Had the same problem... I probably don't install wallets to the right place on my computer... Short term fix below, I think you'd have to do it each time you open PMC's wallet... http://pmc.cryptotycoons.com/Downloads/index.htmlWithin your wallet - Click "Help" - "Debug Wallet". Type"addnode node1.premineco.in onetry" and "addnode node2.premineco.in onetry" create this file with "new text document" and save as all files, name "premine.conf" server=1 rpcuser=theusername rpcpassword=thepassword rpcport=9335 rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 addnode=node.preminer.com addnode=node1.premineco.in addnode=node2.premineco.in put it in users/appdata/roaming/premine (on windows) on mac should be /Users/username/Library/Application Support/premine/premine.conf

We need sharp looking hats and t-shirts and an articulate Preminer to go.... and be in or near New York and have 200 dollars... ( Or 600-ish PMC ) To get in.... also some PMC cold wallet coins ala Cassius... lets send a representative! Seriously... My girlfriend works in a t-shirt/industrial embroidery shop. We can make hats/t-shirts/gold shirts/PMC hoodies... you name it... we did Seals With Clubs hats for the World Series of Poker last year. The shop even took Bitcoin.. Who lives in New York? I live in NE Florida... I could take a train up there.... and stay with family in New Jersey... and I am somewhat techie... But I know there is someone else...

Hey all, Thanks to shanent and pedemaann for the prompt answer. The wallet is syncing right now, i hope to be one of the elitist PMC holders soon ;-) Kudos to Cryptosandwich again, btw. Terrific promotion. The answer finally was a bit tricky. The windows dir and file was in a slightly different place; you know that after years of use, windows have like 23000 names and routes like /user/data/app/net/config/roaming/port/library/users/pplication_data/Data_apps/ etc etc.... But i found it. And yes, the wallet i downloaded is in the front of this thread. Page one, so to say. Maybe is another one in the official web... Hope this helps to devs. Will keep an eye on all this thing. Oh and about the NYC conference, i live in Spain and one friend of mine (who clearly swims in euros) is going to attend there and the Toronto one... weird. If you want me to tell him / order him somethig / tell him to say something to someone while in there / go to meet someone-y thing lmk, he dont even know about PMC as he is an all in in BTC, but dunno, maybe can be useful. Cheers

BTW i'm glad that you have solved you issue with synching and perhaps the different folder is due of different version of Windows

It' s not like the yesterday giveaway but something is moving.
With my twitter and blog post about 20 participants(and likes on fb page) till now to win 5 PMC(pick a winner randomly). It' s not great but is something.

Today i enjoyed myself very much to do a raffle on twitter.
Pity that here there is little participation. If you like this kind of promotion next week I'd like do another one.

I am thinking not right away mainly because that is a transaction fee reducer and we do not need that as of yet for PMC And the maleability bug.... not an issue for us yet either I hope...

Right now my mind is focused on alternative distribution methods of PMC.
Could I, for example, design a game or challenge, where the winner would get a randomly selected wallet private key? Or perhaps simply just release a new game every so often, and whoever cracks it will find the private key.
I could create some simple games in C++, where the winner who completes a series of puzzles will decipher a private key to a wallet with x amount of PMC in it. First one to decipher it is obviously the winner. Perhaps even include the wallet address within the game so people can increase the pot.
I also need to be able to protect the private key from someone just decompiling it somehow from the exe. How could I prevent that? ecrypt the private key within the source code, therefore obfuscating it? Any ideas? If done some basic database encryption in the past using MD5 and hash salting.
If anyone has any ideas, let me know. The games would just be text based, but there's no real limit to how complex they can be, except time. I'm quite capable of some advanced levels of programming, but I want them to be games that could be released regularly. Like little competitions.
It might generate some interest. Let me know if you have any ideas.

I would not worry quite yet. It takes time and energy to build something great. We have a few more hills to climb as well... some of the holdouts may yet still dump their coins... just hang in there... and buy a couple PMC from the sell side now and then

We are about to get dumped for AIR ( Aircoin )... for awhile.... Pretty damn innovative... but it's main innovation defeats decentralization completely...

Sounds like a lot of hopes and dreams to me. Or market manipulation. Best of luck to them.

Still all UI to be made, but it's working!
Soon we'll be able to redeem PMC paper wallets (including Bip38-encrypted) with the Android wallet.

That would be very cool... somehow you are making it install the private key with a scan?
