IMO, Mavi has the potential to become one of the future superstars for India in the T20 format. BTW, India was missing a pace bowling all rounder badly.

Future superstar? I doubt that. He's a decent bowler at best. Malik has the potential to become one of the future superstars for India IMO.

Umran Malik is capable of bowling at 150-155 kmph, but apart from that his wicket taking skills are not good. Raw pace may be useful to intimidate the opponents, especially while playing against weak teams such as Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. But it may not work against the pig-3 teams, especially if he can't maintain his line and length. I want to see Umran bowling against the Australian and English batsmen. Let's see who is going to win the duel. On the other hand, Mavi impressed me yesterday as he was able to perform under extreme pressure.

Sri Lanka's victory in this T20I game was lost due to some errors.  Because Sri Lanka lost all their wickets, they could not bring feedback to the game at the end.  Pathum, Theekshana, Dilshan these three games and Sri Lanka are most responsible for losing matches.  Because one got zero and the other two got 1 run.  And because of Sri Lanka's good bowling system, they lost because they lost all the wickets that ended the match.

I think there are two reasons behind Sri Lanka's defeat of the match. One is their top order batsmen could not do anything for the team. They have to go back early and another is lack of runs in 17th and 18th overs where Sri Lanka could not collect runs as expected. They collected 8 runs in the 17th over and 3 in the 18th over. In this match it was good decision to bring Axar Patel in the last over. Axar Patel finished the match with two consecutive run outs and just one run off the last ball.

Because of the rain, the condition of the field has deteriorated. Due to which the batsmen will not be able to score runs in the field.

The match between Perth and Sydney is going on right now. Perth is not performing well at all. They have collected 69 runs for the loss of five wickets in 13 overs.
That is obviously not good enough for them. And if they do not get it big total, I do not think that Sydney is going to have any trouble winning.
Especially how the tournament has recently turned out to be high scoring.

The match ended in a no result because of rain. Brisbane Heat put on 147 runs for only six wickets in only 13 overs.
It was really explosive performance from them. Sadly, the match did not get played any further.

India players outstanding yesterday,  they have proved that thier new team is going to add victories for their country . First batting their middle order surprised everyone by good batting and than balling  side gave tough time to Sirlanka.  Although Sirlanka tried hard to chase the score but wickets were not in their control that went wrong with them.

No doubt early quick wickets done damage for them, but they fight back with good performance from captain Shanaka with the help from Wanindu Hasaranga and Chamika Karunaratne specially Karunaratne done good job in last few overs but sadly unable to handle situation clearly in last over even he hit six on the third ball of 20th over which give clearly advantage to Sri Lanka but Axer Patel keep his cool which helps him for giving narrow win to his team by just 2 runs.

Sri Lanka lost their match in last three balls because while they have eight runs from first three balls things looking easy, but sadly they are unable to take advantage and cool Indians keep their nerve which helps them for having this thrilling win and lead in this series.

Thunders having their fourth consecutive win against leaders Scorchers which give them second spot in league table after winning the toss Scorchers elect to bat which was good decision, but early wickets give them setback even captain Ashton Turner play an impressive inning which give them 142 runs on board sadly no other batsman able to give him good support with good bowling from Chris Green and Nathan McAndrew helps Thunders for having decent target.
 
While chasing Thunders also lost quick wickets of Hales and Rossouw as Jhye Richardson give early break through to his team but this all was not helpful as Oliver Davies and Alex Ross play hammering inning which helps them for reaching target at the end of 17th over.

Lucky because it's high scoring ground and it's almost impossible to defend a 160-ish score here, it happened only 2 times when the score was 200+ and i suppose 190+.

I agree with you. Indians bowled well, but they were very lucky. And so they won. The pitch was not bowling-friendly. The batsmen could easily score runs. Before the start of the match, my guess was that we would see at least 180-plus runs. But they scored only 162 runs. Still they won.

In the second match as well, India is likely to continue the winning streak. But the batsmen must bat more carefully. Sri Lanka is in good form. If India is not able to give a big target in the next match too then they will not be able to win.

The crucial aspect is that the fast bowlers Shivam Mavi and Umran Malik were able to break partnerships whenever it looked promising. Shivam Mavi is having experience playing in the IPL and hopefully we will see Kamlesh Nagarkoti in the team as well in the future.

The crucial aspect is that the fast bowlers Shivam Mavi and Umran Malik were able to break partnerships whenever it looked promising. Their collection was only 35 runs in the first 5 overs of the power play. The top order players batted like fools. However, the second match looks to be more competitive.

India won the match despite the average total in first innings and they should be happy about that. But the victory margin was only 2 runs. If they perform like this against one of the weakest test teams (that too at home), then how they will fare against the pig 3? Also, Samson was injured during last match. Now they have called up the injured Jitesh Sharma. Samson fans were celebrating in Twitter after Rishabh Pant got injured and now their own guy is out of action as a result of an injury to his knee. I don't know whether Jitesh will get any chances, as Ishan Kishan is likely to be the first-choice keeper.

The second T20 match between these two countries will be played today. India won the last match due to impressive bowling and fielding but they are struggling will the batting. I hope today they work on their weakness. Pathetic performance by Sanju Samson dropped an easy catch and did not even bat well. If he continues like this then he might get dropped permanently. Subhman Gill's debut match was a disaster. If he wants to permanent his berth in the T20 squad he needs to play big innings. I have a feeling that they both get dropped in today's match.

Srilanka losing an easy match earlier would have realised that they need to work a lot on their batting. They also need batters who can start a partnership rather than going after the bowlers. If they lose today they would lose the series. I am expecting another close encounter between these two today.

^^^ I was also surprised when I heard about Jitesh Sharma. He plays for Vidarbha as a wicket keeper and represents Punjab Kings in the IPL. But the joke is that he is not a regular in either of the two teams. Bhanuka Rajapaksa and Prabhsimran Singh are the first choice keepers for the Kings, while Vidarbha mostly rely on Akshay Wadkar. I don't know from where the name of Jitesh suddenly came up for consideration. To be frank I was expecting that either KS Bharat or Anuj Rawat maybe named as the replacement for Sanju Samson.

Yeah, India done excellent bowling, but they have not won just because of their bowing they won just because they were lucky in yesterday game otherwise Sri Lanka done good fight, and they lost because they lost few quick early wickets and have done good job in last few overs which helps them for having lost by just two runs as they were losing quick wickets I was expecting big margin win for India but at the end just poor selection of shots give them setback, and they were unable to score five runs from their last three balls even they achieve eight runs in first three balls which was turning point for them, but last three balls completely outclass them, and they lost this match.

Adelaide Strikers won the toss and decided to bowl. Hobart Hurricanes came to bat 48 in 4 overs.  runs. So far Hobart Hurricanes have not lost any wicket. They now have a run rate of 12.00.
