As improbable as it is, I'm determined to bet against Portugal.

Only -10 minute left and the score is still 0-0. Portugal have almost 70% possession but they haven't managed to score a single goal against Hongary. Of course this is quite surprising because they are a team that is far superior to Hungary. It seem Hongary put up a pretty strong today against Portugal and they will manage to get 1 point if the score hold up until the end of the match.

Cannot wait for tonight's match between France and Germany.
Looking at the bookies, France should be able to win the match but I think this time Germany will prevail. The Allianz Arena is going to be their unfair advantage if you ask me. Playing in Germany might have a huge effect on the Germans. I know France is superior but I would not underestimate that.

Hungary - Portugal is that game where final result don't reflect game. Yeah, Portugal were better today, but they only managed to score first goal on 84th minute. And just few moments ago Hungary scored goal, but there was obvious offside and referee saw it.
And that atmosphere with 100% full stadium, wow, how I missed such things.
Now Germany - France is next game. I'm not going to predict something, I'll just enjoy football of two amazing teams.

Portugal has all the conditions to win. Hungary will certainly try to play counterattack and try to surprise.

It was not easy for Portugal.
Hungary was always on the lookout for the counterattack. He even scored a goal, which was disallowed correctly.
With 70% possession of the ball, Portugal's victory was fair, and 3 goals will go a long way to get to the next stage.

I switched off the TV at the 80th minute because I made some food. Congratulations to those who bet something like more than 2.5 goals in the second half! I didn't even see the goals yet. Waiting for Youtube replays.

As for Germany vs. France, reading the names on both sides shows that both have strong team, but see France as being the better team. However, one big plus could be that the game takes place in the Allianz Arena.

Disastrous for Hungary in 10 minute before the match ended. They conceded 3 goals and it was quite sad after 80+ goalless struggles for both team. Portugal is one of the most likely to win in Group F against Hungary after Germany and France. But I don't think they will qualify for the next round. I hope I didn't guess wrong.

By the way, I hope France wins today against Germany. This has to be the biggest match for all football lovers in the world. 2-0 for France win.

For a guy his age, definitely not bad. I felt he was slowing down his team most of this match though, but his second goal of the night, well worth keeping him on the field, can't say he hasn't still the killer's touch, and some icy cool dribbling to boot. Worthy opener for the next match, and I hope it lives up to its billing, as I've not really been entertained by the so-called favourites so far!

Disastrous for Hungary in 10 minute before the match ended. They conceded 3 goals and it was quite sad after 80+ goalless struggles for both team.

Boring first half with Hungary players playing most of the time in their part of the field, defense defense defense and very disastrous counterattack with almost one serious attempt which wasn't good either.. Portugal missed 2 very easy goals.
Second half wasn't better, except Hungary attacked a bit more then in the last 10 minutes everything changed. Congrats to Portugal. You cannot expect more than 1 point with full defensive game. Differences between the two teams are obvious.

North Macedonia also made the same mistake in their match against Austria. They had a meltdown in the last 20 minutes after playing so well until then, and this allowed Austria to score two goals. On the other hand, Sweden in their match against Spain held on to the last minute without allowing the opponents to score a goal. Perhaps this was due to inexperience. Both North Macedonia and Hungary had relatively inexperienced squads. On the other hand, Sweden had a number of veteran players who know how to handle pressure situations.
