Hi guys,

Iv got 3070s in my rigs, non LHRs, all Windows
On one of my rigs I saw this morning messages something like, trying LHR tune or similar, causing lower hashrates on cards.
I completely forgot to screenshot, so I am not sure if you will be able to suggest anything.
I restarted miner and all went back to normal.

Thanks

And more if you have LHR

Problem is, nearly all HiveOS user did not check the real gpu frequences. It is mostly not that what you set in HiveOS. For me this is the biggest "bug" on HiveOS = Checking the live frequences
I can run my 3070 with under 150w - final frequences 1440/8200 with 740mv at the moment.

Does 1.46a work with toncoinpool.io?

i'm not seeing any of my workers on toincoinpool.io with 1.46a. (my nvidia cards)
1.46a works perfectly fine for icemining.. i'm trying to switch to a different pool because icemining got hacked.

i can see my workers on toincoinpool.io with teamredminer.  (my amd cards are running TRM)

edit... figured it out... need the worker name at the end of the wallet address.. i.e. walletaddress.workname... eh.. nope.. that didn't work

these are the parameters i'm using

--algo ETHASH --ethstratum ETHPROXY --pool eth-us-east1.nanopool.org:9433 --user 0x8ethwallet.$rigName/email@gmail.com --pass x --tls 1 --dualmode TONDUAL --ton-mode 3 --dualpool stratum+tcp://pplns.toncoinpool.io:443/stratum --dualuser TonWallet --dualpass $rigName --watchdog exit --apihost 127.0.0.1 --apiport 4444 --watchdogscript reboot.sh

but does not work.
I put in --ton-mode 3 thinking that was it... but it's still not showing up on toincoinpool.io with 1.46a

Try --devices a,b,c   or put all gpus with lolMiner if lolMiner handles better that AMD that crash...

how to set fixed lhr in windows?

For version 1.46a goes with the tune value that you achieve. then you can put --lhrtune 10.4

In the new 1.47 alpha you can put directly the value like --lhrtune 78.2, but problem is that they say that limit the miner and will not run that value if the GPU is not allow to do it. So it is better up 1.47 to don't use it.

First of all thanks for this fantastic miner!

Today I updated to version 1.48 and saw a mem temp of 100-103°C. Is that too much? Anything I can do to lower it?

OS: Windows 10
Video card: RTX 3070 Ti (LHR)
Extra settings: --cclk 990

Thanks for your answer.

Thanks for your answer.

The 3070 ti has GDDR6X memory which tend to overheat quite quickly and although most people say as long as you are keeping the memory temperature to below 110 Degree Celsius you should not worry much I think that we should worry until we put the temperatures to just below 100 Degree Celsius and I think that should be fine then.

The correct settings in Windows for this GPU are:
Core clock -200
Memory clock +1800 max (maybe unstable lower until you hit the sweet spot)
Power limit 50%

If you have these settings then you can add additional cooling fans to your rig or change your thermal pads.

Thanks for your tips and insights! Adding additional cooling fans or changing the thermal pads isn't really an option since the PC is brand new. Installed MSI Afterburner and started testing...

- Core clock -200 doesn't work since the LHR tuning needs a fixed/locked core clock to work correct
- Lowering the memory clock lowered the memory temp but killed the hash rate
- Lowering the power limit doesn't work since the LHR tuning bumps into it
Also see: https://github.com/Lolliedieb/lolMiner-releases/wiki/Nvidia-LHR-and-Kernel-Mode

I ended up with something else that more or less works:
- Set a fixed core clock at 900 via lolMiner itself (--cclk 900)
- Made a custom fan profile with MSI Afterburner including higher fan speeds
I now have slightly better memory temps of 98-102°C which seems good enough since I only mine 5-10 hours a day.

Ok nice to see such improvements.I have seen these kind of cards doing like 57-59 Mhsh but I would be happy with 53-54 Mhsh as long as the memory temperature hits a maximum of 102 degrees which should be fine as long as you only mine a couple of hours a day.Make sure if you switch from your home PC to making a real mining rig to choose non LHR cards no matter how difficult is to find them,or at least use GDDR6 only memory and not GDDR6X which you have seen yourself throttle a lot and suffer from high memory temperature.

Probably best will be to change pads... that will completely solve your problems
