For sure it is not a Benchmark and thats not what a i meant , but it has shown that they playing better together as on the last game they have played.
The match against France will be not a test , it is already the keygame for both teams in this Group.
Who will win this game has for sure some advantages for the next game and games .

It's pretty safe to say that the winner of the France vs. Germany match will end up winning the group. Even though I am of course in favor of the German national team, I think that the French are unfortunately a bit stronger. Their performance over the last few years has been simply outstanding and they are the favorite to win the title.

Nevertheless, we can hope that after the victory against Latvia, the German national team will be motivated enough to make it far in the tournament. We can be excited about what will happen next Tuesday.

In my opinion, the result of the match between Germany and Latvia cannot be used as a benchmark to say if the German team is playing well at the moment, because Latvia is a team that does have a fairly far level compared to Germany which is currently ranked 13th in FIFA. The match against France on June 16 will be a real test for the German team whether or not it is worthy or not to be a candidate for this Euro 2020.

Germany vs France match was a decisive match for Germany because they were part of the group with Portugal and Hungary, for Germany victory would be very important against France and Portugal, so Germany would find it easier to face the last match against Hungary and that's why I said if the initial match against France is a real test for the German team (regardless of what the your opinion is about the match ), because if in that match Germany loses of course it will lower their mentality in facing the next match.

I hope that they after the win yesterday really motivated for the game against France , and maybe its a bonus that they play in Munich.
Looking excited forward to that game and it will be the intresting game in the first phase , its already a final match.
It will be hard to beat them but all is possible , specialy on games in the EM and WM.

Do you really think the German team can win against France? Look at the squad in France, lots of star players. On the other hand, the German squad is not very strong. Moreover, Germany's performance against any strong team is not pleasant. Germany lost 6-0 to Spain, and against Switzerland, they did draw by 3-3. I think Germany will play with the goal of drawing this match.

It is great that the matches will be held in 12 different cities. If this was in a single country, maybe it would be safer since we are in the process of pandemic. However, I still think that the cities taking part in this championship will be completely safe. I think Italy will beat Turkey in the first match.

Even now the majority of the population remains unvaccinated in the EU, with only a small fraction having received both the doses. For example in Germany, 22% have been fully vaccinated and another 24% has received one dose of the vaccine. For UEFA, there is no question of affordability. They can afford to spend millions on the vaccine. But the problem is that a lot of people would oppose if the football players are included in the priority list and given a chance to get vaccinated. Because even a large proportion of those with comorbidities are yet to receive vaccine doses in the EU.

It was a really Goal festival yesterday from the German Team against Lettland with a 7 to 1 scored goals .
Also it was the 100th Game for Manuel Neuer as goalkeeper in the german National Team .
I just saw the review and the goals was scored very good and it looks like they have found together as a team .

Training games... not much too look for in those games even if sometimes Germany seems to play that way with stronger teams too.

Whatever, Germany seems to be prepared with a relatively convincing win last night in the last preparation game, but now the real deals are waiting with France and Portugal.

Personally, I think Joachim Löw should start with the same lineup against France after the strong game yesterday. Thomas Müller and Kai Haverts, in particular, put in a very good performance yesterday and made a significant impact on the game. I'm really excited to see how the German national team will perform at the European Championship.

This is actually not what he said I listened to the interview and he said nothing is set in stone and there is still a variety of considerations to be made. If he takes out Havertz and let's Sane play I will switch off my TV. Löw sucks anyway, but that would be a disaster. Quite unfortunate to see Benzema in this situation, this could be another devastating return for him, he played the first game I was expecting him to be benched in the second game, he was not managed and I blame the coach for it. It just a few days to the EUROs and this injury could take 2 or 3 weeks which means his chances of making the final squad is hanging on the tread.

England - Croatia is another interesting game in Round 1. It is going to be played in Wembley and there are going to be limited number of supporters (max 22500). And the game is this Sunday. England are the overwhelming team here of course. I see Croatia as away from their old performance. But who knows, maybe they can make a much greater effort in this tournament. But I think that England will manage to beat them with a 1 or 2-goal difference.

@ILuckyGuyI indeed England are the favourites to win this match, but I feel they have many player’s who could be ruled out due to injuries, and even the existing one look too tired so it’s an even game for me. Furthermore if you see England last match they literally laboured to a 1 - 0 victory, hence they may not be all powerful like they look.

You may be right but I don't know whether it is very true to make predictions depending on the results of friendlies. Because they didn't have the main squad on the field fully also. I assume that they will take things much more seriously here. But this won't be an easy one for England of course.

Seems that most big countries selected very weak opponents for their last game before EURO. Well, it makes sense, I think.
Spain weren't able to play with main squad because Busquets got covid. Interesting, what if there will be covid outbreak in one of teams during EURO? And when you look at Spain U21 squad and clubs of players, quality of this team isn't much worse than main squad, so, nothing surprising that they won big.
