Will there be like a demo version one day?
So that people who are using other bots can try CAT out and see if it worths the extra amount.
Most of the bots are cheaper than CAT but CAT is a lot older and have been around for longer, if there was a demo to try it out I think some people might change their bots to CAT.

I don't want to SIMULATE a behaviour.
Demo version are usually without some critical features (like real order creation).
A person could try a demo, and have good result, then buy the real copy and got a negative result.
It's also possible the opposite : demo goes wrong, user decide to not buy the program, but it was only an unlucky demo session (wrong market, bad parameters or similar).

I prefer to give the opportunity to resell the product to anyone but gives only the REAL 100% Original CAT program

I try to ran CAT 4.9 on MacOS 10.12.4 Jawa 8 (build 1.8.0_121-b13), the folder with CAT.jar I put in the /Applications/ folder.
After I double-click the CAT.jar the system tries to open it with Jar Launcher (15.0.1) and all I get is pop-up window



I check the same CAT.jar on the Windows and everything is OK there.

So could you, please, help to make the CAT run on MacOS (hope it is still possible)

Well MAC users doesn't have any problem in run C.A.T.
CAT is multiplatform, you only need java 8 on your System. So first question is : did you install java 8?

hum well looking at the image it seems that anothe program is trying to open CAT.jar, this is not java.
your JAR Extension is already used by a Zipper program.
Try to run with JAVA -> Right click -> Run with Java

Well, no other program is trying to open CAT.jar, only the default Jar Launcher, as I previously wrote. Zipper only unarchived CAT.rar and thus created CAT.jar

An idea came to my mind, does CAT require Java JDK install or JRE is enough?

Because it actually did it   it is unarchiver I use for RAR files, and as I sad on windows this very CAT.jar file works fine, so I don't think it's damaged.
(btw why don't you use zip as it's default for most OS and I think CAT is too small to gain anything from using RAR)

This bot is great except it cannot react to price changes on a big exchange.
so if you're trading on a small exchange, its easy to get arbed.

It would be great if Sampey would import a feed from polo for each pair on say your "Bittrex" 2nd highest volume exchange bot, and allow you to make sure your trade is not within X% of that feed price, and have it update 1x a minute or so. Otherwise, you'll just get sniped / arbed by smart bots.

Example would be LTC/BTC on polo does an instant move from .01 to .011, meanwhile your Bittrex bot is sitting inside order book at .01, but notices the move and moves orer up to .011 on Bittrex before all the buys happen and you get arbed.

From my understanding Sampey is implementing a great feature to allow your bot to sit guaranteed X% outside of the average of highest bid/ask, then inside any orders. All he would have to do is import a separate, 2nd feed of the other exchange highest bid/ask, as a 2nd protection. Not hard.

At that point this would be a real killer!

this week I have spend another day of my life for rearrangement of CAT in the hope it will ran accurate for a week or perhaps 10 days.

if you have more pairs open than 2 or 3 (xx pairs) you know this:
sometime you have to wait because of the FIFO for the next possible click 1 minute or 2 or sometimes as far as 10 minutes (particular if you click at add ping request, no more input possible till it apears in window)
the queue time is very annoying and if you have as often short of sleep it is best to close your eyes for a short time to next possible click.
But in the hope next input is possible in the next seconds you open your eyes every x seconds and usually you have to wait more.

It would be nice to have a sound (a gong) if the next input is possible that you know to open your eyes now because CAT is ready for next step.

you know because of any discontinuity of CAT (because of freezing GUI or other bashfulness to kill CAT or required reboot etc. and you have no time to rearrange all), the markets are usually far away from your offers and you are bagholders again.
 -> It is possible to renew the bids in the market explorer, but it takes much time to do this for all markets (and sell/buy additionally to handle)
 - So, you have already accept that you made a deficit and only want to be back in game again,
 - so there should be one button to restore ALL open orders as PING with the updated market prices (in awareness to proceed with accepted minus) and not to have the effort of more hours to restart manually all open pairs.

Current Changelog

- Now The SELL Pool is expressed as Qty (Easier To use, more precise in calculation). To obtain this, these changes has been done :
  - Split option "Set Pool Value Amount to 0 If Current Amount is <" in 2 separate options, 1 for sell, 1 for buy
  - Changes Buy/Sell Pool GUI Interface/Some Log Messages (about PONG into Buy/SEll Pool)/Some Labels on GUI/Various code
- Now Preview From Buy Sell Pool Is more Precise and you have 2 button, 1 for Buy Preview and 1 For Sell Preview

- When you STOP PROCESS CAT Is not able to FORCE the stop action even if Lookup Is Running
- 2 Change For Order & Trades Edit Panel :
  1 - After set new Qty/Price/Type values you will have an ORANGE table line that stands for "Order is going to be recreated"
  2 - If you edit Again a Ping/Pong Order and you re-confirm original values, then Recreation will be aborted and table line will change from ORANGE to WHITE
- Added a new option in Main Frame TOOLS -> Restart C.A.T. With more RAM, that allows you to restart C.A.T. using ram size from 512 to 4096 MB (According to your HW Available RAM)
- A New Panel "STOP PING" is added to the Ping-Pong Parameters Panel. You will find 6 Stop Ping Options Inside.
- CAT Is now able to find trades even if they occured on the previous OrderId (Before a Recreation).
  This is unlike to happens but sometimes exchanges are slow in return updates data
- Any Ping-Pong Order have now an internal ID. You will read in description String (CAT-XXXX/<ExchangeOrderId>)
  This is useful to trace your order inside the log even when OrderId Change and it will be useful for future features
- Load Balance from MyBalances panel is now asynchronized call (you don't have to wait until load complete, useful when exchanges are very slow)
- Added 2 Filter options : Skip Buy/Sell Orders With Price Between Best Price And Best Price - X%
  - This will allow to skip top book orders and create ping.pong inside orders book
- The Option "Merge Equal Trades Into a New One" is now TRUE By default (this is useful especially when your order is immediatedly filled with 2 or more trades)
- If an XML C.A.T. file older than 3 CAT Version is used by Current Version you will receive a suggestion message about resave it (in the general console/pop up message)


You can PM Me since Now and Start Using the New Version.
User test during beta phase could help me a lot to find some complex bug and remove them before official release.
