Document verification is okay for KYC, recommending  video call is quite demanding for both investors and the ICO developer,  it is tedious for ICO developers to schedule several time for individual investors, also for both parties time difference might be a challenge, I feel with the document verification details investors profile can be ascertain.

Is it Video call or video recording? That video recording for KYC can be so frustrating. I tried it on one app, my head almost fell off my neck where I was doing 'look over left shoulder', 'bring the phone closer' and all that. I had to give up.

Wow video KYC sounds like a nightmare from the novel 1984.  Next we will need full retina scans and anal probes.  Are you guys seriously sending in Passport documents over and doing videos? 

I think not, because exposing credentials over the internet, without fully unknown people can lead to fraud. They may use our id to scam other people, worst is to steal and we are the blame. Best to avoid this.

Yes, it is a great idea but I have no idea how to check thousands of people on video. Moreover, many will not be able to answer and they have to constantly call back. A lot of problems with a video call, and upload your documents to someone is also not a good idea.

This is not advisable for us to do this kind of requirement, as a bounty hunter it is too much if implemented. KYC identification is enough, maybe the one need that those investors with big investment to make sure of the project security. For those bounty hunters and airdropper, I think this is not necessary to do.

Know Your Customer is not healthy for the bounty participants or even to investors of any project.
Though this will be a good defense for the ICO team to eliminate those people who are not eligible to participate.
Documents is not good to share and video call be worst.

KYC through video call is more complicated than submitting your information.
How do you know if the person you contact is he/she are you looking for?
It is also more expensive because sometimes your costumers living so far.
Need to pay the telephone bill.

I don;t think it's a good idea. Even it's possible, it will make the KYC process become more complicated and inefficient. As an investor, I will think twice to do that, and as bounty hunter, I am not going to do that especially for a couple bucks in return.

That is impossible, video calls for KYC are very unlikely because there are definitely a lot of people who will be confused with this, many are not very good at speaking English, I think the current KYC procedure is pretty good

it's embarrassing for me, I don't really like making video calls with someone,and also many people who don't like it even though it's a KYC document.
but if it is a condition so that we can withdraw our money, I will do anything including KYC video call.

Imagine a situation when people come to your home and make sure that you are you. For example, I will call and tell you, show or better send me your documents and show your face. I want to know that you are you. Then I will just sell your documents.

Video call for KYC, I think that would be better for me than uploading my documents,  but I won't be willing to do it for every project except one with good potentials

Most of the cases that occur on the market today lead people to the fact that the market eventually forms a large number of scams by the project and after the formation of scam projects, the developers who have already deceived people once deceive people twice by selling documents

If for bounty or airdrop, I have never carried out verification of Google via a video call. I always upload documents for Kyc. But for an exchange via video call I think it's very possible to speed up the verification of the video. And for applications according to what is used by projects such as WhatsApp, Skype and others.

for me KYC is a very complicated thing and it makes it difficult for both video calls and passport documents or anything else. if there is indeed a KYC for video calls I recommend telegram applications.

I did one video KYC verification and the process took about 40 minutes and I say no more! Investors have a time for do this thing? I do not think so, so ICOs are loosing their investors if they ask for video KYC.

People are against it. Therefore, I think that today there is a real problem with this process of KYC, which has already helped form a huge base for many law enforcement agencies. Therefore, I think that today it makes sense to talk about it.
