lolMiner 1.71

Added support for mining Kaspa on AMD RX Vega using rocm based drivers (amdgpu-pro 20.50 and newer)
Added support for mining Nexa on AMD RX 400 & 500 series gpus
Improved Nexa mining performance on AMD Vega based gpuss by 45% (Vega 56 & Vega 64) and up to 60% on Radeon VII, Note: needs still drivers that are HSA based as very new amdgpu-pro versions or rocm drivers.
Improved Nexa mining performance on all other supported AMD & Nvidia Turing and Ampere gpus by 1.5 - 3% depending on model

Lolminer 1.70 vs Lolminer 1.71 when mining NEXA
As you can see on AMD and Nvidia cards, there is actually an increase in the region of ~ 1-3%

We should download the zip file and extract in the normal lolMiner folder.

https://github.com/Lolliedieb/lolMiner-releases/wiki/Guide-ALGO---ZIL

check the links, this is an instruction from the miner developer on how to use Mod Switch

True, but the same tactics are used by scammers to post malware. As a general rule only links posted by the OP
should be trusted.

Yeah seems like FP91G is post farming or trying to be a trusted source of update links and then surprise everyone with malware  Tongue

I urge everyone to use ready-made mining solutions. I use HiveOS and RaveOS because these systems update all miners from developer repositories.

safar1980 made a list of famous Mining OS

I don't use Windows and I don't recommend you to use Windows. I have a hardware wallet to protect against viruses.

12 pcs RX5700XT (lolminer v1.72) NEXA mining

Problem 1:
One GPU gives only rejected shares.
I rebooted the rig, I reduced the core value for that GPU. Nothing helped.
That GPU doesnt give rejected shares with wildrigminer.
What should I do to fix the problem ?

Problem 2:
A few gpu gives lower hashrate than the others.
I know each gpu gives different hashrate. But the difference is so big.
I think there is a problem. Any idea ?

So far I have 4 ideas
1. Update Hive Os
2. View the consumption of the mining farm from the outlet and see the power of the power supply.
3. Set Core clock lock 1450 MHz for all GPUs
4. See how the GPU works on other coins and algorithms

Please ty to update to the new image in HiveOS image. The driver 20.40.1 is quite old, and the 21.50.2 works better, also need it for the all Vegas too for example

Why update if I don’t see any problems in the operation of the mining farm and video cards give out a standard hashrate. On this coin, the hash rate is highly dependent on the core frequency, I can overclock the core to 1400 megahertz, but this will add additional power consumption and overheating. While I stopped at a frequency of 1350.

lolMiner 1.73

Improved performance of Kaspa on Nvidia Turing and newer by 0.2-1% depending on model
Improved efficiency of Kaspa mining on Nvidia Turing and newer by 2-3% depending on model
Halved number of stale shares on Kaspa on Nvidia Turing and newer
Improved Nexa codes:

Improved performance of Nexa on Nvidia Turing and newer by 2-5% depending on model

Improved performance of Nexa on AMD cards by 0.5 - 1.5% depending on model

All GPUs on Nexa and Nvidia GPUs on Kaspa now do a clean shutdown once hitting ctrl+c - that should prevent issues and crashing when exiting / resetting oc

Enabling reading of GPU junction temperature ( and memory temperature on Nvidia GDDR6x GPUs) on Nvidia 530 drivers or newer

Windows: updated the oc gui with added AMD overclock functionality

Recently, a new version of the miner lolMiner 1.74 has appeared. Added Ironfish mining.:
"Added support for Ironfish mining (use -a IRONFISH for putting out your rod) for Nvidia Pascal and newer and AMD Vega and newer GPUs. (AMD Vega require rocm based drivers). Fee is 0.75%.
This version uses the pool protocol extension of TeamRedMiner and should be compatible to all pools supporting their protocol as well as their solo mining protocol fork of Ironfish node."

Why do you need this Windows? If you are new to mining, then you will definitely download some kind of fake miner with a virus and the scammer will steal your coins. Learn to use Hive OS or Raven OS because these are commonly used Linux systems and there are many instructions for them. And you don't need to be afraid of viruses.
