The last IPL title was won by Chennai Super Kings in 2021 season and Gujarat Titans in 2022 and LSG as runners up.  Maybe with a gap of one year we can see Chennai Super Kings win the ipl title again in 2023 season. Because this season along with the great captaincy of MS Dhoni, the team players are performing responsibly. MS Dhoni in particular has been using the few batsmen and all-rounders in the team in the right places and has already reaped many benefits from using them in the right places.  
Chennai Super Kings will face Gujarat Titans in the first qualifier match. Even if they lose the first qualifier match, these two teams will have another chance to reach the final.  Hoping that Captain Cool MS Dhoni will confirm the final in the first qualifier match against Gujarat.

Both CSK and GT are top teams of this tournament and it will be difficult to say which team will win tomorrow. On one side we have Mahi while on GT side Gill is in terrific form. The beauty of IPL qaulifier model is that top 2 teams got edge over number 3 ad 4. GT's are defending champions and thats why they have more pressure on them compared to CSK. If I have to choose one team tomorrow then I will choose CSK just because of Mahi.

I am actually very hopeful about GT winning this season's IPL trophy. They have been performing really well so far in this season's IPL. But of course, from the next stage of the IPL things are going to change a lot because the competition is going to start getting a lot harder.

I would certainly want to see a final between GT and CSK. Don't know if that is actually possible or not. But of course, I also understand people choosing CSK because Dhoni might be playing his last IPL this season. It is going to be something to see him lifting the IPL trophy again. But at the same time, I don't think if he is not able to lift the trophy it is going to be a disaster for his career as he has achieved almost everything.

Because the IPL authorities posted a video on the IPL's official Twitter page, where after the toss, a commentator asked MS Dhoni about the last IPL of his career, and he said he would come back. That means we might see one more season of MS Dhani as the captain of Chennai Super Kings.

All four teams that qualify for the playoffs qualify for the finals. Because they have made it to the playoffs by proving their superiority by fighting against all other teams. We should have no doubts about the qualification of these four teams. The playoffs are usually a battle of the best vs. the best, and in a battle of the best, whoever performs the best on the field without making any mistakes usually wins. We expect it to be a very tight match.

Rashid Khan has basically become the trump card for GT. He has been performing really well. They can expect a very good economical figure from him in almost every match. Again the only reason why I think Chennai is probably being supported a lot is because of Dhoni. Otherwise, Otherwise, I think a lot more people were going to support Gujarat instead of CSK. Of course, we are talking a lot ahead of time. We are not sure if both of them are actually going to be in the finals. But these two are certainly most likely to be in the finals.

Of course, I want to see Chennai win against Mumbai because I want to see Chennai in the finals. But it is actually hard to say which team is going to win. Because both of them are playing really well and Mumbai is chasing big totals quite easily. It is certainly going to be a high scoring match. Again I have my personal favourite but it is actually hard to say which team is going to win. At the same time if we look at the consistency of both of the teams I think we will have to say Chennai is the one who has been more consistent.

This time we have four quality teams in the playoffs. However, out of these four teams, perhaps Chennai Super Kings are the ones with the least star power. Dhoni is well past his prime, and the team is actually quite dependent on younger players such as Devon Conway, Matheesha Pathirana, Shivam Dube and Ruturaj Gaikwad. Ravindra Jadeja is the only veteran player who is performing well at this point. Their overseas signings have flopped in this season, including Ben Stokes and Moeen Ali. Toss will play a crucial role. If they bat first, then Conway-Gaikwad combination can get them to a good start. But their bowling lineup is quite inexperienced, and may not be able to contain players such as Hardik Pandya and Shubman Gill.

It is very hard to predict T20 and when you have two best team playing against it becomes impossible to predict. A part of brain supports GT and the other part supports MSD. I have a feeling that this might be the last season for him. He is still very fit and active on the ground , still no one knows untill he says. CSK might win today and I think they might pick up the cup for this season.

Currently, Hardik Pandya is the vice-captain of India T20 team for Gujarat when he first got the captaincy, since then he has been in the discussion about his captaincy and due to his excellent captaincy, BCCI announced him as the vice-captain of India T20 team. And as successful as Hardik Pandya was with his captaincy last season, he is as successful this season as well. 
Maybe very soon he will lead the India T20 team. 

Like you I am also a MS Dhoni fan. I am always impressed especially with his captaincy. And I believe there is no second captain like him.
