SMB vs Meralco.

Do we have our local betting here? I mean, a series bet would be good, especially for the TNT vs Magnolia series as both have even chance to win based on the betting odds. Anyone wants to organize?

It's Magnolia vs TNT, for sure we have plenty of fans here for both teams.
Maybe bisdak40 can organize this one while the semi-finals have not started yet, I heard it's a best of 7 series, so it will be more fun.

This could be a great idea to have a local bet, since PBA is slowly getting back to normal so we can expect more conference to come and that means more game time for our favorite team. Magnolia vs TNT game is an obvious start studded games, that's why there's a lot of supporters and they both have a good history of winning. We can have that bet but I can't put that much, maybe if there's a good odds in favor to Magnolia, I'll place some bet.

The last call was crucial but I agree with that call. It's just that it was caught. There are also missed opportunities for Ginebra prior to that play.

That crucial call was very obvious and yet there are still some Ginebra fans crying on the social media saying that Ginebra must won blah blah. They are fans indeed but they are just fans and they don't know anything about basketball (typical bandwagons).

I had watched the whole game and it's pretty much Meralco all the way until the 4th quarter where the Ginebra started to erupt but wasn't enough to get the victory. Now after 6 straight playoffs series losses, the Meralco will advance to the Semis and will face another SMC team again which is San Miguel. TBH, tonight's game was full of action. The first game was a hard-fought match as well and it also went to overtime and the 2nd match is a good match too. Good Luck to the remaining 4 teams .

That was clearly an offensive foul, I can understand how tired Thompson is already, IIRC, he was playing like 44 minutes, that's not the way to win a game. This all Filipino cup team has a big problem, they cannot defend so much on Thompson as he is an all-around player, he will be easily gets tired.

I was happy when that 3point shot from Tenorio drops, but the answer from Almazan is that quick. The game is for Meralco and they really play hard to win it. No question about that last call referee's duty to make a call and even how crucial it is. There's no way that they will just let it go. Maybe a game changer for both teams but it's luck that came for the Bolts and they are now moving to semis, let see if how they will handle a much deeper squad in terms of offensive and defensive players.

Right, SMB is a tough team now both on paper and in the court with JMF15 showing his old MVP form and it is timely that Jericho Cruz and Chris Ross are now back in action while Bolts still adjusting on their new head coach. I just don't know if it's already broken but SMB has not lost a 7 game series when Fajardo is playing so yeah SMB will win here and handicap is needed to lure bet opponents.

If no one wants to shoulder the whole Php 5,000 bet for a team, users can ask for a share with others or what we called here "bakas".

The cut-off time is 5 minutes before the Semi-Finals start (tip-off is 3 pm), August 3; 2:55 PM PH Time.

Only a few hours now for preparation for this bet. I will still push this even with a single bettor.

Looks like I found a SMB fan here .

Anyway, SMB has been the All-Filipino Cup Champions for 6 straight seasons and JMF has been the MVP for 6 straight. For sure the Beermen are thirsty to get that title again and with their new line-up, they have a big chance to win the title.

On the other hand, Magnolia also has chance as well because of how pesky their guards are and their full court defense that can be very annoying if your the opponent. Include Abueva as well and how he annoys the opposing team. Overall, they have a chance but they need to defeat the TNT first that has Mikey Williams and RR Pogoy.

Yes, no doubt with Mikey Williams as he really is a superstar, I think Magnolia needs to play more physical in the 2nd half for them to be able to come back in the competition. I'm betting on Magnolia winning by 3+ in the 3rd quarter, it's the most important quarter so they have to win and bring the lead into a single digit going to the 4th quarter.

I thought that it would be a close game until the game as I think they are evenly matched but i was wrong, Magnolia hasn't figured a way yet to stop Mikey Williams. I'm sure there will be adjustments but I'm not sure that it would be enough for the Hotshots to win the second game.

End of the first half between the Bolts and the Beermen and it seems that we are heading towards another blowout win the JMF lead Beermen as they are ahead by almost 20 points. Interestingly though, Junemar already had 3 fouls so there's a chance that he will have limited minutes in the third for the Bolts to mount a comeback.

As we saw in their game earlier something like that they struggling to handle mikey Williams. 26 score for mikey said that Magnolia can not stop him in this game. Magnolia hot shots need a hard adjustment because we all know that not only mikey willams is a top scorer also there's pugoy who can quite contribute a big points per game. So magnolia need to set a good defense strategy and offense as well.
