A huge win for nice today against brest with 3 0 despite being a player short due to a red card on the 20th minutes but they managed to hold the advantage they had and score two more goals thanks to delort and gouiri and with these three points they took the second place from marseille for now.

Lyon managed to take advantage of the opportunity quite well where their counter-attack paid off. Lyon lead 1-0 even though PSG really made it difficult for them to control the game.



I don't think without Messi and Di Maris PSG lost a lot of motivation today to win. Mbappe and other players are enough to make PSG more dominant than Lyon. We'll see PSG score, that's most likely in my opinion.

Just as I expected, Lyon are not intending to let PSG win easily in this game. They have got ahead by 1-0 earlier in the first half and still lead by the same score. Might turn out to be a lucky win in the end if PSG can turn it around at all, but I have my doubts. That's also sort of a problem to some teams if your advantage already is so big in the league table and you have other competitions in front of you that you might only give 90% in fear of injuries. It does make psychological sense, but it less attractive to watch for all the fans out there. Lyon will give their best because they still have something to win in the league, but very unlikely that PSG has anything to lose. They shouldn't be too generous though. Out of a sudden two to there injuries, then the CL games, that's when you want to be in a position in the league to really give some players a rest in the league games.

Well it does affect the team but I mean come on, PSG has the best squad from all Ligue 1 teams combined so they should be fine even without both Messi and Di Maria. I was kinda expecting Lyon to turn some tide in because PSG had 3 draws in the last 5 games and also the odds for PSG to win was over 2x and thats kinda suspicious for PSG.

Yes but another relatively late game goal by PSG. Even though they are decently underway in the Ligue 1 table, people following the games a bit closer know that PSG had a good couple of games that were really close but went in their favor. Things could be looking differently for them. They often lack the absolute dominance that you would expect from a team with such world class players compared to the average quality of Ligue 1 teams.

I totally agree with you psg team sure is satisfied with this result they are on a confortable situation plus they have many absent players not to mention that lyon team today played very good despite the trouble they faced in their recent games and this result is surely not good for them they are five games without a win in the 11th position.

PSG must become champions. They want to get rid of the disgrace of the previous season. Then Lille became champion, sad that that happened. Nice for football but a shame for this PSG team. The competition offers little challenge, right? PSG would itself become champion with a B team. You have 3 world spies in the front, but Mbappe will probably move it to the season. I am looking forward to see how Monaco will do under the new coach. I guess it really was the personal problems the team had with Kovac because if you look at the results, I don't think Monaco will do much better than they used to do so far this season. Does Monaco currently have any superstars? The seasons when Mbappe still played for them, I think they were another calibre. Monaco ending the season on 3rd place last season was about to be as much as is possible for them right now.

You can dominate a single match as much as you like, but if it doesn't end with a goal scored, then it's all just statistical games Despite its place this season, Lyon has shown itself to be quite a worthy opponent. Lyon's tactics consisted of striking counterattacks and it turned out perfectly in one moment. nevertheless, people recognize the quality. he just needs to mature a little more in playing with the team. then PSG can be a very strong team with beautiful games. It's not just about who scores goals. but how did the goal scheme happen. PSG has been very good in the middle. but indeed some still hold on to their selfishness.
