The lack of defenders meant that Galtier had to change his strategy again after Ramos came off, although Neymar was given chances in the second half.

No wonder when they changed their focus to prioritize the Champions League, because that has been their dream for a long time. Moreover, their work in Ligue 1 is fairly easy for a team that has star-studded players like them. There's a rumor around that Mbappe is not happy with the position and role that Christophe Galtier is using him in, Mbappe has not come out to openly say this, but from some football articles and the striker's tweet he made and deleted some days ago, it is rumored that he is unhappy and he wants the coach to deploy him in a different role or position. I do not know if Mbappe is actually angry at the coach since he has not been so influential in psg's games this season except for a few of them, and he is now crying for a change. When Mbappe signed his new contract, we believe it came with some promises that has made Mbappe a strong figure in PSG, both on and off the pitch , if that be it, the coach may be getting the wrong man upset .

Mbappe might even be the reason of Galtier's departure from the team in the future.  

Because since he signed that contract with enormous conditions, he has been like the owner of PSG. The board respect him so much and take his wishes into consideration directly. They really need to do this because they are responsible for this result at the same time. Mbappe knows how much valuable he is to the team now and he wants to use this to his advantage as much as possible. I don't know how healthy and long this relationship between Mbappe and the team can be. It feels like there will be a huge disagreement between them at one point and Mbappe can suddenly leave the team.

But I don't think that it would be in this season of course. Mbappe must be focused on the Champions League title now.

PSG have been unlucky in the Champions League for years. They will probably not be able to win this year either, given the way the team is organised. quite impressive performance was shown by the Lorient team and they did beyond the expectations of many people, currently Lorient have won 8 matches 1 draw and 1 lost from the 10 matches they have played, if they can maintain their good game I am very sure Lorient will be able to finish in the top 4 this season.

while Marseille had a bad result this week, they suffered a loss at home against a bottom team, that's a shame and I lost a lot of bets in that game. and that's football a lot of surprising things happen and that's why football is always interesting because there are unexpected things.

It was a good performance by Lorient against Brest in this match. Considering that Lorient was playing against a team that was at the bottom of the table, this type of performance was expected of them, especially due to the fact that they were playing against them. Although I know that the scoreboard probably does not give the impression that they had a really good match, I personally believe that they did. For some reason, I am starting to think that this might be the start of the decline of Marseille. I think we knew that this day was coming. I feel like I am actually overthinking this but Marseille just lost against a team that is at the bottom of the table. Obviously, PSG is at the top of the table. They are going to win the league title as well in my opinion.
The match between Lorient and Brest also ended just now. Right now Lorient is in the second position ahead of Marseille. Lorient is ahead by 2 points, and right now it feels like even though PSG is supposed to be the winner of this League, they are going to have some good competition this season at least. I think that the answer is "The players had some fatigue after their Champions League game.". They played here only after three days in the end. But of course getting this loss right before their PSG fixture in the league is very bad for Marseille. As that game is in Parc des Princes as well, PSG have a big opportunity to make the gap with them bigger.

as Galtier had predicted, the results would not be very satisfactory. after all, a draw doesn't really affect PSG's ranking in Ligue 1. as we know, PSG's goal is to do well in the champions league.

But at least he doesn't get red cards too often these days.    We are still at the beginning of the season of course and we will see how aggressive he will continue to be. He is still a solid defender aside from that. Maybe PSG might even convince him to retire here depending on his consistency.

PSG have a big chance to open the gap with Marseille even more this week. Because PSG are hosting them this week and I don't think Marseille can steal any point in this match. This isn't some "either / or" type of situation for PSG, they could easily beat anyone in Ligue 1, and still focus on UCL at the same time. I mean even their bench players without any of the starting eleven should be good enough for a top half of the league finish, let alone playing all the great names in the club during these games as well. Sure some players take a rest like Messi because he is getting older and they would want to use him for UCL instead.

But, we are talking about something that is very very big deal when it comes to Ligue 1 as well, they may fail UCL because so many great teams, but they have to win Ligue 1 because that’s the only guaranteed thing for them.

After he signed this last contract it became an unhealthy relationship, i feel psg did too much to try to keep him, they should have let him choose for himself, from his heart, but they did too much to influence his decision and now they have formed a player who thinks he is bigger than the team and he can disrespect anyone, how do psg think they can use such a player to win the champions league, he may be a quality player, but if he can't be controlled by the coach then he can't work well for the team.

No one has any doubt about Marseille as they are second-best club in French League but sadly after having amazing start of this season now in last three matches they already lost five points, and now they are going to face leaders PSG which is surely the biggest challenge for them if they fail to have any positive result from this match then surely they are going to slip at fourth spot as few teams are performing good and have better results in last few matches which are giving them better spot.

Losing at home against AC Ajaccio a shocking result, and now they must have to fight back otherwise Monaco and Lens both are on positive run which can give them good challenge until end of this season.

so it was probably just a misunderstanding too ?? i was so confused to see the referee pull out the red card that fast in the face of Ramos, i'm not saying that a player can insult a referee but the referee could have warned him and stepped up, pulling a red card for every insult would end most matches in 3-0 awarded games, talking to Ramos to apologize would have been a good decision to give him a chance to take it back.

Mbappe is becoming very arrogant. He should respect his team coach and teammates. He is still young. He has more talented and experienced players in the squad. Messi, Neymar, and Ramos are much more experienced than Mbappe. However, Mbappe should not clash with coach Galtier. He cannot criticize an experienced and senior coach like Galtier. After Ten rounds, things are very interesting as many teams are fail to give their best and struggling badly, but we have two teams which are surely at their best and have good chance for staying into top ranks for few more weeks because they have now better performance and can do better than current level now in 11th round we have PSG vs Marseille which is surely going to be one of the best match with Rennes is going to host Lyon which is currently at their worst level with four defeats and one draw.

Lorient is surely one of the best performer in this season because their last season rank was 16, and now they are at second spot which is surely the biggest shock for French soccer community and if Marseille able to have any positive result against leaders PSG then surely the biggest beneficiary could be Lorient as they could be at the top of league table.

In order to prove that Ramos insulted the referee or not, I think it is necessary to involve an expert in reading mouth movements like what happened to Materazzi and Zidane in the 2006 world cup. Galtier has taken a wise move by defending his players although it is not yet known what exactly came out of Ramos mouth. The language barrier became the right reason for Galtier to explain the case that happened to Ramos to the media crew.
