Nice and clean...after 6 (six) deleted posts...

Covering the failure to deliver on specs...

Good job, guys...

"Don't worry...be happy"... Grin

Until next failure...

Good luck and happy mining...

I am out of here...

EDIT...:

Bicknellski...deleting posts will NOT help you with your projects...Wish you all the best... Wink

WTF you talking about?

The MODS moved the posts to politics.

Leave me out of your hate filled rants.

Ignored you. You are a fucking dipshit and there is a lot of unnecessary posts in this thread as it is. As a CUSTOMER with an actual ORDER I'd rather hear from SPTech than the you and those who are hell bent on this crap. Don't drag me into your shit start another thread and go whine and cry there.

Yes and timeline for the August GB etc will be nice.

I assumed 20 something of August for my unit based on the original estimates that RoadStress and SPTech gave when we were ordering.

Although Spontoolies Tech SP30 didn't meet their specs.
I want to congratulate Guy and his team for archieving this goal.
I have no doubt that they will improve the SP30 in later batches.

Thank you.

<snipped out the BS>

I am not sarcastic.
Have you ever took your miners apart and do some repair work on miners from other manufacturers?
I have.
Most of the competitors deliver unreliable gear and you have to know what you are doing to get it working again.
Spondoolies Tech deliver State of the Art technology
Although I don't have anything ordered yet from Spondoolies Tech, I will order in the near future, because
I know this is the end of the road for 28 nm technology, there won't be much gain in speed and effeciency unless you add more chips and undervolt it.

I praised Spondoolies before and I praised them again.
Thank you for letting me know you are the first to reach the limit of 28nm Sha256 engineering.
I know how to invest further thanks to you.

Depends on BTC price but yes that is fair assessment. They will provide the top end of the 28nm chip for sure and it will out perform pretty much everything else. ROI? Let us see what October and beyond brings. 3rd Gen is going to be the one to look at for DIY teams as well.

This thread is no longer a channel for me to communicate with the clients. I didn't read the thread for the last month because of SP30 FW development, and the ground shifted. Few months ago it was a great place to get feedback, and to resolve issues. Now it is same trashing over and over and over, every day. I am very sorry that we didn't perform to the specs we were committed, but Guy is committed to compensate in a reasonable way, and reading all this trashing is just not what I want to do with my time. And now I see some people talking about race, religion, politics etc`, and even the smallest jokes provoke crazy reactions.

So I will be stopping reading the thread for a while at least, unless Guy will ask me specifically to reply somewhere. If you have technical issues, feedbacks etc`, feel free to use my email. Best of luck to all those getting SP30. Please remember we got the ASICs just about 10 days ago and working around the clock to make the FW as good and stable as possible.

Welcome to Mos Eisely Cheesy

Bitcointalk is just like that. I believe I warned y'all when you first announced. Believe it or not, there are a lot of cool people here. Don't give up on us too quickly.

The flipside is that there are a lot of morons and assholes too. It's one hell of a dichotomy. I have met some of the coolest and smartest people I've ever encountered on this very forum. And some of the most genetically miscegenated dipshits as well. It can be fun.

Zvi,
While certainly you need to focus on your engineering task, don't let the negative posts here upset you too much, use your mental 'iron dome' to ignore them... most of these posts fall in 'unpopulated areas' anyway... (consider that many members here were exploited by various shady operators and have developed some level of mistrust and suspicion, which is sometimes a healthy protective mechanism, but can 'overshoot' too).

Cheers

Thanks.
I wanted to read the experiences of  people in the morning with the new SP30s, and I read so much bullshit to get to 1 or 2 interesting  posts.

Anyway, there was a bug with 110V that I fixed in 2.2.23 - upgrade if you have 110V. It should provide almost 4.00Th now in 110V, I will try to increase it a bit next week.

I wrote long time ago ago when someone asked that 110V will take 7% to 20% of your hashing. This is what we see - ~12%.

The thing is that I see a couple of idiots bitching, WITHOUT ever ordered or ever had any SP product.

Can you please remove their posts , and please go on with your recent updates?

RockerBox is certainly not the limit of 28nm SHA256 engineering.
PickAxe our 3rd gen is also 28nm. The fact that we're using exactly the same process means one less production risk for us. We gained a lot from the issue we encountered with the first wafers lots of RockerBox.
I believe that there is still a lot room for improvement.

When do the SP50 pre-orders open ?

+1 ...

Even though you said you wouldn't moderate a moderated thread it might be time. Or opt for SPTech forum for people who are customers.

I would have an interest in buying a PickAxe if you allowed cc or paypal and If you did not do it as a long preorder.  2 weeks or less and  I would be in.

Same as I asked to use with the sp30 and the sp10  as I still believe you sell the best gear.

Don't you see, that this is what the stupid jealous trolling twats are accomplishing? So far, you have the best of customer and technical support in BTC mining field, please continue keeping it on the level. They would have done the same trolling, even if you have missed you specs by 10MH or late deliver 24H. And most of them never even touched a SP Tech gear, hence they are jealous they do not owe one, so they will try to discredit SP Tech to the MAX.

Does any of them bitch in Bitmain's threads, stating that half of their S3 are stuck in an infinite loop with UPS? That 80% of S3s need to be taken apart to be cleaned of the excess thermal grease and reapplied new paste, in order to work %10 below expectations? That shipping companies are asking for their SSN, because of Bitmains poor logistics? That S3s need to be restarted every 3 hours to keep the hashrate from going down?

You are a decent company in the mining business, please ignore the retarded, psychologically disabled persons in this forum and concentrate on what you do best, building the most ultimate mining hardware around!!! If you leave your loyal customers without support here, the only who will suffer will be the ones who believed in you and continue to do so.

I must warn you, the better you became, the more haters gonna come. Deal with it, this is just the beginning...

I think that in most cases you guys are overreacting to a typical message board banter. Once the machines will be flowing, the discussion would turn more technical.
I am actually enjoying the freewilling personalities here as long as the discussion is focused on tech and not religion, race, nationality, etc. You can post on Guardian or NY Times boards for that, and I am sure that some of participants here do just that judging by the similar styles  Smiley

When the CEO goes around repeatedly throwing the 6 - 6.5 TH numbers around on the forum, he has a responsibility to qualify his statements if there are any.

He did qualify his statements:
"Seriously, we know what we are doing"

"You can take that uncertainty out of the equation"

I relied on those qualifications to my detriment.

Hmmm, let me guess.  Now you learn a lot, you seriously know what you are doing now.

Learned lots on customer's expense.  I hope those customers get some nice PickAxe offers laters.  Any of your Yukon customers ought to get access to some serious catch-up hardware.  Everyone knows you don't have money to return to customers, but what you do have is the ability to make kick-ass hardware.  Compensation should be in the form of future kick-ass hardware - that way you don't have to short everyone.  Maybe then, customers will be happy.

Even Bitmain came up short, gave good value on future hardware (S3 coupons), and everyone was happy.  Giving back money doesn't help anyone.  They don't want money - they want the hash power you said was coming.
