Can't believe though that bookies really looked down at Ginebra against Bay Area Dragons. I know well and understand the capability of this guest team but Ginebra giving a @4 odds is like the game tomorrow between these two is really a considered mismatch.

I hope BGSM will be the first one to defeat this guest team.

Because of the good standing of Bay Area, the odds are in favor to them but we should not underestimate Ginebra because we know that they are the good team and having that odds is really hard to pass. The crowd will be there and for sure Ginebra will do it’s best to get another win, Bay Area should be more prepared for this since most of their games are very close which put them at a bigger risk of losing against Ginebra.

Ginebra vs. Bay Area on Sunday. I'm hoping that this will be the time where the arena will be filled with Ginebra Fans like how they are during the playoffs. I'm also thinking on who will defend the 7'5" player of the Dragons .

No one can defend him but Ginebra will just make a good strategy to make him useless, a fast pace game will be very much suitable in this kind of game, and we know Brownlee can explode and they have Pringle who is already back, so it will be a good game.

I have not watched the game of Bay Area Dragons lately, but in the first few games that I watched, the 7'5" center is not their starter. He is a bench player and only plays for a few minutes. Bolick drove through him once like he was nothing. So, I think he is not the main problem for Ginebra. Their main problem is their shooter and guards. They are quick and explosive. Their 3s are on point. If it becomes a 3-point shootout, it will be very problematic for Ginebra.

Meanwhile, have you see the TNT vs NP? That was crazy, huge bounc back by TNT and they dominated the NP.
Also, Pogoy made 8-9 in the 3 point area, this guy is really unconscious, I think he will be the next best star player in the team, not Williams.

He is taking over since Castro is out. He has always been a good player and he is showing now that he can lead the team. Williams is a good player, but Pogoy is much more dependable, especially lately. When Pogoy exploded and Northport can't find a way to stop him, they just gave up. NP lose their will to fight, and the game became lopsided. It was a good bounce-back win for TNT after their controversial loss against Magnolia.

Ginebra should not be complacent here and stay focus with the game, Brownlee needs the help of the local players, and let's see if they can beat Bay Area. You are right mate, Bay Area Dragons are not undefeated anymore, thanks to Justin Brownlee's hot shooting as he leads the Kings to a blowout win against tough and gutsy visitors. Justin Brownlee was 6 points shy of scoring 50 points tonight but nevertheless, a win is a win, and thanks to him that odds of 4.03 made some bettors a few dollars richer tonight.

PBA fans are already anticipating the match between the Beermen and the Dragons as they want to see if the Beermen could also slay the Dragons from the Bay Area.

Congratulations to the Ginebra Gin Kings, that wasn't the game that we are expecting, the absence of Myles Powell was really huge for the team, and hopefully they will learn that Ginebra is not an easy team to beat, it's just a happy night for me as I also won my bet on this game.

With Blankley not hitting his 3-pointers and the other outside shooters not getting their usual output, they really miss the production of Myles Powell. I think they missed 19 3-pointers at least. Without Powell creating outside or driving inside to draw defenders, they have a hard time getting their output. We can also consider that the Dragons are adjusting to their new import thus resulting in their poor performance. That poor performance was taken advantage of by Ginebra who performed very well.

Congratulations to Ginebra backers. It's payday for them. If they caught the @4 odds, it's quite a big win.

I like that comment coach Tim did his job well for bringing that tight defense, Bay Area feels the pressures and it really the battle of protecting the boards, the locals of Bay area against the locals of gin kings it's a good match up and it was a pride for the pinoy fans especially for the brgy fans.

Nicholson still have 3 games to play before the Dragons can choose which between Powell and Nicholson they will want to continue the conference with. Right now, Powell is looking good to continue but I am not shutting Nicholson yet. It was his first game with the Dragons and there might be jitters still and they are in the adjustment period.  I want to see him perform against San Miguel first. If he really cannot carry his team, then it is better for Powell to resume back.

I thought that their new import Nicholson will sustain his great performance in the 1st half, but after scoring 26 in the 1st half, he only scored 2 in the 2nd half and the Ginebra just took over on the 2nd half and got the victory.

I expected an arena full of crowd, but still there are many fans out there. I guess the Bay Area didn't expect the Ginebra to play that way and the amount of crowd that will go against them because we know how Ginebra fans are. I also think that changing of import also affected the chemistry of the team and how they will play around him. With Powell, you have a guard who can just make fastbreak and score 30 points. Nicholson is also a good import and has a long wingspan, but it seems that he ran out of gas coming into the 2nd half last night.

I hope that the Dragons are ready because their remaining games will be against SMC and MVP.
