Pakistan seems to getting worse with every passing second. At present, it feels like both Pakistan and Sri Lanka have slipped into the bottom end of the ranking spectrum. The gap between teams like India, Australia etc and these teams continues to rise rapidly across all formats.

Pakistan has lost its touch of playing cricket lately that's what I was able to understand when I saw them playing yesterday. I guess Pakistani players are pretty much confused with the format they have no clue what they are doing on the field.

I think they will perform in the same manner in the upcoming T20 series too.

Your first matter is right they are out of touch but second is not right as they are confuse with this format as they are already won world cup in this format right now they have few inner problems so this is really creating hurting them badly Azhar Ali fail to do any good in test series and now Babar first time captain have no idea how to use bowlers so selectors are completely responsible for this all if they want to change then must give test to Azhar Ali and both short formats to Sarfraz and his deputy could be Babar for some training can bring some better results.

May be they are calculating ZC existing assets as criteria of being richie board? but that can be said for other boards as well, not sure about anything so in the end i remain confused...

Final match of the T20 is set to be played today again at Manchester and expecting again the high scoring game like last time. Pakistan will need to win this match to level the series and they dint performed that bad in last match as the match result was decided in the last over. I do expect them today to be back in the game with some scintillating performances.

You are expecting way too much from Pakistan. This is the same side that botched the first test and lost their last T-20 easily even though they posted a big score. How do you expect them to win if they can't defend a big score? Their bowling department is seriously lacking these days.

The new captaincy changes are not helping much. This series belongs to England while Pakistan needs to focus on some serious team restructuring.

Twenty/20 is unpredictable game and you cannot expect good result in every match even Paksitan done good score but fail to defend this in first match but still series is alive and any result can happen if today we have full match then surely its going to good and entertaining match because both teams have few good talented players and they can change things very quickly with in few balls so I am feeling Pakistan still can win this match even have some issues in different departments.

I checked the articles and it seems that the original article was from Yahoo News and the other media outlets have plagiarized it from that source. The numbers given in that article can't be accurate. Because ZC gets almost all of its revenue from the ICC and they have hardly any other source of funds. They don't even have a TV broadcaster the last time I checked.

He's new in Skipper's role so give it some time, Babar do have fair amount of game awareness as batsman so he should be okay after few series.

BCCI will run the IPL at any cost. Even if the whole squad of a team gets infected the will cancel the team and will run the tournament with the remaining teams, I think.

How selfish would that be from the BCCI if they keep on insisting on the IPL and do not care about the players health and do not take covid-19 infection / threat seriously ? Situation is tough but shutting down the business is not the right path, the best everyone can do is cut their losses and make best out of it and that's what BCCI is trying to do in this IPL season.

They might not go bankrupt but domestic players salary would take a hit for sure, remember almost all cricket boards are cutting salaries but BCCI end up deciding that they are not going to do that, in fact they paid the past due in full without any second thought.

As far as T-20 WC is concern.. IMO one of the major reason was CA chickened out and they put their foot down. In their point of view hosting WC was not very economical sustainable in the pandemic as we already knows the ICC gets the lion share in ICC tournament revenue, host country benefits indirectly but in current situation we can't expect that to happen.

I agree IPL doesn't comes close when comparing with the WC event in terms of popularity but we can't deny the fact that IPL is worth way more than all ICC tournament put together. You don't have to believe me just check the auction of media rights.

Then we had one more factor Ind-Aus series. For CA securing the India's tour was more important. You might ask, why? Simply because of revenue.... (You scratch my back, will scratch yours) as simple as that.

currently still its very risky with 30% because no vaccine and peoples are facing some serious troubles due to this if they are just giving on tv its much better and as Gaguly saying this is going to be good for them as more rating more good result for them right now we have US Open which is going without crowed so they also can go like this.

What is the point in allowing the crowd, even if it is 30%? This is a T20 tournament, and very often the ball will land among the viewers. The ground-staff may clean it every time, but even then it is not going to be 100% secure. If they allow the crowd, then it is going to be a historic blunder.

BTW, anyone watching the 3rd match between England and Pakistan? England will be fielding first, and the news from Pakistan is that 19-year old Haider Ali will make his debut today. Apart from Haider, Sarfaraz Ahmed and Wahab Riaz are also included in the playing XI this time.

Apart from IPL only Big bash league got popularity but not sure is this a tournament which involves cash a lot like IPL but surely it helped lot of players to get into international career even IPL auction bids were increased based on that league.
