Wow video KYC sounds like a nightmare from the novel 1984.  Next we will need full retina scans and anal probes.  Are you guys seriously sending in Passport documents over and doing videos? 

Maybe that would not totally happen I would agree if through chat the communication. We are all busy doing our individual job and that would taje for long if their is a vedio for KYC. That would not probably happen because it takes a lot of time. The trust will still be their as always.

Yes, that is absolutely crazy. I faced it once also. Civic has a face scan, where crypto is going with all this KYC. Satoshi did not want blockchain to look like that for sure

I don't know. I think this idea is not the best, and a bit stupid. Just like sending your passport data.  I think we need to look for another way to confirm the identity and fight with scammers. ... I don`t understand many things in this procedure.

Video call for KYC to replace documents upload is very possible and a good idea but it would be very tedious to do on the part of the Ico team with thousands of bounty hunters. Maybe they can hire dedicated 3rd party services to do it.

That will busy day for bounty manager. The problem is spreadsheet sometimes late update and how can they there's plenty of time to take care of the video call ? what if there are 2000 participants ?
Kyc video call I think is only suitable for exchanger that if the members need to make changes to their data (in my country this apply) and to bounty just enough kyc identity as usual.

yes, it seems like an idea like this isn't so good, i think this method wastes a lot of time.
i think this idea is crazy, because some people cannot use foreign languages fluently. if you use a video call, it will make everyone difficult.

but civic does not share your video and documents they just certify they are real, I think it's a good solution.

So this is already a reality. I participated in the Winstar project. I received a videocall from members of their team at a certain time.

Can you imagine the kind of AI computing power you would need to analyze thousands of videos looking for people creating multiple identities. Seems like a complete waste of time when you can scan documents instead which are much less data intensive. The key to future KYC system will be its ability to provide information that exchanges and ICO's need like your uniqueness, country of residence and nationality without disclosing personal information that they do not need to know.

I think the cost of not so into Affairs, now many are doing so through the existing application on the mobile it became very easy. I also have been following such verification, nothing difficult, all the runs with ease.

In my opinion, this idea is not good and will not go far. It is impossible that create video call for kyc.

Such a waste of time, instead of focusing with development of the project this will serve additional work for the team, and if ever team will implemented such I guess investors will not agree with this, most of crypto lovers still wanted to have anonymous investment, revealing your personal identity is one of those features that keeping new and old investors away from any projects that implementing KYC.

it seems that it is very good and can provide identity in the original way without editing, because usually when doing KYC by uploading documents it can be edited and can be manipulated.

For further verification for the identity, I suggest making video call to ensure that the person submitting the documents is real. But still KYC documents is required. Because it is a requirement on the law of the country against AML. We have to comply on it. It is not beyond the concern of the ICO team.

The idea is good but it's too much complicated for me personally. You should provide all of your identity card and then you must do video verification and then that looks so weird to do that for some pennies. Does it enough for you?
