Huge odds on France today. Since they are my no. 1 favorites for the whole tournament, I simply can't skip this. The Germany team is really good but France has more depth, more quality and more experience.

It is a game worthy of the final, if Portugal wins against Hungary (which is expected), both teams will be under pressure to win.

After a slow start to the tournament (quality-wise), I'm really looking forward to today's games.

Anyway, you have to consider that it was Latvia they were playing with and I assume it was a club friendly?  France would the same vs Latvia with the squad they got.  And from what I’ve been reading as of late Germany is in a somewhat squad rebuild phase atm.  Dunno...  I’m actually surprised to see Muller and Kroos back still in there.  I think France has the slight edge.  

France only has a slight edge? Latvia is a weak team that even failed to qualify for the Euro cup (their current FIFA rank is 138). The 7-1 victory margin is astounding, but we need to remember that the win didn't came against a very strong team. The squad was comprised of most of the regulars, including Thomas Müller, Ilkay Gundogan and Serge Gnabry. France doesn't have such huge victory margins in their recent matches, because they are placed in Group D of world cup qualifiers, and it has strong teams such as Ukraine and Finland.

Would say that the quality and experience of both Teams are at nearly the same Level.
I expecting a draw or a close win for Germany this time but we will see it today and i hope it will be a good match to watch.

Slovakia and a few others surprised me with there playing , specialy yesterday Spain as i thought they will win there match.

I am not expecting anything less than a 3 goal margin. France is in unstoppable form right now and the current German team is no match for them. BTW, I don't know how these two teams ended up in the same group. France is currently ranked #2 by FIFA, while Germany is at #12. How these two teams can end up in the same group?

Germany is in a very strong group. Their opponents Portugal and France are very strong and these two teams are also hoping for the title. Ukraine is a really good team.

Ukraine was able to make 2 goals in 4 minutes, but the Netherlands was able to add 1 more goal at the end of the match. I think when Netherland won 2-0, they were satisfied so they let their guard down and conceded 2 goals. Luckily they had Denzem Dumfries who scored in the 85th minute. This is an evaluation for the Netherlands that they must not be careless and remain serious throughout the game. I'm not underestimating Ukraine but if the Netherlands didn't let their guard down I don't think 2 goals from Ukraine would have happened.

Spain - Sweden game was very boring. I was expecting much more than this. We saw a really few critical chances for both of the teams. But they couldn't make use of even one of them. I really wanted Sweden to score first. Because then Spain would start playing much better. But Sweden wasted very important chances.

Tell me about it, man! I also expected A LOT MORE than what we saw yesterday. Boring is the less that you can say to describe this... match. The main thing though is that Sweden manage to get 1 point from it and Spain is in a thin position. I really hope that today's big game between France - Germany, will not disappoint us... As for Hungary - Portugal, the clear favorite is Portugal and I can't see Hungary getting anything from it except a halftime draw.

Today's match between Germany and France is going to be very interesting. It's hard to predict the outcome. The fact that the match is held in Munich is definitely an advantage for the Germans. Game of the German team has been quite unpredictable recently, they can both play a great match and lose against the Macedonian team or suffer a disaster as in the match against Spain 6-0. The absence of Goretzka may be a weakening. I bet the French will win.

Germany is in a very strong group. Their opponents Portugal and France are very strong and these two teams are also hoping for the title. If Germany want to advance to the next round, they must win against either Portugal or France. And a win against these two teams will be very difficult for Germany.

Group F might be the hardest group of all groups but its pretty hard to lose in the group stage. Top two will advance to the next stage and 4 out of 6 3rd placed team will advance as well so depending on how Hungary vs Portugal match goes later today, the results for the top 3 teams from this group could be predicted. I doubt that either Spain or Germany would lose to Hungary if Portugal could win against them

The only team that will have a hard time in this group would be Hungary though

As for Hungary - Portugal, the clear favorite is Portugal and I can't see Hungary getting anything from it except a halftime draw.

There have been quite a few match upsets this round for "favorites", Poland losing 1-2 to Slovakia, Spain-Sweden draw, Wales-Switzerland draw stand out in particular. When Portugal is not thrashing clubs in the qualifier with 2+ - 0 scores, I have observed that recently they draw occasionally, e.g. Portugal 0-0 France Nations League, Portugal 2-2 vs red-card Serbia in world cup qualifiers, and most recently Portugal 0-0 Spain. There's no reason why Hungary can't at least pull a 1-1 draw considering that they have massive home advantage with the stadium's city, fans etc being something many of the squad players hold special to them.

I didn't expect Spain not to score a goal. They started the game well but didn't have a chance to score. Sweden's defence was very good and Spain could not find a solution against it. The first game without goals.
Now waiting for France - Germany.

I also think France will win. But one complicating factor is that it's always a brave decision to underestimate Germany, as historically they have always been so strong. And being the underdog means less pressure, which can act in your favour.
Maybe France will win easily, but there's also a good chance that it might not be as clear-cut as we think.

we've been wishing for such a great atmosphere for a long time. Now I'm really curious to see if the hungarian team can keep up with the 2016 european champions.

France has a lot of star players in the team. Not having star players in a team is such a problem. Similarly, having a lot of star players in a team is also a problem. The bonding between the players should be good. Otherwise, the French players will not be able to perform well against Germany. Germany experienced team. In my opinion Portugal status as defending champions will certainly make Portugal play all out in this match and of course as the favorite team to win, Portugal will also prove they are worthy to be reckoned with, Portugal advantage compared to Hungary is that they have quality players from back to front and with players Portugal talented players, of course they are more favored to get full points tonight, and as you said if Hungary have never beaten Portugal at all, but Portugal also can't underestimate the power of Hungary playing at their own home, and as far as I know they are unbeaten in 11 matches and only failed to score in one of the 15 matches played at the Puskas Arena Stadium, Budapest, although I believe Portugal can get full points but it looks like this match will be a difficult match for Portugal.
