So people are getting out of their pram about a standard contractual clause? Is that the top and bottom of it?

I'd be very surprised if these guys are out to scam, from what I understand they are pretty serious devs?

Well in my opinion Ethereum will release a product, not sure how long it will take or what the end product will be though.
The main concern that people are afraid of is that it somehow turns into another Neobee and they shut down the company with some B/S reason and then run away with the coins.

Neo & Bee was an exchange was it not?  Very big difference as exchanges carry different types of risks.

Also, ethereum founders are already well off and reputable with a lot to lose if they scam.  The loser at neo & bee was a nobody; he had to pay Andreas Antonopoulos [as a consultant] to shill for them, which he gladly did.

The biggest risk for Ether is competition - I don't think it will offer enough unique features to pull ahead of better older more secure coins.  This is why I would not buy it but other than that I'm sure the devs are solid and will do a bang-up job.

Cheers!

Point taken and yes there is a lot of competition out there, but your right I think that with all investments there are always risks and rewards.
We will need to see how it does turn out though before we can make a judgement on the software of course.

And your right Neobee is not a really good example there or BFL for that matter, just meant that risk is always there when people invest in something new. It could well become an Asicminer as well for the IPO buyers but we will see in time.

I guarantee Ethereum has no intentions to scam anyone.  However, people will feel scammed when the price plummets and the adoption is slow after several months of development delays.

https://www.ethereum.org/

Right now it's showing

"Estimated ether purchased:
4,917,732 ETH"

WTF? What happened to rest of 50 million?

Because miners will have a larger share of ETH than the presale buyers.

Why will miners have alarger share?
