A match that shows why away wins matter. Bayern Munich beat PSG 1-0 but could not make it to the semi-finals.

There are times when the game is unpredictable, all teams want to win both at home and away. But the team that is best prepared is the winner. One of the guesses the candidate for this year's champion was eliminated. Congratulations to PSG for qualifying for more away goals. I was going to be difficult from the start for Munich, but it looks like they are quite evenly matched and have lots of chances that fail to score.

After this, Madrid is my hope to win the UCL this year. They have the advantage on goal difference at home. They drew enough to qualify. I believe Madrid can hold Liverpool. The key is they have to guard Salah tightly to move freely.

Even if Real Madrid has a high probability of passing the quarter-final, we are never able to speak at this stage.  Remember, the Roma- Barça match. Roma had lost 4-1 in the first match, but had eliminated Barcelona in the rematch. Liverpool is a very good team. It's going to be an open match for any score, even if we say it's a huge loss of advantage for Liverpool.

Also Liverpool comeback cannot be guaranteed or can’t even be ruled out, and this unpredictability is making this one of the best match to watch in champions league this season.

PSG were able to break into Bayern defense but the luck of goals weren't on their side, they missed a lot of goals too, I'm impressed to see PSG in the next round because, PSG sometimes had happen to be that they usually gets defeated after winning. Congrats to them

It’s great to watch Chelsea progress to the next round but Chelsea were relaxed immediately the added time and that’s not a good spirit for a team that wants to win the champions league.. the manager should work more on finding the back of the net

To me, I didn't find Chelsea relaxing but they have the same bad luck too for goals just as the same with PSG,

PSG were not the favored team but only by a little bit. They are still finalists as are Bayern Munich, so I still don't think it was a huge upset. If Dortmund can spring the surprise they will be the real upset. The same as in Liverpool-Real, these were also finalists from a couple of years ago so no real upset happens today even if Liverpool qualify. Best game of the night to watch for sure, but both hopefully are full of goals!

Congratulation to both; PSG and Chelsea are going to the next rounds. I'm disappointed watching Porto a bit late heating up the machines at end of time. However, I applaud the team still fighting until the end, Chelsea is enough deserving to get the achievement as a semifinalist this year.

It wasn't enough for Bayern, but that's just how it is. Chelsea played their game home dry, I hope Liverpool can turn the match around today and make it to the semi-finals, even if it will be very difficult.

City have a bigger chance of getting to the semifinals, while Liverpool is not an easy thing to get to the semifinals, indeed they only need a 2-0 win or more but it's still a question mark if tonight they can make it happen.

I think Manchester City will have a very difficult match today in Dortmund and I would not say that they are the absolute favorites in that match.
Real players will probably be tired after a tough game with Barcelona and that’s where I see a chance for Liverpool.
I think Chelsea have reached their maximum with the semi-finals of this competition and somehow I have a feeling that PSG is now the biggest favorite to win the Champions League.
Indeed, can anyone stop Mbappé and Neymar, two great players, probably currently the two best footballers in the world?

I would like to see the game Manchester City vs. PSG, both teams play very attractive and guarantee good football.

Yep, it will be a tough match if PSG against Man City in the next stage. Let's hope Man City can be the winner of the match Dortmund vs Man City in the second Leg. At least Man City gets a draw result, then they can qualify for the semi-final stage. Also, I hope Real Madrid can beat Liverpool again, so Real Madrid will qualify to the semi-final stage as well.

This is what we all expect to happen, but I don't see any upset for the match between Madrid and Chelsea, this one will go according to script will shall see Real Madrid go to the next stage though I must say, Chelsea's defense has improved and they could actually put up a good fight!

As for PSG well last night they put up a good show and got away with it because of Bayern's failure to convert those chances to goals but should they meet Manchester city am afraid they will not get away with it, I see City going through for this one!

They put bayern as favorite for the second leg tonight but if you look at the odds on who will advance into the semifinal than you can see that PSG is the clear favorite here, which of course is no surprise given the result of the first leg.
I have to say though that i can easily imagine bayern to score 3 or 4 goals tonight because they have so much quality in the offense that they can score that amount of goals against pretty much every team. They need to be way more efficient than in the first leg with their goal scoring of course because that inefficiency brought them into this bad position in the first place.
Another main factor will be the quite shaky defense of bayern this season, but if they manage to only concede one goal at max than everything is possible.

I guess the wise bets would have been on Bayern to win but PSG to progress. That would have been almost 3x win I think?

Using this logic,,, should bet on Liverpool to win 2x plus Real to progress 1.5x for another 3x bet?

if they return to play Phillips and Kabak it will be very easy for Madrid to score goals like in the first leg. I prefer Fabinho to play as a defender to
replace Phillips, because he must have more experience in blocking Madrid players attacks. If Liverpool play more discipline in defense, and play football
that relies on effectiveness. There is still a possibility that Liverpool will beat Madrid,  the problem is that it is very difficult to score two goals without

Last night's game was one of the best performance from Neymar in a long time. He was at the right place at the right time in most of the game and getting the balls as well. His footwork were right but, his targets were the once that were slight off. He played a very 8mpress8ve football last night but sadly, the game wasn't about them winning anymore. It was more of sustaining the pressure from Bayern Munich and preventing any possible come back. Though, PSG did there best in trying to net a few goals from counter attacks though.

I remember that great come back and the feeling it brought to Barcelona fans that evening. Too bad Messi still had to take most of the glory even with the fact that, it was a clear Neymar Jnr night. We hope Neymar gets to prove himself in this UCL season by winning the finals.

Liverpool biggest challenge this night is the fact that they have to keep a clean sheet if they want to qualify for the next round; they are already 2 goals down; and for every Goal that Real Madrid scores; the more difficult it is for Liverpool to go to the next round. I do no think this is likely, Real Madrid will proceed to the semi final of the champions league.

On the other end; Manchester city need to avoid defeat in Germany; because Dortmund already has an away goal to their favor; Pep team needs to score in Germany to cancel out the away goal rule; while Dortmund needs an outright victory to qualify; who do you give your support ?

After yesterday's result all my respect goes to Porto and its players. I thought they would have had no chances agaisnt Chelsea but they fought hard until the end.
Let's focus on the remaining games of the quarter finals: on paper Real and Manchester City should be able to control their games and reach the semifinals but I wouldn't be sure that's gonna be so easy.
What if these two games end in a draw?
