The kind of cricket Prithvi playing in the last 2-3 years (domestic +IPL). His name should be on the T-20 team's roaster every single time. He didn't make many runs in the last IPL but his strike rate is way too good (average of 28 with 150 SR) and he's an opener, miles ahead of Rohit/KL/Kishan as far as attacking cricket goes. 
Average does matter but SR is more important in T-20 and the way T-20 cricket is evolving, you can't afford to bring 3-4 players in the team with 40-50 averages + 130 SR. At best you can have only 1 anchor in the team.

I believe it is time for Prithvi Shaw to be given a chance. As far as I am concerned, I believe this guy is doing well at the moment, and he has also proven his worth in recent times. In any case, I was quite surprised to learn that he did not get any chance in the upcoming Sri Lanka series that is going to take place.

There is also another thing that is always perceived to be more significant in T-20 cricket than in regular cricket, and that is the strike rate. Although 130 strike rate is actually very favorable, so I have no idea why he didn't get the chance that he deserved, as 130 strike rate is actually very positive.

Guess no one has any idea of his exclusion, there is virtually no media report or comment from the selectors whatsoever.

So if i have to take an educated guess then i believe it's related to his disciplinary behavior or he really pissed someone, which i failed to find.

Yes it's true that the many match was too close in this season of Big Bash but this match I wouldn't say that Hobart Hurricanes won the match by closely because they won the match when they have 7 wicket and 2.4 overs ball in their hand and in T20 format I think 2.4 over ball and 7 wicket in the last time it's means a lot . It's true that Adelaide Strikers also made good score but I think their bowlers and fully failed to stop opponent. I think they should immediately notice on their bowling side to improve their stand from 4 to above in the point table.

New approach and fresh squad but they still neglected Prithvi Shaw in T-20 tho.

He has proven in domestic cricket that he has the ability to score runs at a good rate but still the selectors have neglected him for both T20 & ODI series with Srilanka. I guess they are prefer players who have done well in IPL and are not considering those who have done good in domestic. Last IPL I do not remember Shaw doing good.

We see it in one way, but the cricket board looks the same thing in different ways. Prithvi Shaw is good with his performance, but there is no one to support him. The selection committee has to pick his name, but the politics might've denied him the opportunity. Until the start of the match it is possible to make changes to the squad. Now they will have a shorter league. They also renegotiated the domestic media deal. Previous deal was worth AUD 1.182 billion for 6 years, which works to 197 million per year. The new deal is for 7 years, and worth AUD 1.512 billion. This is equivalent to 216 million per year or USD 147 million. On paper it looks good.. but I am afraid that they were expecting more.

Yes, i also hear about the new agreement. Cricket Australia is moving into a new deal as part of the latest broadcast deal. The upcoming 2024-25 season will have 43 games. Foxtel and Seven West applied as media partners for the deal and Australia Cricket agreed. Cricket Australia will be under this agreement for the next 7 years.

Most of us know that the BBL league in Australian cricket had 43 games in the 2017–18 edition, it was later expanded. All Australian men's home Tests and women's internationals have been broadcast on Seven and Foxtel since 2018 and will continue to do so from 2024–2031.
But this new deal makes it very clear that Australia's Big Bash is not going to be very profitable. The number of matches are reduce in their new agreement, the new contract is being executed with the aim of making the league more attractive to the viewers.

Yes their are less prominent players of Australia playing for big bash league that's mainly  due to low salaries as you have mentioned and the quality is not up to the mark too. Definitely viewership is also affecting in these cases . Australian Ayers should prioritise their domestic leagues first rather than playing for international leagues.  Sometimes it's about ne of your country not about money.

I was surprised to see the performance of the Melbourne Stars team. They have already lost 9 wickets while playing the target of 141 runs. Is it possible to expect anything big from them? They lost most of the wickets to collect only 87 runs. I would never have expected positive in this season by the team. I was hopeful at the start of the match that Melbourne Stars would have an easy win in today's match but that was not the case. In T20 cricket I know that I have to face any situation. However, the kind of batting that was done in yesterday's match was really appreciable. Both teams managed to score 200 plus runs.

Why give an in form batter a vice captain responsibility. Such responsibility are the reason why Kholi is struggling past couple of years. When you an inform batter like SKY loses his wicket because of a silly shot then it means the pressure of a vice captain unable to accelerate the run rate and score has overtook his ability as a good batter. Such responsibility was the reason Sachin and Virat failed as captain.

India make two changes in the T20s with Virat Kohli and Pant dropped from the squad for poor performances.  Hardik Pandya and Ishan Krishan have been given a chance in the team.
In the beginning, the Indian team was under a lot of pressure, but now they are batting somewhat without pressure.  However, except for Ishan Kishan, none of the other three batsmen couldn't reach the double-digit quota.  Surya Kumar Yadav, Shubman Gill, Sanju Samson all three batters collected respectively 7,7&5 runs .

What is with Sanju Samson? He threw his wicket! It shows how much pressure this guy was when he came to bat in the middle order. Ishan Kishan & Hardik Pandya are out on the field and I feel they might be able to get India a good total on the board for Srilanka to chase. The pitch seems to favour spinners more than the pacers.

Indian opening batter failed to hold wickets to score a big target, now Thier first 5 batter has been dismissed by SiriLankan bowler, Ishan Kishan , and Hardik score little bit decent score while the other three batter didn't do good, now India has five dismissal with 149 runs in 19th over, now hooda and Patel are on crease hope they will de Thier best to build a big target for SiriLanka to chase.
