It seems that spending money to buy a star player is not their style in every transfer exchange. Diego Simeone released more star players than buying it, let's say Griezmann who was released to Barcelona even though Barca was their own competitor in La Liga and then bought it back from Barca after the price dropped. Seeing Atletico's style on the Tranfer Exchange is almost similar to the style of one of the Bundesliga Borussia Dortmund clubs who like to sell players to rival clubs Munchen.

For Atletico Madrid, it's not like they don't like to, or want to sing big players, it's just that they can't afford them.
The regulations of La Liga are too strict that's why clubs from the league find it difficult to sign players. 
You can see mid-table teams in the EPL making big money signings but teams in La Liga can't do it. Barcelona is even barely managing because they are a big club and players are willing to take a pay cut to play there. Somehow Madrid is the only La Liga team not too affected by the regulations.

Spanish teams sell their big players because they can't afford to pay them and secondly, because they need the money.
The current La Liga president is shocking the teams and I wonder how he doesn't see it. He even refused to pay just 3 million euros for goal-line technology. The league has deteriorated under his leadership.
The presidential elections are in December, I hope he loses and the league get a better person to manage the affairs of the league.

In my opinion, i think Real Madrid and Florentino Perez are playing a financial politics with the Mbappe deal. Why do i say so? Mbappe has a year left on his contract; which means he can agree a free transfer deal off to Real Madrid in January 2024, with bumper sign on fees and other benefits. Real Madrid is probably weighing their options at the moment, Sign Mbappe now for 180-200 M or wait until he becomes a free player and sign a prenup in January.

Its a tight call, and i think Real Madrid is also playing mind games, signing Joselu and then declaring that no more striker signings haha. Lets see what happens until September 1, when transfer window closes

If Real Madrid had that scenario to sign Mbappe then I'm sure they wouldn't be able to sign the deal. However, it is perfectly reasonable that PSG would expect any profit for their starlet Kylian Mbappe, so they would not be so reckless as to let him leave without any benefit for the club.

Florentino Pérez can plan anything, but in the end the decision will be made about Kylian Mbappe. I don't think it's appropriate for PSG to let Mbappe go on a free transfer, it's something very ridiculous for them when other teams can make big profits for their star players.

If they want to have some benefit by selling Mbappé, I suggest they think about selling him right now. Otherwise, they are going to have to let him go as a free agent. That is not going to be ideal for the club. As we all know that they can at least get 150 million for him right now. I saw if he actually leaves the club as a free agent. Yes, Atletico Madrid is fairly well place in the table but no better than Barcelona, and to lead the league title next season I think Diego Simeone's squad is still under Xavi's team in some ways.
I don't see anything special about Atletico Madrid this season because they are indeed one of the favorites in the top four so nothing is different if we look at previous seasons

They are always in the top 3 at the end of La Liga. So I agree that they are a strong club and always give surprises besides Barcelona and Real Madrid. Then regarding Felix, I just realized that Joao Felix is quite expensive. I didn't expect that at such a price he was loaned to Chelsea half this season. That shouldn't be the case with the most expensive price tag at Atletico. But indeed I had seen on social media that Felix did not have a good relationship with Diego Simeone. But Atletico seems reluctant to let him go, because his manpower is still very useful.

I also thought so when Atletico failed the first part of the season that the joint story of Diego Simeone and Atletico Madrid is over, but still a powerful finish made me doubt it. I think that even if Atletico does not become champions and does not take titles this season, but finishes in the top three again, the coach will remain at the head of the club. Nevertheless, the current Atletico is more of a project tied to Simeon and the club's management may reasonably fear that with a new coach, the results may fall and the restructuring of the club by a new coach may greatly drop the club in the standings and hit revenue even harder. And under the leadership of Simeone, there is at least some stability.

Ancelotti's figure is admired by every Real Madrid player and if his contract could be longer then he would continue to stay at Real Madrid. Real Madrid will not sell Valverde when they need him and both are happy with each other. Valverde did not say any word that he is not happy in Madrid and want to leave the club.

I agreed about this as Federico Valverde is here for long time as this is his boyhood love club, and he will never think to leave right now, but officially we have second big from the Liverpool which is having worth of £77m with most chances this is also going to be rejected but good thing they are trying this which is also worth to try for the player like Federico Valverde.

Here we have another factor, most chance's player will be never happy to leave but still things are moving around, and we have to wait for the official statement from the Real Madrid what are they thinking about this offer but still for me, he will be stayed at Bernabéu.
