I don't really know why this thread is still running since the site is a ponzi..
It runs because Bitcointalk has a policy of not getting directly involved in moderating for scams so people need to do their own research. So until Bitcointalk can create a better method, the best method people can do is to warn others who might fall into these traps. PSA: Scrypt.cc is guilty of Fraudulent Misrepresentation, a crime in every financial jurisdiction in the world. Anyone who has lost money buying or selling their fictitious 'KHS'/'MHS' token is legally entitled to recover their funds back in full.https://www.law.cornell.edu/wex/fraudulent_misrepresentationFraudulent Misreprentation Under contract law, a plaintiff can recover against a defendant on the grounds of fraudulent misrepresentation if (1) a representation was made; (2) that was false; (3) that when made, the representation was known to be false or made recklessly without knowledge of its truth; (4) that it was made with the intention that the plaintiff rely on it; (5) that the plaintiff did rely on it; and (6) that the plaintiff suffered damages as a result.
PSA: scrypt.cc is a scam, most likely of the "ponzi" variety. You will lose your money if you try to "invest" or "play" or whatever you want to call your participation in this shitshow. You've been warned.More info here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1102560.0

I got 3 withdraws today. In spain we are over 400 that have informed about this to police, and we had information about the owner of scrypt before. I must insist that everyone of you that has lost money on scrypt informs to the authorities of your countries, so they get to investigate it and get the data they have about "Marcelo" in other countries.
People, come on, do it, inform to authorities, you cant just be lazy and let others take your money.
I smell bullshit. I really doubt there's even 400 spanish users, lol. Try harder son. Lol are you serious? There were more than 3000 at scrypt. They guy that says police is not the way, Police is the better way, at least in Spain they had been informed about a year ago about scypt.cc, so they were already aware of it. Maybe you will have a surprise if you report about it to police in your country, and discover that others have already reported it.

Yep. Total Ponzi Scheme. Payouts are based on current Mhs trading prices. Real shame actually. That was the only Scrypt cloud mining service I could find and of course it turns out to be a ponzi. LOL
Anyone know of a REAL scrypt cloud mining service? Something like scrypt.cc (with trading and such) but, well, not run by a scumbag criminal?
I have my own machines but they are off for the summer. Heat from them just drives my electric bill way too high.
Would you rent out your miners when they were running for less money than they will generate? Why would you expect someone else to do it?

Would you rent out your miners when they were running for less money than they will generate? Why would you expect someone else to do it? I'm assuming business do not have the same electricity rates as home owners. Electricity rates are lower in some areas. Someone might have "off the grid" electricity such as wind, solar, geothermal, hydro and many other forms of electricity. As for myself, the only reason they are off is we are having a rather warm summer this year and the miners create a lot of heat (I have seven 35Mh Scrypt miners and one 2.3 Th Sha256 miner). So my AC needs to run more to offset it causing me to use more electricity. Once the weather cools down the miners actually offset my heating bill thus save me some money there. Other than that, it's a fun hobby. Edit: Oops, sorry. To answer your question, yes I would and have in the past using miningrigrentals. If I had the capital and more knowledge of the market I would start up a scrypt cloud service. Right now it seems there is no one else trustworthy doing it so the market is there. I don't make huge amounts of profit from my miners in the winter, but I do make a profit and that is with no trading knowledge or hunting the most profitable coin. I usually just set them on litecoin and forget them.

Sounds like you missed the days when scrypt.cc is paying on time, no delays, no hiccups and no issues. Did you check your auto invest if it's enabled without your authorization? Check it as well.

This seems like a partial solution to auto-reinvest being "accidentally" reenabled. Obviously it still means your withdrawal is cancelled, but at least you've still got your money. (Or some very, very cheap hash): My autoinvest is enabled again Put your auto invest on with a very low buy price instead.

There should be official info who is staying behind. With this information you can think about investition. Without official informations investing in services like this is more risky than gambling..

Why give money away, why not just mine that coin for yourself?

Why wait until you reach ROI with your miner. Why not just 'sell' the hashrate to some people? You have ROI instant, plus you earn from the fee, plus you can sell the miner again when they are not longer worth it. And you have instant new money for the next generation of miner. and you have lower risk. because when everything go wrong (bitcoin price collapse), you still have the money from the people. win-win-win (for the guy with the hardware).

Almost always I come into my account to see if I reached the minimum payout, there is a halving. Anyone using RDP main as an alternative to scrypt.cc?
