France and Germany are together in the group. Not only that, Portugal is also a particularly tricky stop. Also the reigning European champion. I think that Portugal is much better than many people think. Just look at the value of the players on the field, and I'm not just talking about Ronaldo. That young midfielder from man United is also a star. it could be easily go wrong for Germany or France to advance to the next round.

I can remember how Germany went wild at the 2018 World Cup. Then they didn't even make it through the group stage, that was an embarrassment. It's been a few months, but I can remember when they lost 6-0 to a brand new Spain. Strange, because many players of this team still play for Dortmund, Munich or other European powers. They can become European champions, but they can also just die in the group stage. France is too good, they will come a round further.

You can't be 100% sure which of these teams won't make it out of the group, or you'll have to make several bets! I'd watch the Hungary-Portugal and France-Germany matches first... Then maybe it will be clear who plays better!

Yeah it is still a gamble but France looked so strong, I think they will easily be first in the group, and Hungary likely will be last. It all comes down to Portugal and Germany. But for one of them to actually be eliminated in the first group would also mean that the #3 place in the other groups must perform exceptionally well. But you are right, it is better to wait for the first to games and then bet. I would just try to hedge my overall bet of France winning the tournament with some smaller side with very low risk.

Vaccine help you to reduce infected risk. If the population you live in have good vaccination and herd immunity, you will get lower exposure.

And yet we are talking about "honor system" in the fans at the stadium and that is the biggest risk I have seen. We are talking about 10-20 even 30 thousand people all together in a compact space and we think this is okay?

I do not understand how vaccinations would make that okay right now, because we do not know they are all vaccinated but even assuming they are all vaccinated if we have just 10-20 infected people in there, there is a possibility we could leave with 50-100 infected people after the game, considering they all go to work and have families that is at least another thousand person infected in the end. Just one game, another thousand, with 2% death rate we have 20 dead people, even at better rates we have 1-2 dead people, why? Because people wanted to go to games, THAT'S PER GAME.

My favorite team in this tournament is Portugal, but I think that the chance to take one of the first two places in this group is very small. It seems to me that France and Germany will play a draw in the match with each other, and in the matches with Hungary and Portugal they will play to win, and the mood for Portugal will be as serious as possible. Given the staffing capabilities of these teams, the chances are slim. Portugal is in a transitional period and in my opinion the next generation of players who will be able to claim the first places will be ready in 4 years not earlier.

It won't be easy but Italy are stronger and can win this match but they will have to keep their eyes on Calhanoglu and avoid fools and free kicks. He is very dangerous with his free kicks. Roberto Mancini and Italian players know well about Calhanoglu and he can decide matches with one successful free kick.

In addition, Turkey come to this Euro with a best squad they have in recent years. It can be the best Turkey squad in the last decade and they can create big surprise if Italy won't be careful.

Italy can control the match and under Mancini management, they have unbeatable record for very long time. Turkey is not a weak opponent and they can have some moments to score goals that can be equalizer or winning goal. Yup, I feel the same way. Germany looks worse than France and Portugal both on paper and on the pitch. It is the only group that has 3 teams of such calibre, some groups have only one.

Since the 4 best 3rd placed teams are going through, I expect Germany to pass the group as well though.

Nobody thinks Italy who has not lost a game in a very long time to do well? But how about a hidden team like Russia or maybe Turkey or at least to look at Belgium? You see they actually play quite well as a team rather than as individuals and occassionally you can find them play incredible games especially as they could be motivated extra by playing a big team.

I guess Turkey can make it against Italy as they have a very good Team and played well the last test games.
But when i look at Italy and ther last games i would say Italy will be doing it and to make it fix is bet they win 3 : 2 against Turkey .
