Clermont are a really unpredictable team now. They defeated Rennes, Nice and Marseille not much time ago. They defeated the last two even in away matches. They are at the 15th position in the standings now and they are just fighting for not relegating at the end. It is really hard to understand this team's being this bad despite having the ability to win one of the best teams in the Ligue 1. Thanks to Clermont's defeating Marseille last week, Nice dropped the gap to one point again. The battle for the second position also is very good to watch.

Every player must have an unlucky day in his career despite being the best player at this time. Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar, Mbappe, Benzema and many of the best players have missed penalties and they have been criticized and even booed for their fantastic contracts. It's easier for people to forget good performances and good contributions from any player when they don't live up to expectations in a match or two, it's not fair to them.

About Neymar I also feel that he has gone downhill this season with PSG. Some of the reasons so far are his condition which has suffered several injuries so he can not appear regularly for his team. I don't know what fans will say to PSG if this season they also fail in the Champions League. Bad words aside, fans will probably suggest PSG let go of many of their best players including Mbappe.

Yeah but this is a guy who's actually been giving less and less returns every season since he joined, so if they're not used to it by now, then they really need to wake up and snap out of it haha. What I mean is that Neymar being ineffective is not new, so he does not vindicate Messi at all. I guess we will all continue waiting if he wants to take PKs like that.

After all, the squad that PSG has is not a weak squad, PSG has main players and second players with good quality. Therefore, even though Neymar is not included in the starting eleven, it is not a problem for PSG and also, Neymar's 30 years of age has become a risk that is increasingly prone to injury. neymar is in a club where his talent will not be well used due to his style of play, I think that if neymar were in a club like real madrid or city he would be playing very well and would not always be injured. the style of play in franca does not suit him and messi this is my opinion

I am hardly surprised at the defeat of PSG,they have an important match against Real Madrid in Bernabeu stadium and their full focus is there.They sure play the games in the Ligue 1 but their concentration is normally not being the same as the one they will have in the return leg against Real Madrid.Also the fact that Neimar missed the penalty does not surprise me,they are already 13 points ahead and they are already Champions of the Ligue 1 this season,other lost games can be expected from PSG and they are not a safe team to bet on the Ligue 1 anymore at least for this season.In Champions is a completely different story as that is now their main objective.

Maybe it is not a big game but I wonder which side will be the winner or whether there will be a winner. I mean the Strasbourg - Nice game in three days. Strasbourg are the most interesting team of the season to me. They didn't start to the season good but they fixed most of their problems later on. And now, they are at the fourth place in the standings being only three points behind Nice. And Nice are having a solid season also. They are performing much better than the previous season and fighting for the second place to be able to qualify for the CL groups directly. I feel like this game would end in a draw.

It is not acceptable result for PSG they have. But they can not blame on Champions League because PSG have good players for their second squad so that they can win many matches in Ligue 1 with their second Tier players. Sometimes their substitute players can not perform well after long time on the bench but it is not all to assess their quality

Neymar has never been in his best in this season. Over weighted, got injuries, lot of time to recover, unhealthy habit and he is going to his 30. It is bad to see Neymar is going towards downside of his career without good recognition as ther third best players under only Messi and Ronaldo.

Plus, there are already a number of young players who claim to be top 1 - Mbappe, Haaland, maybe Vinicius. PSG has all it takes to win the championship league but I doubt if they are really prepared for it. They had good advantage in the first leg over Maldrid but didn't utilze it what's the possibility of winning the second leg. The should face both leagues. The League 1 and the championships league so Incase the lose out on one the can pursue the other with full force

Strasbourg is big package of this season and with current form most chances they will stay here at top, and they will try to clinch third spot because this is currently achievable for few teams with current form they are a strong candidate for this spot right now Lyon and Monaco are struggling and have very few chances for grabbing this Nice and Strasbourg are both fighting hard, but form is going with home team even their start of this season was not ideal, but later they achieve some good success.

We still have 13 round left in this season and few changes possible but few teams playing unpredictable which is going to be concern for them at the end of this season most chances defending champion is going to be in middle of table and Monaco and Lyon will try to have some better place.

Lyon and Lille game seems like a much better game to watch this week. I am not saying that they would be having a game that would be greatly entertaining to watch, but these are two great teams that ended up being not so great.

Lyon had like a decade long domination over ligue 1 back in the day and horrible right now, and Lille is the latest champion and ended up being bad this season as well. All in all I would guess that this game may not be entertaining because of big talent but it could be very entertaining to watch in the long run because it would actually matter a lot for the future of these teams and I am expecting the result to give one of them a good momentum.
