Most of it was contributed for good causes. Go find the GB and read the OP I'm not saying anything... He earned it Btw, wouldn't' it be fair to wait with offering SP31 for sale until you release compenstion offers so we would have a chance to calculate your compensation against possible buy of SP31? Atm, I don't know if I should invest in SP31 or not, becasue I have got no clue what the compensation is going to include... Also, me and many have not even had a chance to earn anything yet from my GB units to invest in SP31... Yeah no shit, we should have got first dibs on any October hardware this is getting ridiculous I didn't even know Oct hardware was up for sale so even if we are able to put any btc together we will be again at the back of the bus ....niiiice I'm anticipating S-T answer to this, please... |

You assume a lot of things, and so far your track record isn't that great...
I'm also assuming that you will not have 100% uptime with over 12 S3s  Edit: Usually my assumptions are based on the past facts, not on guesses. Perhaps you just are not technically competent to run 12 of something as simple as the S3 (I couldn't resist)... Seriously both pieces of hardware are solid and arguing this aspect of the conversation is silly.. |

If the difficulty will be just a bit better than in your projections then the SP31 is clearly a winner. I can't help noticing that after the so praised ROI the S3 is doing close to nothing, while the SP31 is still doing something. Also I can lower the power efficiency down to 0.58W/GH and doing that will help me earn more money after difficulty reaches 70 billion so getting ROI will be faster than in your projection.
You are forgetting to add in the hosting costs $400/month Not even in Advania I'm not paying $400/month. My October SP31 will be hosted with jtoomim where I will pay ~$240/month. I wish I'd seen his offer before the spondoolies DC became available. It's a much better deal even with one month free hosting in the S-T offer. But it's too late to change now as I already paid. |

Having an 100% uptime has nothing to do with setting them up, but I am sure that you feel better now that you took this out of your system. |

Didn't even see that. I assumed that Batch 1 will stat before 15. But the misleading is still there. The S3 will not hash on 14 September. The only thing misleading are your posts. I would have though you had eaten some humble pie they way your GB has turned out. |

Isn't that what you guys said for the slow corner batch as well, what was that compensation offer I forgot, oh wait no one knows yet. Talk is cheap, actions speak louder than words. This commitment should be stated upfront with the details of what the compensation would be. You are right this is the ASIC Manufacture Language; Anyway a little consideration for the customers is always better. It turns out that AMD is still using the 32nm process for some processors to come. The hashrate efficiency per watt may increase slowly in the near future. |

As explained before, it depends on the dates we'll receive the ASICs lots. We're trying to pull-in the dates, but we didn't get a commitment yet. We commit to the 2nd half of October. It might be before if we'll be able to get the ASICs before. Not bug but easily solvable production issue. Soon, RockerBox will show it's full potential. Well, actually, not the full potential since the SP31 still has the following limiting factors, in that order: PSUs, DC2DC, Cooling (heat sinks) I've seen the results of SP30 with slow corner ASICs in grcooling solution and it was impressive. Can't wait to see what SP31 results will look like in similar setup. |
