anyone knows the weight of this  thanks
According to Fedex the SP30 was 18.8 kg. The SP35 can't be much heavier if physically only the PSUs changed.

Yeah, I also use data centers meant for internet hosting and they give you a static IP block with a gateway IP address. This doesn't work well with Spondoolies and KnC default setups.

Huh ? Why not ?
Well with the SP30 it apparently is not recommended to use static IP according to another post by Zvi I think. Aslo, The first Neptunes I got came with firmware where the static IP configuration simply did not work (it may work now but I don't care anymore). I have some each miner in a cabinet and I had to make an unplanned purchase of a firewall device to provide the DHCP functionality.

There appears to be some bug in the firmware/software/hardware combination that is SP30/31 and static IP addresses. I don't have one so can only offer advice generically, but using DHCP fixes the issue.

I am guessing you mean they asked you to check your email for the confirmation link to verify either your account, or whatever transaction you made?  If so, check your email it might have what you are looking for.

When ordering from Sponds in the future I'd expect the order to ship at the very last day of the month. This is what has happened for both august and september batches now apparently.

So ZeusMiner and Rockminer are shipping at 900GHZ miner for $349 @1000watts

I cant see how the sp20 can still be priced close to $1200 now

if the prices don't change by next week I will be selling $900 USD of SP tech coupons for around $700 if anyone is interested

I don't have the funds to purchase an sp3500 I was interested in the sp20 units but not at the curent price so I will probbaly have to cut my losses

and sell the coupons.

I did not want to wait till October for my refund and I had my mind set on a sp31 October batch which it seems they oversold...  my order was cancelled so I was left holding

the bag with the coupons instead of an SP31 and I'm not interested in anything with a November delivery right now with btc tanking and diff climbing.  They did offer me

5% on an sp35 but I would need a LOT bigger discount than that to even consider pulling the trigger.

Considering the fact that the coupons I got actually were due to the fact that my sp30 was under spec by over 1TH I'm kinda irritated with the whole deal.

thus is leaned towards the SP20 which right now seems like an even worse deal.

Can anyone tell me how to make an SP10 run relatively quiet? I read a few things about running them down at 1000w, is that safe. Even if its just at 1Th/s I am fine with that. What is your advice?

lol @ people taking noise into consideration when buying mining equipment.

If you have to care about that, just buy btc directly, mining is not for your type.

I have them hosted, I will bring them offsite.  If you want to buy them off me, I would gladly take the BTC because I am selling 11 of them at Michcolo.

Since each SP10 made just about 7BTC already (if you got them early).. how much would you like for a unit? Are you shipping to Canada?

Right now, Eligius gives about +0.00328460 BTC/block for one .. with an average of 0.01979672 BTC per day, and roughly, they'll make 2BTC each over the next 100 days (keeping everything constant). Since nothing is constant, I expect one unit to make 2BTC in double the time, without paying for colocation and/or power Smiley

TBH .. if you get more than 0.5BTC for a unit (excluding shipment), you're lucky.

I am running 6TH worth of rk-boxes, antminers S2/S3, and BTCgarden units, and the combined volume is about half of my SP10 running at 50% fans.

mining quietly is not difficult, the BTCgarden units are the quietest by far, basically no louder than the EVGA 1300 powering them. The SP10 is a monstrosity in terms of noise, and should never be put inside a building within earshot of people
