guys we may have a solution instead of sending in a ton of 999 transactions.
who knows what is causing the issue. Robert is looking at the issue right now.
i'd suggest taking screen shots of your octocoin wallet balances and addresses. we may have to just have you email those into us with proof of the amounts you were attempting to burn and your counterwallet address.
keep in mind. this is not an extension to keep mining after midnight and have more Octocoin to burn. we need to keep some honesty and the midnight deadline honest.
however, in this instance where miners were keeping us able to burn, it would not be fair if you guys couldn't burn. i totally thank you for keeping the blockchain going and want you to have the oppurtunity to receive your OCTO because the miners keeping the blockchain up the last few months deserve that.
octocoinburn@gmail.com and rross@foldingcoin.net
those are the addresses you will need to send your proof to if you cannot send octo transactions into the burn address or you cannot get over the 999. some of you have a large quanity of coins and that would be hundreds of transactions. who knows what that many transactions would do further to the network.
if we do this, then all emails of proof must be received before the burn deadline. this is not an extension. this is a prove what you have at your addresses and we will work with that.
if anyone has any better ideas, by all means, post them.
of course doing it this way means that we will have a total number of OCTO distributed that is a little higher than what the burn address can prove. but i'm pretty sure the posts and such document that this was happening along with the block chain that shows the 999 transactions. i know i had someone check and he could not send more than 999.

transactions above 999 appear to be going through on blockchain now, keep trying to send your burn address transactions. we may allow for extension past midnight into the morning hours.

OCTOCOIN IS DEAD!!! Long live OCTO(PARTY) on that note. i would suggest everyone move to the OCTO thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=960933.0once you receive your OCTO in your counterwallet you may visit: https://letstalkbitcoin. com /forum/board/all the public forum works when you sign up. but if you hold OCTO and OCTOFAME tokens you receive access to OCTO related forums. you do have to sync your counterwallet address with LTB in order for the forum to know you hold either asset to access the special forum. pretty neat. Token Control Access will play a big part of the first projects that OCTO is involved in.

so i've been away for a bit, haven't seen a computer in almost 2 months. how is the burn going? is it still available to be burned? what is the process?
it's probably been explained already, so if someone can just point me towards the post # that'd be great.

*sigh*...i give 888 octocoin whatever folks credit......holding out not for weeks, not for months, but over a YEAR....which in crytpo is lightyears lol.
i mean i dunno who has had it worse, you guys or murraycoin folks? regardless, the bholzer dev (as good as he can be) is too busy with 'his own life and company' (and whatever other crypto play he had/has) to be around...thus it means he of course has more than enough money/btc to live off. and we know he's had a hand in both coins, moreso in murraycoin...but even that's a sleeper.
hopefully he cares enough to lift at least MRY (and maybe help 888?) out of the gutter they're both living in right now. i know "legit crypto takes times" but holy schmoly how much time does one person need??? i know other busy and lazy dev's that have taken their sweet time but at least showed results AND some price movement over months even. but hey what do i know.

Did anyone get back with you on this issue? LOL NO I've received many PMs regarding this and that on this forum, but for some reason once it mattered, my inbox went silent regarding the timed nature of this bullshit burn. FrameLA was kind enough to reach out to me many times prior to the burn, asking me to be aapart of this andd thaat, which i appreciated, i'm just amazed that my inbox went silent when the real deal was finally happening.

just incase it gets deleted, i just posted this in the octoparty thread:
Why didn't i get any notificaations in my inbox that this burn was happening?
FrameLALife AKA OCTOPARTY, you messaged me multiple times to get me onboard with skype calls etc. while we were all still deciding weather to do the burn or not, then my inbox mysteriously went totally silent when you decided to do the actual burn.
I've received mass-emails for much less important stuff on this forum. Why did you intentionally decide not to send out any e-mails/msgs when you decided to do the actual burn?
I've put more than a year of my life into OCTO, and other than you was one of the most outspoken members of the original thread on BCT.
Then I moved back to Canada for 1 month where i didn't have stable internet, then this happens.
I'm very dissapointed, and want to know what OCTOPARTY plans on doing to make it up to me. I'm a %3 owner of octocoin, and was going to burn it all for OCTOPARTY, i was just waiting for the green light, which never came.
I'm confused as to why you had the time to personally message me multiple times beforehand, but not one mass message to everyone in the original octothread when you and your team ddecided to drop the hammer on the burn.
it could have been an honest mistake, but i gotta say, it's just one more bit of sketchyness in a long history of sketchyness with regards to octo.

All your sketchy are belong to us.
I still have 67K 888 that I got in the final hours that I was not able to burn by the deadline, so I'll let it sit in my 888 wallet just in case

I will talk to Kris about this right away! We do not want to abandon any community members here, it would suck for you to get abandoned twice. Kris is at work right now but i will talk to him about this right away
