A good result for Portugal 3-0 really I didn't expect consecutive goals in the last 6 minutes is a miracle today no one guessed right?

Raphael Guerrero's first goal was the key to where Hungary's destruction began to show. Only 3 minute later Hungary had to accept the fact that Ronaldo had scored a penalty and 5 minute later they had to be satisfied and resigned to Ronaldo's second goal. Congratulation to Portugal, they did it perfectly despite being late. Ronaldo is a player who deserves the MVP in that game in my opinion.

France - Germany, loading!

It's a tough game for both team. France and Germany are two team that have more potential to reach the final than any other country in my opinion. I feel France will win in the first leg and they draw in the second. IMO 1-0 is enough to get 3 point for France. 5 minute before kick off.

Hungary played well until last 6-7 minutes. Portugal scored 3 goals in last 6 minutes.

North Macedonia also made the same mistake in their match against Austria. They had a meltdown in the last 20 minutes after playing so well until then, and this allowed Austria to score two goals. On the other hand, Sweden in their match against Spain held on to the last minute without allowing the opponents to score a goal. Perhaps this was due to inexperience. Both North Macedonia and Hungary had relatively inexperienced squads. On the other hand, Sweden had a number of veteran players who know how to handle pressure situations.

So much for my 1-1 draw gamble on Hungary - Portugal   At least I had the outcome (draw) right the first 80 mins.

I can't imagine if France loses to Germany I see the French Line Up is quite strong with some famous players in Europe with the highest clubs, this should be a big force for France to be able to become champions and beat Germany tonight.
I think my prediction is that I can win by a thin margin. For me, Germany is not an easy opponent, but difficult to beat.

Kylian Mbappe looking good, but support is lacking from the other players within the French squad. My prediction right now is that Mbappe will be scoring the first goal of the match.

To be honest, I do not expect an outstanding performance from Germany in this championship. Germany is losing ground very quickly. Maybe it's time to change the main players and prepare the national team for the World Cup. I hope Flick will be able to play attacking football, there are players for this.

Spain and Sweden game was really fun to watch there were ton of great positions and its sad that both teams failed to score but it is good that they had a draw, it was totally a 2-2 type of game if you looked at the positions and not the score. France vs Germany is another key game, it is really a shocking fact that they are in the same group but two teams go up the groups so its fine, I think it will be a sad group for portugal and hungary but rarer things happened in football so if one day I wake up and someone tells me "france and germany is eleminated, portugal and hungary is moving to next stage" I would be surprised a bit but I wouldn't say its impossible in the world of football neither.

This is why this is a very important game, hence why the draw is such low odds compared to most other games, there is really no team clearly better, the highest odd for france is 2.74 and lowest for germany is 2.74, think about that.

There is only about 25 minutes plus stoppage time to go, France are still ahead by the lone goal, but Germany have been the better side since the 2nd half.

Mbappe just seemed to have doubled the lead France with their first real attempt in the 2nd half, but it's been ruled out for offside.

and this is what's happening right now, France just had a goal disallowed for offside, and Germany are attacking really well and they seem like they want at least a draw, there will be another goal in this match for sure, i don't know who's going to score though, i am leaning more towards Germany.

Currently viewing the France vs Germany fixtures with France beating Germany by a goal to nothing .France seems to be the defensive side so far with Germany being more offensive as expected with them being the loosing side. I'm just wondering how France could keep that up, at actually defending there 1 goal win so far. They seem to be handling it well though, depending on a counter attack for offence.

Jeez! Kylan Mbappe just got his goal cancelled for an offside. It was too obvious though but the way he curved the ball was just too perfect. Germany can still make a goal out of this game with the way its going.

Well deserved France win. Germany looked disappointing. France defense was very solid today, they didn't let Germany to make even 1 shot on target. Even Griezmann was working on defense when it was needed. Maybe France didn't created a lot themselves, but quality of their game was better

I think france deserved that win as they just had more good chances to score than germany and they even scored two more goals that were pretty close offside and therefore did not count and rightfully so. Of course it is unlucky for germany that the game was decided by an own goal but it is what it is. Germany had more ball possesion but that was mostly in areas that were not really dangerous to france. The game was pretty close overall and it could have also ended in a draw so it was definitely not a cakewalk for france as some people, also here in this forum, said before the match. I hope that germany starts with sane in the next game as havertz played pretty unlucky today.
