Not yet, I have not been able to build one that works on another computer. Building it yourself is actually not too hard. You're the second person to ask for it. So I will take another stab at it soon.

The hard part is when it comes to older versions of OSX. With some help, I've gotten a 10.6 and 10.7 version to compile. (I'm talking miner, not client)  With 10.4 however, the automake version is too old, and I suspect the libcurl version will be too old as well. If I knew what i was doing, I'd compile a miner for 10.4, preferable universal binary -- even if it wasn't super efficient it would be better than nothing.

I have the hardware, just not the know-how.

I found this thread, and couldn't make it work:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4823.0

Then coblee pointed me to the same thread, so I read more carefully, and it did work.  You need to get the libcurl.m4 file from the downloadable source at the libcurl website.  If you get that, and follow the instructions in the thread above, you can get it to compile in 10.7 and 10.6 -- I haven't tried 10.5, and have failed with 10.4.

No you see god damn botnets back again.
Lol, that's another possibility indeed Smiley

No that is what is happening there is at least two of them one 2.5mh/s and the other 1.2-3mh/s in size I have seen them join and leave many times in the past while, although usually a little later in the day. Most times it would be couple of hour from now then they leave after 6-8 hours so it may even be someone in large company getting the overnight action on normally down machines in a large business not actual botnets. Anyways in long run it is going to screw us as they keep upping the diff higher than it normally should be for the regular miner and getting the majority of the coins while doing it then they dump 30-40k in coins on the exchange at once when done with their mining crashing the price.

Welcome to CPU coins.
Told y'all so.

Yes unfortunately now I have heard the idea of licensed mining put out there before anyway to implement that after launch as I don't know about the rest of you but I am not interested in making some botnet bastards rich.
unfortunately botnets are a fact of life on the internet, if they arent mining coins they are sending spam or other malicious activities...

I think the distinction between "botnets" and "clusters" or "large legitimate cpu miners" needs to be made.

1)recently there was a 2.2Mhash/s miner on ozcoin, used the nick "temp", this miner more than tripled our hashrate at the time, obviously i was curious... I investigated and found the miner was the owner of a large IT company, his machines are under his control , he pays for power useage etc
other buisness i have had experience in BTC mining have service contracts with people that allow for after hours use of customers pcs-not something i would do, but hey ppl get cheaper support this way..
as opposed
2)botnet uses other peoples machines and their power without permission
and then
3)people at work or school running miners on pcs that arent theirs, pay no power - some are network admins doing this without employers permission

so now we talk about ppl getting income unfairly....
1) to me seems to be another miner like you and me, pays for his hardware and power, puts effort into mining
2)gets income unfairly
3)often get applauded in irc etc, but really are they better than 2)?

the challenges for poolops is identifying legitimate miners from others - this is not as easy as it may seem to some, especially on cpu coins. on gpu coin large cpu miners are obvious by their number of connections, here everyone is a cpu miner...
botnets use various strategies to avoid indentification not all come in as 1 user on 1ip or even put all thier power to one pool, i imagine some are solo mining still
ppl in category 3) are generally harder to identify - till they start bragging about it Wink

so yer, i'm not interested in making ppl that steal computer cycles and electricity rich either... but reality is where money is involved (even at *coin small relative value) there will always be people trying to take unfair advantage

what are we the cLitecoin community going to do about it?
and dont forget disgruntled botnets can cause other issues ...:/

Yes I had seen that temp user and mentioned it in your thread at the time. Who knows what to do about it because as you say if you kick the fuckers off the litecoin net they are likely to attack every litecoin poll there is as they have done with the BTC all I know is I think people are going to get rather discouraged seeing all the coins go to them scumbags..
Personally, I find this much less discouraging than 10000 blocks being distributed withing the first 24 hours, or than 13M premined coins. Even though botnets are clearly not legitimate, at least they're playing "by the rules" (kind of) instead of profiting from a very very misadjusted difficulty or from being the network admin (or his pals): unlike the latest, they do have a (fairly important) cost for the botnet. Plus they are actually helping in protecting the network against 50%+1 attacks, until you piss them off at least.
And no, I don't own a botnet (I wish Cheesy).

What is the fastest miner for LiteCoin right now? If theres any difference, for an AMD system
k10fam with sse, 64 bit
where would i find it?
http://www.wuala.com/jbw9/pub/Bitcoin/Tenebrix/miner/win/test/minerd-amdfam10-sse4a-64.exe/

It even beats every Intel miner that's out there on Intel processors. Credit to twobits.

Wow. Thats like >50% faster on my Core2 quad, assuming the reported hashrate is correct!
Is there a linux version of this?

For linux you need to compile yourself using flags from first post of this thread ;-)

What about LTC exchanges? I heard that it is more than just https://btc-e.com

And what about block explorer? Do we have one with info about pool which generated each block?

Just for info: Don't use Wuala if you want to reach people in China. The page (and many others: Youtube, Facebook, etc.) is not accessible from there (here).

Don't see any LTC/USD graphs.... nor bids.... keep a good work ;-)

Source code and compile flags ?

https://github.com/Lolcust/Tenebrix-miner

Also, you may need to configure it for your machine to get the optimal speed. Check the README file. Somewhere on the forums, people have suggested running configure like this:
    CFLAGS="-march=native -O3 -Wall -msse2 -msse3 -msse4.1 -msse4.2 -msse4 -mavx" ./configure
OR
    CFLAGS="-march=native -O3 -Wall -msse2 -msse3 -msse4.1 -msse4.2 -msse4" ./configure

Yep, this SEPA topic has set that back quite a bit. Busy opening accounts outside of Europe, but that takes a while.

Volume? Yep, that's a b... I guess I need to beef up my marketing skills.

Some mirror links for minerd-amdfam10-sse4a-64.exe (308.50 KB) :

++edit: waiting of twobits approval

Hope it helps Wink

@coblee: you can put those links on your first post along with newest winLTC client (I think in first post is not the fresh one)

I'm mining at around 1.5-1.8 KH/s and was expecting to find blocks a lot faster at .20 difficulty Sad

twobits very specificly stated that he would appreciate if people didn't mirror the download link to his miners. You might want to check up on that.

Ok, I removed the mirror link from the first posts. I can't be sure that it's not compromised. The wuala link is good though.

Well, you can just checksum it, but I'd consult with twobits first.
