They want to make someone create an account to even file a complaint. I'm not giving them my damn contact information. I would suggest others be careful doing so as well.
I think SP should do this. But hey, at least it shows that Spondoolies as a brand is an asset i China! Some in China are known for hacking to obtain technical designs on products from corporations, etc... I would be careful if I were SP. Aliexpress / Alibaba Of course it is reputable. Some of the companies that sell are not. But they do try very hard to maintain a watch on that in Aliexpress and Alibaba. Rating system is pretty good. In 3 years of using Aliexpress I have hand one complaint about non-shipment and my money was returned by the company after Aliexpress intervened. I think a lot of people still have misconceptions about Alibaba. At one point it was a bit of a joke to try and get useful quotes on it, but it's evolved considerably and is now a juggenaugt. They did US$9.4B in sales in a single day during their 11.11 sale in 2014. That's an eighth of eBay's 2013 gross merchandise volume, in a single day.

I think the easiest way would be to lower your start voltage and limit the PSUs. For example for using 3350GH/s at 1760W you would limit each PSU to 850W.

@SP-Tech: any plans to update the SP10 firmware beyond 1.5.8 (or 1.5.10 TEST)?
I feel like i'm missing out on scheduling and lower fan settings (a 20% or 30% setting would be nice for underclocked units and save dealing with SSH) - amongst other little tweaks that have one into the SP20 and SP3x series recently.

Yes I saw that, but is there a breakdown that includes voltage or watts? Send an email to j at toom period im and I'll send you a data table. I'd include it here, but I don't really feel like doing the work to make it format properly on this board right now.

Does anyone know whether or not the SP31 will keep its voltage settings if the unit is restarted? I will be under locking a couple of units on each circuit and want to make sure for planning. Thanks. can anyone recommend a sp31 clocking guide?

All the units (SP10, 20, 30, 31, 35) will keep the configuration settings if they're restarted/rebooted. That includes voltages, pools, .. everything you can set with the UI.
The part which is NOT persistent after a reboot/restart, you can't modify it via the UI.

Western countries build most of their products on the market in China. Then China sells these engineered products to the rest of the world on Alibaba Easy!

Thanks. I didn't understand the last part of what you wrote about part of the settings not being able to be modified via the UI after rebooting.

multiple 'SD recoveries' failed to help
multiple 'SD boot' attempts fail to help

A few people have asked about shipping charges from Titan to our facility. Apparently Titan and/or SPTech are charging $300 for shipping and handling. While reasonable for worldwide shipping, that's pretty ridiculous given how close we are to Titan. If you are thinking of moving your miners to us from Titan, we are willing to pick up your miners in person to help you avoid the $300 shipping and handling fee. We've still got about 30 kW of capacity that we can make available to Titan customers. Email orders@toom.im if you have questions. If you have hosting at Minersource and want to get out of there, you're also welcome to contact us. We've gotten a few SP3Xs from Minersource over the last few months, including a few after their website went down. I don't know if shipments will continue, but I hope so. I've been thinking about making a trip down to Denver to visit a friend, so there's a chance I might be able to pick some miners up from Minersource as well.

Update from one of our customers: While they were able to get some of their miners shipped from Minersource to us a few weeks ago, their subsequent attempts to get their last 4 SP30s out of Minersource have not been successful yet, after one week of attempted contact. *Ominous music plays in the background*
