Sending me to Reddit (puke) is just plain dirty I see your point. I said essentially the same thing to both CK and Luke probably a year ago. I'd prefer there be peace among the lot of you. But it ain't my affair. I'm happy to leave Kano and CK alone. I consider it unfortunate that I continue to have occasions where I need to call them out on lies, and would welcome this stopping.

There's a link there to one of my posts saying exactly how to solo mine with an S1 without using anything but the S1.

Not sure where you get your numbers from, but the average paid shares percentage for the last several months has been in the upper 90s%. If you're seeing half of what you think you should be earning then your equipment has some kind of issue. Feel free to give your address here or in a support ticket and we can investigate, but there are no payout/reward issues pool side.

Sounds like spam for slush's pool, but I'll just point out that what you say is actually pretty much impossible. Looking at the address in your signature with Eligius's stats (16evXY9azcbYtLdKCAn1SeNN7gGxcRGRi6) you've earned 0.89838518 BTC by mining sporadically over a several month period at a max of about ~2.4 Th/sec. The BTC earned reflects nearly 98% shares rewarded (better than any other pool after considering fees and orphans). Here is a graph of the mining on your address for the past several months: So basically, you've earned exactly what you were supposed to based on what you've contributed. If you would have mined continuously for 3 months at 2.4 Th you would have earned roughly 2 BTC (estimating, since I don't feel like doing the math for all of the difficulty values for the past 3 months). But you didn't. Your average hashrate at Eligius for the past 90 days was no where near 2.4 Th. eligius=> select sum(accepted_shares)*pow(2,32)/(90*86400)/pow(10,9) as avg_gh_sec from stats_shareagg where server=7 and user_id=(select id from users where username='16evXY9azcbYtLdKCAn1SeNN7gGxcRGRi6') and time > NOW()-'90 days'::interval; avg_gh_sec ------------------ 1070.40079898754
It was 1.07 Th/sec. 1.07/2.4 = ~44.6%.... 44.6% of ~2 BTC = 0.89166666 BTC.... hrmmm... looks suspiciously like exactly how much you've earned. In summary, you don't know what you're talking about and I would appreciate it if you would actually understand how these things work (or ask maybe?) instead of accusing the pool of scamming you. -wk

wait, what?
More trolling by kano, as usual. No pool pays 100% PPS for every share submitted, at least in the long term, and at least Eligius has the stats to show what you actually are earning. In the short term sometimes Eligius can pay 100% PPS, since we're zero fee. In any term kano's pool can not because it scrapes that fee off the top, regardless of luck. When kano comes here to troll more I am deleting the posts without even reading them. Fair warning, so please don't waste either of our time further. In the future please do not bring any kano related BS to this thread. Edit: LOL. So I posted a reply in that thread, and it was deleted. For reference, here is what I posted there in response to something along the lines of "Eligius pays less than kano.is": lol. So kano.is pays 100% PPS, no fees now? If it doesn't then long term Eligius will pay more due to the lack of fees unless kano.is is buying and giving extra bitcoin out of pocket... if that's happening let me know and I'll fire up my miners and mine here.
But until kano.is drops the fee, or somehow finds a way to warp space-time to violate the law of large numbers, among other things it's probably best you stop trolling.
Figured it's time I bring the fight to you since you do nothing but troll Eligius and it's getting super old.
Edit edit: Seems -ck deleted all of the posts on the topic. Glad even he isn't putting up with kano's trolling, at least a little, finally.

I considered moving to slush but dislike the need to make an account. mining with the payout address on eligius is a much smarter method
