Italy completely dominated the game, the score is not surprising. Türkiye didn't play well, although Italy didn't give their %100 performance they won it easily. There were some controversial referee decisions especially in first half. But in the end the deserved one got 3 points. Italy was favorite and didn't do any mistake. Türkiye need to beat Wales now, even a draw is not enough. Italy will probably finish this group in first place.

They changed the hand touch rule, with the new rule only the last can be a penalty but it is not sure.
If the hand follows the body moving even if it is open now it will never penalty.

Yeah the last one looked a clear penalty but referee didn't think like that. If VAR don't involve then we can't object his decision. Italy played way better and showed they are one of the favorites in this tournament, referee decisions didn't affect that reality.
In fact Turkish defense looked pretty weak, normally it was highly praised but we didn't see that successful defensive play this time.

this was a game that in the first part of the game itala wasted some opportunities to score a goal, and in the second part turkey had the misfortune of scoring in its own goal and after that it was a complete domination of italia, it seemed that italia was playing against a very low-ranking team, it was unbelievable how turkey was simply destroyed

Fun fact, this was the biggest margin of victory in the opening match of a European Championship.  

 

Turkey didn't do well, I think if they play that bad they'll hardly pass in this group

I expected lots of goals on this opening match but wasnt expecting a big win from italy was hoping that turkey can score at least one goal but the only chance they had was in the last minute of the game. They werent even close the entire match really bad play from them

I don't think anyone expected such a weak game from Turkey.
But Italy played a great game, they were always close to scoring from the start. It showed that it is one of the main favorites to win the competition. If they maintain this rhythm of play, it will be difficult for any team to beat them.

Turkey defended well enough in the first half, but it was clear that with Italy so dominant, the first goal was only a matter of time. It looks ironic enough that the first goal of the European Championship for the first time was an autogall and it was an autogall of the defender of the Italian club. From another funny statistic, I would like to note that each subsequent goal was scored after thirteen minutes.

It's funny that the remaining two teams now just have to try not to lose big when meeting with Italy and play a draw with Turkey, and they will have an advantage over her in such an outcome. Now they can play a match with Turkey in a defensive style as Turkey is in a lagging position and will be forced to attack and open up for counterattacks.

In the opening game of the tournament, Italy literally destroyed Turkey, 3-0. Turkey had a really terrible gameplay which affected them very negatively. They didn't have even one shot on target. It was a fully-deserved win for Italy and I hope that Turkey can gather themselves up. Because their squad is full of capable players actually. They should play a much more attacking football to achieve something good here.

The ogg goal from Demiral is the turning point for that match. Italy created big pressure before that goal and had some chances to score. That goal breaks the mentality for Turkey and the rest two goals only make the win looks more perfect for Italy.

Italy have their tradition with bad debut in big tournaments so this match is great for them.

Turkey played and did their best to try to have a draw before the moment of Demiral. With the pressure from Italy I think they will need very lucky to have a draw, but that goal brings a domino effect that ends with a big loss for Turkey.

i also watched the entire game on tv and can only congratulate italy on the very good result and performance. until the first goal against, turkey only stood in the back and was only focused on defending... this tactic is actually only known from the very big outsiders, and i didn't really count turkey among them

the next games will take place today:
wales - switzerland (i don't see a clear favorite here)
denmark - finland (i am curious about the newcomer finland and i keep my fingers crossed for them)
belgium - russia (here i see belgium as the winner and the favorite)

It was a great game from Italy yesterday night and a well deserved win.I think that Italy is a team who impose their game play on the other team so Turkey could not do much.Turkey has also a great squad so it will be interesting to see how they progress in the remaining games.

From today games I think the best to watch on TV is Wales vs Switzerland as both teams are of good quality and play good football.

I expected better gameplay from the Turkish players after watching their last few matches. But Turkey played very badly. I thought they would play defensively. And will try to draw. Their defenders were a complete failure. At the same time, their strikers have failed miserably. They could not make a single shot on the goalpost in the 90th minute.
