Obviously yes, there is just like a 10% chance that India could qualify for the SEMIS which is dependent upon NewZealnad either losing from Afghanistan which is unlikely or New Zealand losing to Namibia which is practically too difficult, even though they struggled a bit today against Scotland but managed to win the match comfortably at the end so I doubt New Zealand would lose any of the matches also if it does lose, the second requirement is that it has to lose with a good enough margin so that India's NRR too lands up above both NZ and Afghanistan. Obviously the whole country wants this to happen but practically it might be impossible.

haha I love how jealous the whole of Pakistan is of the popularity of BCCI.    I hope post this jealousy they are able to introspect into the geopolitics of their own country and try not to give any safe havens to anarchist organizations. I wonder how the Bangladeshi fans are now? As far as I know, the people of Bangladesh and India are very passionate about cricket. The main sport of their country is cricket. After Bangladesh's poor performance, their coach should be fired. The Bangladesh team has not got anything good from this coach. The coach himself should step down after such a terrible performance of the team.

A disappointing result throughout the tournament, a truly disgusting performance from the team as a whole. There is no defense for all the losses suffered by Bangladesh's team, and they alone are responsible for all the upcoming dismal events. Team management and team members must undergo serious change. Otherwise, Bangladesh will fall even further. I demand the sacking of the coach immediately. The tournament was just an absolute nightmare.

I am surprised to see Bangladesh performing so badly, I was expecting they would beat atleast couple of top-8 teams, even though their qualification into semis was difficult I always thought they would give a very tough fight, but currently the team is playing as good as Namibia/ Scotland in the other group. The tragedy of events started when West Indies won the toss and elected to field in a really good pitch and Sri Lanka was able to score a good total on the board and they played like they had nothing to loose as they are already packing home and with a huge target on board i knew it was an impossible task.

Only Nicholas Pooran and Shimron Hetmyer played and the rest of the famed batting line up failed to score double digits, any contribution from any other players and they would have won the match.

I don't know why, but for some reason I believed West Indies will win the match even after looking the score from Sri Lanka. For West Indies the wickets started to fall, but I believed strong on the players of West Indies. From the beginning to the last they've got batting order.

The match turned completely when the middle order weren't able to make a partnership. In particular Russell and Pollard didn't make any contribution. If they managed to score 30-40  runs in 20 balls the match could've gone even close or given a win for West Indies.

If India is batting first, then I expect them to win by >100 runs.

I agree with you too. If India bat first, they will win by more than 100 runs. They have this ability. My guess is that in today's match, India will get a chance to bat first, even if Scotland wins the toss, they will decide to bowl first. India will bat first, and if their luck is good, India will give a huge target of more than 210 runs and Scotland will lose all their wickets before 100 runs. Lets see what will happen.

Despite being eliminated, Sri Lanka's performance throughout the T20 tournament was impressive. Hasaranga is poised to become a major cricketing star. His performance in the shorter format is what made him the number one. Nice to see some new talent in the Sri Lankan team. Hopefully Sri Lanka will produce more great players in the future. We may see Sri Lanka winning global tournaments again in the next decade if these players live up to their potential.

Cricket is an old funny game, how can you be sure we don't see any upset in coming matches. There are many upsets missed by just few runs n wickets in this WC.

You are much better among your fellow Indians nationals who at least have confessed that BCCI send the fake emails. No one is jealous of BCCI but the whole country is furious on BCCI doing such cheap acts. BCCI should be ashamed of themselves.
Secondly those attacks were in 2009 and 12 years have past by now and things have completely changed now. Try to make a better reason next time or will you use this excuse forever

Making few individual performances or wining one match does not change their tag from underdog to a consistent good team. Both of these teams showed good performances but they still need experience to finish the match with a win. Tournaments like these help them excel in future.

It is now a matter of shame that 'hosts' India will suffer an early exit from the ICC T20 World Cup 2021. The Indian cricketers have been severely criticized after two humiliating defeats in Dubai, UAE. It is almost impossible for the Indian cricket team to make the semi-finals, as they need the generosity of other teams. Afghanistan needs to win against New Zealand next, and then run rate becomes a major factor. Although the hope may still be alive, yet not handy.
