Yes, just to be clear, it is not just Guncoin with issues at Cryptopia.  Even bigger coins like Feathercoin are in maintenance mode among many others.

We have had several email exchanges with the wallet team at Cryptopia and believe we may have a positive path forward to get things moving again with them.  Once we have their agreement and the updates have started, we will let you know.  This would require a hard fork and create GUN Core V1.5.2 when it is done - but would restore our blockchain and solve the issues at Cryptopia.

Our proposal to Cryptopia will require us to do a wallet upgrade.  We are not going to start that effort until Cryptopia agrees and confirms what we are offering will work and they can support it.  We can do our work in about a week.  After that, it is up to Cryptopia to do work on their end - I have no idea how long they will take.  They would like to get it out of Maintenance Mode as would we.  They have LOTS of coins in Maintenance Mode that make zero money for them, so the sooner that changes, the sooner everyone can trade and make money again.

Yes, we have made several arrangements with a few groups to do that for us in the near future.  However, it is on hold until after we start trading again on Cryptopia.  The money would be wasted now.  Additionally, it is perfetly OK, for ANYONE in the community to promote GUN as they see necessary.

Cryptopia will do nothing until we give them new code and pay back the coins that were lost one way or another.  That is the same situation with dozens of other coins there also.  Fortunately, we have new code in work that should be complete next week and have hopes that this will solve the situation with Cryptopia and then get GUN moving again there.

yup, cryptopia's incompetence has led to them blackmailing other coins.

consider other exchanges like tradesatoshi or southxchange, i'm also cool with novaexchange but they dont allow USA users. heh heh...
