Giroud made a quattrick at Sevilla's home. Of course it was a great achievement and it surprised me enough, I only predicted the match of Sevilla - Chelsea might have a few goals with BTtS, but what happened was that there were many goals from just one player. Congratulations to both teams because after all, both of them will continue to advance to the next round. But apart from the match I am very interested in the results of the Basaksehir - Leipzig match, both teams seem to have the same ability and apply the game in the same pattern. Something that makes the match even more interesting is when they keep scoring goals in the final minutes of the match and these results make Group H keep fighting until the end, because there are 3 teams with the same points and that's very interesting.

That was much easier win for Chelsea than I expected and four goals scored for Giroud against Sevilla on their own field!

Yup, it was quite surprising. I cannot believe that Giroud can make four goals on Sevilla's home. As far as I know, Giroud has no special records in Champions League. But tonight, he made it, it was a new record for him in the highest football competition, CL. I think it is not only about he can do his best in this match but also how Frank Lampard can make a brilliant strategy for his team. It's cool!!

Good results for Chelsea, Juventus, Barcelona, and PSG. To be honest I never thought Chelsea can win big and Sevilla has a bad performance on the home stadium like that. Sevilla again shown they are only the King in Europa League.

Barcelona is on their good transition too and it is also good to see how Griezman slowly gets his confidence back. Juventus moved another step onward and Pirlo eliminate a little bit pressure with that 3 points. Do you guy pay attention on the first match in Champions League that has a female referee?

In fact, Lampard and his students did good performance with the counter attack when must play in the home stadium of Sevilla. Especially, Giroud had extremely impressive performance with Poker. I see when he switched to play for Chelsea, his playstyle is much softer than before.  He was not only play well with head but also he uses his legs very well. Fixtures for round of 16 are yet to come. The list coinlocket$ posted is the list of teams qualified for R16 from the group stage. We already had chance of watching that in October I guess but Ronaldo missed the game as he was COVID+ then.

Many teams have confirmed to qualify for the next round after passing week 5th, but different results occurred in Group B where Real Madrid, Inter Milan, Shaktar and also Borussia Mönchengladbach still have their respective chances to qualify for the next round. The last match is the determination for all teams to qualify and the hardest thing for Madrid is inevitably having to win in the last match against Borussia Mönchengladbach. For Inter Milan there is still a chance to qualify for the next round if they are able to beat Shaktar Donesk but they have to hope that Madrid can also win.

PSG practically secured qualification to the knockouts with a win at Old Trafford. Even a draw at home against Basaksehir gets them through.

The Leipzig - United game will be really interesting, Leipzig has to win in order to progress. United's defence really does not look good, I expect a high scoring game and I feel that Leipzig is a favorite here. United won 5-0 at home in their 1st group game, but it was a much closer game than the result makes it out to be.

They definitely need him to stay, and if he wasn't playing in this match, it definitely would've ended 0-0. That is not the kind of result Chelsea wants to have especially when facing their just-as-strong rival teams back home in the Premier League.

He said he would leave if they don't let him play more, and I think Chelsea should give in because they clearly need him for the Champions League games ahead of them.

Giroud is one of the best Target man in the history of football and a clinical finisher his is one of the most underrated rather striker of all time. He has proven himself at both international and club level  it would be a great loss if Chelsea lost him to another club because he wants to play just like every other players

Griroud is always underused and it's criminal that he doesn't get first team play. I thought when he left Arsenal that would change but he's always benched at Chelsea as well. I think he should go to a squad that is going to give him a first team place but I think it will be the same issue whatever big club he goes to and I'm sure that will be the case if he goes to either Juve or Inter Millan who are reportedly after him:

I don't understand how they don't play him over Ziyech and Tammy Abraham. They brought him on only for the last ten minutes against the bore draw 0-0 against Spurs last weekend.

I'm lookign forarwd to the Chelsea/Leeds game on the weekend. Hopefully Leeds don't get spanked. I'm sure they will if Giroud starts  .
