What a wonderful moment for Virat Kohli to get a 100th on this 35th birthday. He has an equal record of Sachin Tendulkar of making the most centuries for the Indian team in an ODI.

He received a standing ovation from the crowd at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.

This is Kohli's second century in this World Cup. Kohli batted slowly to score a century in today's match. Kohli got out after collecting 85 runs against Australia, 95 runs against New Zealand, and 88 runs against Sri Lanka. So Kohli didn't take any risk in today's match. He batted responsibly and played an excellent innings of 101 not out. Although his strike rate was only 83. However, India has already qualified for the semi-finals. Yeh we really expect that south Africa will show decent performance but they got exposed more poor then against paksitan while chasing Target. It's true that some journalists predict early that southafrica will be in trouble while chasing because they are really bad to chase especially in this tournament and if we have a look at thier results most of the time they won those matches where they does bat first. Don't know what happens to the teams playing with India in this World Cup? Yeah, I understand that Srilanka were a weak team but this South Africa batting lineup is one of the best among all (after India) and yet they were all out at 83 runs?

Is it the pressure of the Indian home ground or the high run chase target or what reason, it's just clueless. I always thought that South Africa may be one team which may give a tough time to India but not to be.

But the South African batsmen could not survive at the crease for long against the experienced Indian bowlers. The pitch was completely spin friendly. South African spin bowler Keshab Mahraz bowled well. On the other hand, Indian spin bowler Jadeja destroyed South Africa's batting order. He picked up 5 wickets. Also Kuldeep Yadav's performance was very good. He picked up two wickets and conceded just 7 runs in 5.1 overs. India is the most deserving team to win the world championship.
