I've seen an app that uses video KYC verification I just can't remember the name but not anywhere near crypto project ,its not impossible but it will be something decided by project teams

i heard a video call with an exchange back jaunary. it was successfull and i was happy about it. i think it is fun and cool. kyc might not be that important but it is a means of preventing multi registrations and scam activites.

Well, I passed something like that, but it wasn't a call actually, there was a special programm with face detection and I had to move my head left to right and tell numbers shown on a screen

Here in our country, we are doing it in our exchange but I have not seen it required on any ICO that I've participated and none of my friends who are participating in ICO with KYC participated on that kind of KYC, one reason is time-consuming there are at least 4000 bounty participants and a huge number of investors , their support cannot keep up.

I think it is possible, but I have no idea how this will happen and who will do it. It is good if there are few investors in the project, and if there are thousands of them? This will require certain costs and human resources, it is much easier for them to leave everything as is.

sounds easy. yup, I agree. rather than users having to do KYC it is better to do it using videocall, personal data is very sensitive if used outside the owner knowledge. developers can use AI BOT to verify KYC so that it can be done quickly simultaneous.

video kyc is possible,  it seems recently those who did the xlm airdrop had to go through video call kyc,  although I didn't participate in it,  but I think doing a video call kyc will go a long way in curbing fraudulent activity from ico or airdrop participants

If for bounty I have never verified KYC from video calls. But for others like verification on the exchange I did it before. Maybe this is an option so that the verification is done quickly. Sure enough, after verifying via video call not long after, I agreed. And that uses Skype for video calls.

Video call KYC is not better than sending personal documents to the unregulated project managers. There is no guarantee that the database for the project will not be affected by the hack. I don't want to be arrested for stolen online documents.

I recieved emailsvkast few weeks ago from the rebit.ph that I need video call KYC to as some question for me and they suggested to me download a microsoft teams appilcation to start the video call.  I don't think if the bounty will do verification like that because mostly they only need a valid ID and other document to proof who you are and there is no need videocall verification .

Basicly I pass KYC without video verification.
I think that it is not required. What is more sometimes I pass KYC with fake documents and it is still ok. I don't want to disclose my data

in my opinion, Kyc with video calls is a good innovation, minimizes fraud and also tightens security where many users misuse it.

maybe can. if the developer no longer needs a KYC system in the form of documents. if doing with verification through video is far more clear and tangible because it can meet directly with the participants by telephone. and I hope this will happen soon because it can reduce the prize scam campaign too.

KYC verification is always very good for the confidence giving so when it implemented in to live video method then it will be definitely very good and easy process for everyone verify their identity with very secured method

Many bounty campaigns are already using video for KYC but not video call, more like it, It is very ok except for the challenge of the network which has been making things difficult for people to carry it out smoothly, for me, i am more comfortable with the uploading of document than the video system.

I have made two video calls for KYC verification. One was 2017 and the other one was last year 2018 for the ICO of Vetri. I have sent also all my documents per email but I won't never do it again. It takes a lot of time..

Video call for KYC is time consuming and I don't think any company will do that. I know of some projects that require that you record a video to pass KYC, but a video call will be too much for the team.

I can not imagine how much the project should be attractive, so that I would decide on the passage of this type of verification in which not only my personal data will be involved but also my face is revealed. Cryptocurrency must uphold the principles of freedom and anonymity.
