...psychology effect that you can have by presenting certain type project (invitation based) to certain people. ------ In other news. EDM made Idena promo video, check it out ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FB2VqJzc.jpg&t=671&c=di2NOg9hZuV41Q) It's obviously got some smart people, and the basic part of the coin i.e., human mining is important, but it appeals more to Eastern Europe than West. On the other hand, your video says "the future of digital identity" which is a completely separate thing, if you are going to use the coin to create 'digital identities' which can be trusted. Namecoin was the first coin to do that, I don't remember the name of that part of the namecoin project, I think it was done by domob. Then a bunch of other coins like Civic which are much more commercial. That issue is a big intersection between government interests and the less well regulated side of crypto. Your video uses that phrase very explicitly "the future of digital identity", but it will be difficult to establish credibility in that area based on an 'invitation based' system or whatever you call it unless you use a decentralized proving system for the online identities, or at least something that has credibility outside your closed network.

The invitation system just adds to the sybil resistance.. it's nothing like a closed network, very easy for outsiders to get in.

The invitation system just adds to the sybil resistance.. it's nothing like a closed network, very easy for outsiders to get in. Okay, but until you connect it to a wider system it still doesn't serve as a digital identity since all you are proving is that somebody has a computer. What if they have two computers? Ten computers? What if they own an internet cafe in a poor neighborhood, sort of like what broke neucoin. At some point in the future human input coins will thrive with internet cafes but that will weaken the digital identity part of your coin unless you connect it to other things on the network. You can't just spring up out of the ground and create a trustable digital identity that will have credibility except within your own network unless you plan to take over the world, and have the means to do it. Apart from that is still the previous issue, unrelated to digital identity, of your anonymous team controlling a centralized coin. That works well in places like Eastern Europe where it has often been necessary in recent history for people to trust strangers and take their chances. In places that have been more comfortable the rule is 'trust but verify'. How does a person know that your dev is not waiting until he has enough funds to buy a beach house in Brazil? Bitcoin pretends to solve that problem, even if it doesn't, but your coin does not even pretend. Do you want westerners to trust your coin blindly?

Did you try to validate yourself?

the whole point of idena is to prevent this. at least do basic research Apart from that is still the previous issue, unrelated to digital identity, of your anonymous team controlling a centralized coin.
unlike with bitcoin the issuance remains the same, without overly rewarding early adopters. the premine is reasonable imo and will get diluted rather quick. i guess you're just concern trolling anyway but 90% of your arguments are retarded

the whole point of idena is to prevent this. at least do basic research I see a very flimsy effort to validate a lot of people at once https://medium.com/idena/how-to-prove-your-identity-anonymously-919bdfe5249a I don't see any real way of preventing one person from opening ten accounts if they have ten computers and are quick at jumping from one computer to another. I don't see any real way of preventing one person from opening ten accounts if they have ten computers and are quick at jumping from one computer to another.
First part of validation is called short session. It lasts 1 minute 45 seconds. During that time you need to solve 6 flips. If you get easy flips and if you are fast in solving them, you can solve 4 validations max. Yes, there are people who are running multiple accounts. They are invested in project just from profit perspective, they don't see long term benefits. Yes you can run multiple accounts, but that has it's downsides and people will only realize them later on. To attain Human status, you need above 92% score. When you run multiple accounts you get stressed out during validation, your judgment will fail and will not solve flips good as you will rush things. When you get more complicated flips, your score will suffer and you will fail at validation. And in the longterm, having Human account is what benefits people the most. Some future governance platform can set rule where it can say that they accept only votes from Human status Identity.

short session is 2 minutes, you can validate like 1-2 accounts in that time no matter how many computers you have.

a) Briefly, which of the following is true.
1) There is a person associated with the coin who can create new identities, and/or decide which identities are valid.
or
2) Validation is entirely automated and the developer does not have the ability to 'create' any identities, and a person familiar with coding could verify that.
b) What are the various powers that the developer has with regard to the coin? For example if somebody hardforked all your public code, and added a cool button, could they create Idena 2.0?
Would Idena 2.0 need a developer to manage it?

short session is 2 minutes, you can validate like 1-2 accounts in that time no matter how many computers you have. One human being can validate two wallets easily, the thing that needs to be done is to use Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox to open two different accounts, then rent an Apikey shared node. At least you have to be able to complete one wallet in less than 50 seconds, because the actual time is only 1 minute and 45 seconds to validate the short time. This notification appeared when I started to shift the Delegation button to active mode, so what should be avoided so that we can still get maximum income from IDENA mining?
It's there to warn you that you should not delegate mining to the node that you don't trust fully. I do validation using web validation for two wallets at the same time. So that the delegation mining that I do is from my second account to my main account. Here I only aim to find out how delegation mining itself works, and I want to experience delegation for this one epoch. My curiosity medicine

Hey, Did research on Idena lately and quite amazed by the concept and implementation. Thinking it would be nice to have a simple and well curated list of relevant links, so I have set up the "Idena Link Directory". It has a wide selection of Idena related resources and aims to be useful for beginners and advanced users alike. If you have a link worth adding, you can submit it directly in the about section for review. Looking forward for feedback and link submissions, the website is idena.toIDENA has been added to the new exchange https://www.occe.io/exchange/idna_usdt

So I guess without the bots/fake account, the network may have shrunk over the last couple epochs. That is a little concerning, but I am glad we have figured out a fix now.

This is great news, but a market that does not have a large trading volume will not attract new users who want to enter to sell or buy IDNA. Until now, what's interesting about IDENA is that developers continuously provide updates for nodes, clients and the entire blockchain network, making investors interested in owning some IDNA before actually going to the moon. IDENA is unique, and has a strong community, I am very sure that some of the big exchangers will soon list IDNA on their own platform.

This project looks like a dark horse I have not seen a project like this before the nearest I can compare to this project is Nano or Fermat which is mining by invitation only, will read more of this project and see how these things work here.

Hi everyone, can anyone provide a tutorial on how to sell IDNA on Pancakeswap? I am familiar with Qtrade and Hotbit, for now I really really want to see IDNA on the BSC Network, because I have several BNB to use to pay the transaction fee. It spent a lot of fees when I sold it on Qtrade

You can go idena.io and click BSC Bridge and click Swap and click Idena > BSC, Minimum to Swap 100 Idena and Add your Wallet BSC and Click Continue. Don't forget to add name Idena at your trustwallet Dear Idena community, We have released a bridge that converts iDNA coins on Idena blockchain to wrapped iDNA BEP20 tokens on Binance Smart Chain. After conversion, iDNA remain in custody of the Idena Bridge Vault ( https://scan.idena.io/address/0x98D16d7021930b788135dD834983394fF2De9869), and wrapped iDNA are sent to your BSC address by BSC contract ( https://bscscan.com/token/0x0de08c1abe5fb86dd7fd2ac90400ace305138d5b). The bridge is hosted by the Idena Core Team, and kudos for the development of the bridge go to @RealMahmoud, a valued member of the Idena community. Now you can trade wrapped iDNA on Pancake Swap ( https://exchange.pancakeswap.finance/#/add/BNB/0x0De08C1AbE5fB86Dd7FD2ac90400AcE305138d5B) and other BSC exchanges and hold it on BEP-20 wallets!
