders
Group 2 : 473 stakeholders
Group 3 : 803 stakeholders   (some already show more activity after this statistics is compiled)

I think this does show the size and strength of NEM community. While we have a lot of veteran accounts participating, we also attract a big amount of new people coming to crypto and joining us.

Nice! You can doing colored nicknames in stakeholder list?

inspired by Jenskas logos i did this:

I really like it, because its close to the fair trade logo (http://www.spd-langenzenn.de/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/fairtrade-logo.jpg) and with a bit of fantasy you can even read "nem".

Was wondering if anyone could help me out. I was wondering what I have to setup/do in order to get my coins when they are released, and what exchange we plan to start on so I can trade them. I tried looking on the main NEM page and apologize if I overlooked it. You can respond here or email me at juda222000@yahoo.com.

Thanks in advance,
Ryan

so, i'm still at work, but i just registered the fanpage on fb. gfx, texts and so on is all temporary.

http://www.facebook.com/pages/NEM-Coin/217174381806901

hey it looks really good Cheesy.

fb ... when looking NEM logo and phrases outside of cryptoworld, I started thinking, if that "No Envy" is good statement - or not.
It contains kind of double negative, which ofc produces a positive thing, but ... is two negative words good for NEM's outfit for mainstreams?
In here, in crypto forums, we all, or almost all, know what that "Envy" refers, but what about the outer world, which has much more people than these forums?

No Envy  ==>  New Egalitarian  ?

one more sketch / idea for the logo :

If, and when Smiley , that needs some explanation, here it is :
NEM is New Economy Movement ; "new" means it is just to be created,
"movement" means that something is the goal of our work, the goal = another economy.
So the Economy is the key.

What can present this new Economy?  Here it is just a simple E. A better one to be defined...  (it depends on the goal of the NEM devs and ideologists. Eg. will the egalitarity have an important role also in the future activity and processes or just in the creation. I don't know Smiley

What can present the old economies?  A pyramid, coz they create all kind of pyramids.

What is NEM doing? It deconstructs the old economy, at least in     psychological level,
and constructs the New Economy.
All these processes forms the Movement.

main thing (for me so far):
NEM: ~ 3000 stakeholders with equal shares
NXT: 72 stakeholders with unequal (is that true?) shares

NXT: 72 stakeholders with unequal (is that true?) shares
Proportional to transfered BTCs with 1 BTC cap per Bitcoin's address.

But really almost no one showed great enthusiasm, BCNext worked at empty area, so for Nxt 73 after 61 days. And for NEM, after everyone can easily check that Nxt succeeded, ~3k after 27 days. All I'm saying: I see absolutely no problem with Nxt initial distribution.

Thats very nice upgrade, i like the fair trade idea, but maybe theres to much black and dark in it at the moment.

Nice to see that my sketches are used, at the http://www.flickr.com/photos/117326947@N06/ you can find more. Feel free to use those.

You don't know what the future holds. I'm still going to continue starving myself and looking for work, even Nem if gives a good return.

My attempt with New Economy Movement Forum:
nemovement.org

I think you should use the http://www.mybb.com/ software instead Smiley And why are there chinese text and english in the same lines? Gets kinda confusing...
We not really sure about name. And my vote to nakamoto
Quote
Though naming the basic unit of the NEM currency (micro-NEM) is a low priority, I
propose that we call it the Nakamoto, in reference to BTC’s Satoshi Nakamoto. In Japanese,
Nakamoto can have several ways of being written, but one is 中元, which can also mean
Chinese Yuan (中国元). This could make the currency popular in China, since it would already
be called “Chinese money” by one interpretation. Also, it would place NEM as continuing the
BTC tradition.

a statistic about IPO ids:
http://c.blog.sina.com.cn/profile.php?blogid=8c9e73af89000zdg

among 952 ids in the nxt hot thread, only 354 are in the NEM stakeholder lists, that's about  37%, it could be more if you made IPO period longer enough. I myself almost missed the IPO if allwelder didn't remind me.

by the way,
I'm able to collect information from posts in the threads with python scripts,
I can help to do something if you think it's necessary,
for example, when you collect passhrase hashes from stakeholders, you could ask stakeholders to post the hash in the thread in a specific format, and I can collect them automatically.  for 3000+ ids it will take some time doing it manually.

Great information. I will see if we need your script later on. Thanks.

I like your gini graph too. You should make one for NEM when we launch.

I'm glad to hear that!
for the gini coefficient, it's going to be quite even when NEM launchs, since all stakeholders have same share. it's interesting to watch how it varies when time elapse.
