I do not understand why we should do video verification? Because it is a much more reliable method to verify the identity? I dont think so. And who will pay our time spent on video call (it takes abour 30 minutes)  .

I think this is good too, so fraud can be minimized even if it's a bit complicated. and a suitable application to support smooth video calls, in my opinion, is Facebook live or Instagram live because both are very stable.

Well nothing is impossible.... It'll be awesome if the ICOs can adopt video call for Kyc instead of sending sensitive documents and informations which you don't know what's its being used for by these people.. And one advantage of this video call is that Kyc can be approved on the spot i.e it saves time.

It seems to me that if the ICO teams still do KYC using a video call, they risk never even collecting the minimum amount during the ICO. It is unlikely that investors will be so interested in their tokens to risk so much. Moreover, bounty hunters will not do this. KYC's ICO is just a kind of hype, without any practical significance. Supporters cannot support ICOs that violate anonymity. This is a malicious hype, you need to be careful. Please be new to ICO.

I don't like everything about KYC, cryptocurrency is not anynomous like it used to be. KYC is a government agenda to make it easier to find people who have crypto currencies and suspect them to do negative things. So, in the future I doubt the decentralization system that has become the nature of crypto currency, maybe in the future crypto currency will become a centralized system that is easily regulated by the government.

This can be surprising having video as KYC as it's changing gradually, this can stand as a good verification but I really wonder how long this can be and I've also be involved personally in one and this can be so frustrating sometimes because at first it was difficult accepting my verification but as I see this is good because it will show I'm real with no multiple account, this is a new develop for verifying KYC because I wonder how many admin workers are involved and how many they can verify.

And it can also take the chances of investors to had their identity to lose. Though I still haven't heard any ico that did this like it will surely be a hindrance for them to attract more investors. We have our own errands to run and doing videocall wouldn't be a good idea.

Otherwise, AML will do this as a mandatory but expect the lower traffic of investors.

It is impossible, a project will need many people and resources to do it this way, and it will take a lot of time. And you still have to provide information. In my opinion the best solution is to have an intermediary that everyone can trust to implement the KYC process, ICO projects will rely on this intermediary without requiring participants to KYC again.

This is really good, I have encounter one of it. I think in this way, fraudsters and cheater will have hard time faking the KYC since this will be done live, some people says its waste of time but nope, if they have process to do it doing this live will be more faster than doing kyc document.

This is the first time I hear about such an idea and I don't believe that it will replace the standard KYC verification. Is this your fantasy or you have some source of information describing this procedure?

I think the best way of KYC should be Video call. With video call, it will be very easy to detect scam in it and may also save time.

It will be more easy to spot cheaters but I think the team needs more workforce to accomodate all those who fill up the kyc but its hard to be done I think. Video call might speed up the approval of the application, more time for this kind of innovation and many test needs to be done to make sure everything will gives the best result.

I also don’t see process like this in cryptoworld, but I experience this one when I apply for an online account here in our local brokerage but I think its only possible if there is no huge traffic on that technology.

I think video call for KYC verification should be only used by crypto exchanges. Exchanges must do compliance with government's law so they need to carefully verify its users, video call can exclude frauds and edited images such as selfie, ID card, passport that used for verification.

yes of course.... this is possible. But, the questios is ?
"do they have time to do it?"
and maybe they have to spend a little bit money for that.

For sure they have, they will set for that and some team preffer in that way because they have seen a positive outlook and looking forward for more ideas. Though spending money is natural we cannot say to stop because that is natural enough.
