It's halftime already.

It's been all Italy over the first 45 minutes, they players just lacked the cutting edge. Insigne with a couple of chances but they're not converting any of the chances.

I'd agree that Italy will eventually find a breakthrough in the 2nd half, provided they're able to keep the pressure on the Turkey's defense.

Italy scored the leading goal, but i agree with you, i have seen that happen so many times, they can steal a goal at anytime, a penalty or a corner kick, they can take advantages from very small mistakes, this match seems to be going to Italy though, since i think they're going to win this year's title.

The Turkey side is a very slow team,no pace, they are playing like Mourinho is their coach, everybody behind the ball. The key players are not making an prolific move in the game. I don’t understand what the tactic is.

Finally Italy won 2-0 from an own goal by M.Demiral Turkey in the 53rd minute and C. Immobile in the 66th minute, Italy's game that dominated and continued to attack, making Turkey overwhelmed.

Unfortunately in the first half of the 21st minute, it was clear the Turkish players had handball and Italy asked for a penalty but the referee ignored it and continued the match, it seemed the referee was unsportsmanlike.

Yeah It is all Italy game and Turkey performance was overestimated prior to the match. Italy scored their second goal, 2-0, and I do think that Italy can score another one..

And immobile has added to the goal tally, am not expecting any other Goal, I think the Italian team would be far from unsatisfied with the score line, heartbreaking for turkey who held on to a draw in the first half, second half became their breakpoint, there is still room for them to turn around as the tournament progresses but this first game win is always a much needed moral booster.

I just don't see them scoring even once. Turkey is playing extremely poorly against Italy in terms of shots (1 shot 0 shot on target vs Italy 23 shots 7 shots on targets in the 72' minute)

These odds do not make sense to me one bit. I mean I get that Italy is the favorites today but the reality is that Turkey beat France, Netherlands, Norway and other teams and they rested up a bit and ready to go, I get that Italy could be favorites but I do not think that they are THIS much favorites. You know what these odds tell me? The score should be like 4-0 in order for me to believe these odds, normally even with 4.00 or so odds you see a team wildly worse, like City playing Watford type of bad situation must happen in order for these odds, it is like Bayern playing Schalke type of odds, even then it wasn't this bad I think.

So, to see these odds on a team that managed to beat 3 other high level national teams with the same roster, I do not know. It is still reasonable to bet on Italy because they are favorites but with these odds? I may throw in some money at Turkey to win as well, even if I lose I will make that back from Italy bet, but if I win then I win a ton.

In the first half Italy managed to dominate the game by continuing to launch attacks towards Turkey but the solid layered defense made by the Turkish players made it very difficult for Italy to score goals, and unfortunately an own goal that occurred in the second half became the start of disaster for Turkey, which played pretty well in my opinion tonight.

Well Turkey 🇹🇷 isn’t part of Europe really so can’t be that bothered. Dominating performance by Italy. The first half low block by Turkey kept them out from conceding goals but their second half attack minded approach left their defense open for Berardi, Immobile and Insigne to capitalize.

Yes, I don't usually do that. But Turkey simply played badly in the first half and made no effort to take a point or even three points. Italy deserved to win the game 3 to 0 in the end. Turkey had just one shot on goal in the whole game. I think that says it all.

In the opening Italy won because it deserved and attacked and advanced and thought of consolidating progress and was not satisfied with just a goal.
Turkey defended so much that it was no longer able to get out after receiving the goal and when it tried to leave spaces and made mistakes it was punished with two goals I expected more from them on the offensive side but there was no actual threat to Donnarumma had nothing to do in the game. Thumbs up for Mancini getting the team to working together.

So does it makes sense for you right now after the match is over? Its 0-3 for Italy, didnt watch the game but I can tell from statistics that Turkey was totally destroyed by Italy. The bookies definitely have done their research otherwise they wouldnt offer such odds.

Its still kinda early to say this but Italy is on a whole another level compared with Switzerland and Wales. Turkey might be able to get some points from the other 2 games so they might still be able to get to the next stage

Italy completely dominated the game, the score is not surprising. Türkiye didn't play well, although Italy didn't give their %100 performance they won it easily. There were some controversial referee decisions especially in first half. But in the end the deserved one got 3 points. Italy was favorite and didn't do any mistake. Türkiye need to beat Wales now, even a draw is not enough. Italy will probably finish this group in first place.
