This is not a valid argument, IMO. In that case the Afghan players should perform poorly in the IPL as well, right? On the other hand, Rashid Khan was one of the top wicket takers in IPL, and many of the other Afghan players like Naveen ul Haq and Noor Ahmed also performed quite well. And in terms of quality, playing in IPL is much tougher when compared to playing against Sri Lanka. Not sure what happened with the Afghan national team. They need to improve their batting. It has been their weak point for quite some time now.

South Africa A  vs  Srilanka A

I was watching the Sri Lanka A team and South Africa A team matches. The results of this series seem quite strange to me. In all three matches, the team that batted first lost. In the second match, we saw South Africa A losing all wickets for just 175 runs. And the Sri Lankan team won this match in just 29 overs. And in the third match, Sri Lanka batted first and collected only 172 runs. And South Africa won this match quite easily.
South Africa A team and Sri Lanka A team have several talented players. However, the performance of the players is very erratic. It is hoped that as the players become more experienced, their performances will be more consistent.

What can Rashid Khan do when the Afghanistan batsmen only managed to score 116 runs in a 50 overs game? Even the players like Rashid Khan needs some score to defend, a score where the other team can be put under pressure while chasing. Rashid Khan bowled four overs in this match and conceded 21 runs and no wickets. Though this was good bowling seeing the context of the match, they need wickets which Afghanistan bowlers were not able to get.
Also, when we talk about Afghanistan, only Rashid Khan comes to mind. They need more match winners as the cricket team never won matches on the performance of a single person.

Now they have young players like Hazratullah Zazai and Rahmanullah Gurbaz who are very inconsistent, and players like Mohammad Nabi who are out of form. And that is the reason why they are losing so many matches despite having some of the best spin bowlers in the world. I don't know much about the domestic cricket system in Afghanistan. Low quality domestic cricket maybe one of the reasons behind this.

Afghanistan had started to show some improvement. What the problem is that the situation in Afghanistan. They basically did not have any cricket board. They had to play underfunding of a single player for some time and that is never a good sign for any cricket team. We also know that the political situation in Afghanistan is very unstable right now. Afghanistan is not being able to improve because of that. You cannot expect to improve in cricket if you have political problems in the country. Basically Afghanistan and Pakistan both are going through a big problematic period.

Afghanistan had started to show some improvement. What the problem is that the situation in Afghanistan. They basically did not have any cricket board. I don't think that there is any lack of government support in Afghanistan. The takeover by Taliban hasn't affected the domestic cricket system. And ICC members such as Australia and England will not allow the inflows to resume unless the Taliban regime gives assurances regarding women's cricket. Lack of funds might have impacted their performance.

The odds are in favor of West Indies once again because their players had shown great performance in last two matches. The West Indies team won the second ODI with a rouge performance and won the match by 78 runs. The only player who has shown great performance from UAE side in past matches was Ali Naseer, and he truly deserves the respect. However, the other players were not doing too good in order to win the match, the West Indies team is more experienced and has good batsmen like Brandon King, and Johnson Charles who can easily make great scores against UAE team.

I don't think that UAE team stands a single chance against West Indies team even in the 3rd ODI match. West Indies will easily overpower UAE's team and only Ali Naseer won't be able to own victory for the team. Let's see what will happen in this match. I'm sure this match will be really entertaining for the viewers and we may be wrong with our predictions if UAE team somehow win this match.

After an initial wobble, Namibia seems to have managed to stabilize their innings and have moved to 142/4 after 31.1 overs, with Jan Frylinck at 66. Overall, this series has been a disappointment for Namibia. The only plus point has been their win in the second match, where they successfully chased a target of 360. Now Frylinck and Michau du Preez are at crease and they maybe targeting a total of at least 250-260 (which may still be not enough).

West Indies cricket is much stronger than UAE cricket. The win in two consecutive matches in the series was a reflection of Indies' ability. Hope the same will happen in today's match. The United Arab Emirates should try their best to win today's final match. Even though the odds are favoring West Indies but if somehow UAE manage to click this win, it will be good for them. Even if they have already lost the series., they really need one win to get some self-confidence for the future.
The host team will be hoping to perform out of the ordinary and show how to win this last match. I will be eager to see the approach from WI towards this match. As they have won the series, would they take this match seriously, will they play with the same players or will they give a chance to the new comers from WI ?

The cricket series between the West Indies and the UAE has been thrilling so far with the West Indies winning the first two matches. They are obviously more confident going into the third game thanks to their steady play and victories in earlier games. UAE has not scored a total of 250 or more in either of their previous matches which has limited their ability to have a meaningful influence with their batting. Their respective totals of 206 and 228 in the first and second matches indicate their difficulty compiling big innings. Namibia has completed their first innings. This is the fourth, ODI between Namibia and Karnataka. Namibia has collected 253 runs at the loss of seven wickets and they have been able to play the whole 50 overs. Now the target for Karnataka is going to be not too hard. In my opinion. Karnataka was the one winning the toss and choosing to balls first. I believe they are pretty confident about this match. Personally, I don’t think 254 is a big target. I also believe that Namibia does not have a very strong bowling lineup which will prevent Karnataka from reaching the target.

UAE have played reasonably well in this match till now but they should not lose wickets at this moment. Vriitya Aravind is playing a good knock at 61 runs not out and he needs players to back him for the next 25 overs. If UAE managed to play the full 50 overs, I am sure they will collect 280+ runs and this will be a challenging total for the West Indies.

The good thing is that UAE are not giving up this match despite the series loss and I am hopeful to see this good final match finish between the two teams.
