Despite the UAE squad's recent success making them appear stronger, it is crucial to not dismiss the Jersey team. Every maych is a brand new chance for them to show off their abilities and anything might happen that day. The Jersey team can undoubtedly put up a fight against the UAE team with perseverance hard work and an optimistic outlook. United Arab Emirates were leading the match as favorites and the result reflected the same. United Arab Emirates played a big innings of 281 runs against which Jersey went down to play and lost the match by getting all out for 218 runs. Among the Jersey batsmen, Harrison Carlyon played an innings of 85 runs which was their team's highest score. He managed to score 85 off 89 balls and after that
Asa Tribe who managed to score 40 runs off 48 balls. The rest did not perform very well. As a result they had to lose the match.

UAE has performed well in each of their matches. They have lost only against the USA in 5 matches. UAE players performed well in all other matches. They dominated every match. However, the match against Jersey was very important for UAE. And they managed to win this match too. UAE's two bowlers Junaid Siddique and Meiyappan made it easy for UAE to win this match due to their excellent bowling. At the same time, the team was able to collect big due to the responsible batting of Musatafa, Washeem, and Arvind.

Sri Lanka and West Indies are surely going to qualify. My opinion is that other teams are just not capable enough. I know that West Indies has been quite inconsistent in recent times. But I don’t think that is going to stop them from qualifying for the World Cup. And about the number of teams in the tournament, I believe it should be much higher. At least 25 if not more.

It is actually a little sad to see them in this situation. They are generally a lot better compared to what we are currently seeing. To be honest, I am not very interested in ICC tournaments, especially two of them anymore. Those are the ODI in the World Cup and also the test world championship.

Who is responsible for the decline of Went Indies cricket? I realized that West Indies players don't have much interest in their national team. They are only found where the money. If a new player perform well in several matches, he quickly gets opportunities in various franchise teams in different leagues, he never dreams of progressing with the national team. West Indies is currently performing well in only T20 cricket. Other than that I don’t see them performing well in any other format. That’s why I don’t think they are actually going to go deep into the upcoming ODI World Cup. And we can see the same thing happening when West Indies players are playing in franchise cricket. They are performing well because they play T20 well. But they don’t necessarily play well in other formats.
