First half was kinda boring but second half changed everything in Netherlands - Ukraine match. Ukraine almost made a great comeback with two beautiful goals but Dumfries said the last word. Yarmolenko's goal was the best one in the tournament so far. Generally Netherlands was better side but Ukraine showed us some good football too. Who could think we watch five goals after that first half though? It was a great game overall.

Today there were generally nice games where you never really knew or suspected how they would end. Some were decided only at the end and the outcome was very difficult to predict. It is very good that there are spectators again and that the games are unexpectedly interesting.

It was best game in EURO 2020 so far without any doubts. 5 goals in second half! If in 1st half Ukraine goalkeeper Bushchan was hero, 2nd half wasn't so good for him. These 2 goals maybe wasn't his mistake, but he didn't helped there too.

Yes it was really an entertaining and fun games ukraine team managed to get back after a 2 0 but in the end the experience and strength of netherland team was superior they should not be ashamed they put up quite a game and netherland team need to correct the deffensive mistakes if they want to fight for the tittle.

Can we all agree that the game between Holland and Ukraine was the best one so far ? I mean Hollan scored twice in 6 minutes and Ukraine scored twice in 4 minutes. Also the goal scored from Ukraine was absolute amazing with the ball going perfectly into the right corner giving 0 changes for the keeper.  In the end , the win came for the win who played more aggressive and more offensive football.

I agree! It is the best game so far indeed and I agree too about Yarmolenko goal being one of the best until now, it was unstoppable!
With the start of the first period I was feeling like Turkey scenario will be repeated but Ukraine made an amazing draw with fast 2 goals. Unfortunately they weren't lucky to grab any point. A revision of their gameplay is needed to unleash the potentials of that team...

What a match today Netherlands v Ukraine, I didnt bet on this one, I was half thinking
of a draw........

I thought it would be an easy game for Netherlands but Ukraine was keeping up with Netherlands. I totally have no clue regarding international games but considering that bookies had Netherlands on around 1.50 , it kinda means that they are the favourites to win this game but in fact they won only with a close score.

It was an interesting game though, didnt watch the full game but I can totally tell that it was a great game from the highlights of the game

Finally Austria finished the game with a win exactly as I expected indeed at half time it seems more difficult because both teams read each other's game
I also have no doubts saying Austria got lucky towards the end of the game they like getting fire and scoring 2 goals.

Austria had a great finish to the match and could even have scored more. Austria wanted to win more and with their attacking actions secured the desired result. With all due respect to North Macedonia, the most it could achieve was only a draw. England and Croatia gave out a rather boring match with England's game advantage, but I would not be very surprised if Croatia equalized and snatched a draw, because 1-0 is a very slippery score and can bring a lot of surprises to the leading team. For the Netherlands team, missing out on a win can later hurt both in terms of morale and standings, so it's good for them that they still got the win. Ukraine does not need to lose heart and systematically prepare for the next meetings.

I hope to see a match like this again in the next match I'm not a supporter of both teams but I get tense while watching it

Never expected Ukraine to give such a tough challenge to the Netherlands. I was thinking that their good old days are well over with the retirement of players such as Andriy Shevchenko and Andriy Voronin. But players such as Andriy Yarmolenko, Roman Yaremchuk and Oleksandr Zinchenko have been able to fill the vacuum. Have to say that they put up a very strong display against one of the tournament favorites, unlike their arch rivals Russia, who were pathetic against Belgium a day before.

Of course this is a tough decision for him he is still young enough to be able to continue his career in both league and for national team. However, his health is the most importance, as he has a family that needs him. All the best for him

If the doctors tell him that it is safe enough for him to play football, then I don't think that he should retire. From what I heard, he has no previous history of any cardiac issues and he is too young to have further complications. But I understand that proper diagnostics may take a few months time. The most important thing is that he should decide on the future course of action after a lot of careful thinking and planning. He should take the decision that suits him the most. He is at his peak form, and in case he decides to retire, then it will be a great loss to the Danish football.

I also see it as a tough decision.

Continuing his career could be a rather foolish decision; but on another hand he will still have to do sports in order to stay healthy.
And he probably loves his job too 

But like with anything else, he has to decide for himself.
I'd add that probably he has contracts still running and may be difficult to just stop; so the real decision may happen only after those contracts end.

I don't know if it's very likely. A sports cardiologist in the UK has said that if Eriksen were still at a UK club, he wouldn't be allowed to play again. Obviously other countries are different, and have their own medical authorities, but I'd be surprised if he played again.

Congratulations on Austria's well-deserved victory. While the match was balanced, they broke the game with the second goal. Then came the third goal. Two important events took place in this match. The first is Austria's first win at the European championships. The other is Pandev's first goal for his country in the European Championship.  Pandev scored his first goal in the tournament that Macedonia participated for the first time. Yesterday we had an easy day... I made nice money betting on favorites! But today I think it will be a bit different! I expect at least one surprise, but I am not sure who can be that surprise! Is it Sweeden? Or maybe Slovakia can surprise Poland? And I am totally not sure what to expect from Scotland vs Czech! Tricky day...

The Netherlands-Ukraine match yesterday was great. It was a great match to watch. The Netherlands almost finished in a draw. Yarmolenko scored an excellent goal. If Dumfries had not scored in the 85th minute, this match would have been a draw. It was a good start for the oranges.

Yesterday's match between the Netherlands and Ukraine was great to watch. Even the first half, despite the fact that without goals, was very interesting. And the other half is exactly what we love football for. Lots of great moves, twists and beautiful goals. The Netherlands performed at their decent level, and Ukraine performed surprisingly well. I think that the players of coach Andrei Shevchenko, despite the defeat, can safely think about advancing to the next phase of the tournament.
